- When you invite a friend through a link that you share in whatsapp, telegram, etc, and people register through that link, I think it would be better if you are automatically rewarded instead of those people having to enter your name. Because I noticed if I really have to push people to fill in my name, it comes off a bit suspicious, like if there is no real advantage for them to switch from Whatsapp/Telegram to Gems, but only for me.

- Logged out of the GEMS Messenger v2.1.5 (408) - When I open the app again and select "Already have an account" I have to go through the exact same process as creating a new account, Enter Username, Enter Passphrase, Enter PinCode, Enter phonenumber. I thought I read somewhere this was simplified or is this something that will be simplified in upcoming releases?
- Notifications. I was able to send some test btc to my GF, she received the btc almost instantly in her wallet (perfect). there was however no message or indication where the btc came from? When she tried to send back the exact same amount this failed, presumably because she didn't have enough to send that amount + fees. There is however no notification of the sending failing or why it fails. It asks for the pin and warns about the fact that she's about to send btc. But it doesn't. Maybe notifications are in place here.
Logged out? I'm not sure that even possible. :0. you only need to use the password when you set the account up on your phone. Main menu, Settings, Top right corner dropdown, Log Out Ah ok. I'm not sure I personally would ever log out really, the wallet is protected by the pin and if you really don't want someone to see a chat you can destroy it. But other people have different needs. It would be nice if the wallet pin also locked the app maybe if you wanted that function as an optional.. I like the log out option and would use it if just username and pin would be enough to log back in again. Use case: What if someone needs to borrow your phone for what ever reason for a few hours.. It has annoyed me in the past with for example Gmail that a simple log out is not possible on smartphones so I am happy to see GEMS Messenger does have the option to log out, if only they would make it a little easier to log back in :-) I try not to lent my phone to another person. Too much hassle and I have my Google Auth / Authy on it. Too personal. |

Had an issue with the app on my Lenovo A806 (Android 4.4.2).
It kept saying "the specific user is not found" when I tap on the wallet.
Then I loaded Google Play and it won't show up under "my apps"
Had a look around and saw Getgems Messenger in Google Play and the greenish Install button.
So shall I uninstall the old Gems app and download "Getgems Messenger"?

Download from Google Play works fine on the Lenovo A806 (Android 4.4.2) 3. Passphrase and login on https://counterwallet.io/# works fine. Bitcoin, like fiat currency, is just a vessel of value. How high a value that it'll encapsulate will depend on its utility and rarity. The more it's accepted, used and cycled, the higher users would place value in it. Hence the demand. Holding on to it may increase rarity and maybe push the price up a bit, but the moment somebody decided to unload, the price will plummet. So the best is increase its utility. The value will follow.

By looking at the chart, you will see that stellar is trending higher while bitcoin is getting lower each day. Stellar has broken away from every other coin because it is unique. If it's going up while everything else is going down, it will only go up faster if everything else goes up..
has there been any major upgrade from stellar after the launch? I see the wallet can be used for other currencies, but still its lacking any big upgrades. |

We have released the Early Access Plans for the DriveShare Beta, as announced on our forum and social media. Crowdsale participants get exclusive access to early farming software and applications.
Test Group A and B will be open only to crowdsale participants. Anyone can acquire 10,000 SJCX to participate in Test Group C.
There will be 3 Test Groups:
Group A Crowdsale participants holding 10,000 SJCX - Not Rewarded (Late 2014)
Group B All participants in the crowdsale - Rewarded (Early 2015)
Group C Anyone holding 10,000 SJCX or more - Rewarded (Early 2015)
SJCX can be purchased at any time and be added to your address balance to be able to qualify for Test Group C. Also your original crowdsale address can be topped up to and over 10,000 SJCX to be eligible for Test Group A.
“Not Rewarded” means Group A will only be helping with testing and will not earn coins for sharing their storage. “Rewarded” means you will earn SJCX to share your free storage during beta testing (Groups B and C).
At the time of testing, make sure you use a SJCX or Bitcoin address where you control the private keys; we do not recommend using an address from an exchange. There may be a need to verify you actually own the address before you are allowed to be a tester. We are still finalizing the details and we will make more announcements when closer to the early release.
