You can start trading with those altcoins that are pretty stable on the market and then exploring for the new altcoins (which at the moment are in the ICO phase), the earlier you invest there the higher can be the profit selling them after the ico, but this does not happen always as there are lots of scams.
I don't think that the earlier you invest on an ICO the higher profit that you will get because i tried investing in ICO about RISE coin and i lose a lot of coins because i didn't know that in ICO stage the bigger you have their shares the bigger you will lose if there is new investor  . |

You can grow your bitcoin by using campaigns and that is also the easiest way but the only downside is that its taking a lot of time.
I do not have a lot of spare time so sometimes I'm not earning anything with it.
It is not taking a lot of time if you have you're sr.member account already prepared for doing it. You have also many signature campaining where you can make 20-30 posts a day at maximum,so you can have pretty decent profit every day,without many time spent. I don't think that 20-30 posts a day will not consume much time because if you don't know many things about bitcoin it can take you up to 8 hrs per day just to fulfill that max post and also maximize your earnings. Therefore IMO signature campaign is not a good choice to grow your btc because it's not stable and not forever and also not all the time you have some free time to spend on doing signature campaign. Better to find other ways that will not consume much time and also more profitable than signature campaign just like trading. |

Yes because i'm not type of bitcoin user who is actively spending my time watching the price movement so there a lot of times that i missed to sell my coins like it touched to $700 and just after a week or few couple of days it start to dump so i missed the right time to secure my profits.

I'm currently trying to learn about trading and I just want to seek an advice what is the best coin to buy and what is the best trading site to trade? I'm currently trading in C-cex and buying Safecoin. Do you know some other coin that is good to buy and other site that is good to trade with? Talking about coins i can't give some advice because i'm scared that if i suggest you to buy some coins and it will failed i'm sure that you will blame me and i can't accept that so it's better if you do some research first about the coin and also try to find out if their community is still active and their dev is also active and last but not the least look for the road map because in road map you can determine if it has a good future or not. |

Yeah i also lose some money when i was a newbie because of the trollbox that has doing some conversation about their coins. I still remember that they said that the deur (back in the time) that it will pump again to 10k sats and after i read their conversation, i rush all my money to invest/buy a lot of deur coins because it just 1k per piece in that moment but after several days the coin is continue to dumping and i just loss all my money and still as of now i regret that decision i made . |

For me I recommend lending, you can give loans here on this forum or invest on p2p lending sites like btcjam , etc. You can also try your luck on gambling or investing on HYIPs though it's not recommended.
Lending is a very good way to make profit on this forum if you have inital deposit,the only problem is that you need to find trustworthy person,and you motto need's to be "no collateral no loan" I like investing in btc casino's,it yields pretty good profit too. I am aware some people are doing great with lending. But it's risky don't forget that. Sometimes you need to do a lot of effort to get 1 dollar back. For me personally that's not worth it. You are right, I would not focus on lending in the community, I believe there are other ways that we can learn here in the community aside form gambling, I would rather do day trading. Yeah do trading and not gambling or lending because doing lending and gambling is very risky. In lending there are lot of scammers anywhere that is waiting for a person that is new in lending because it will easy for them to manipulate. Also gambling is like lending because you just like trusting someone and hoping that it will grow your bitcoin fast but the real thing is you will just get lost of all your bitcoin. |

Ive just had one of my friends ask for some advice on coins to pick to add to a portfolio but after being asked ive now decided id rather him find out for himself, I feel that if i give him advice and the ones i have said to pick end up failing then it will fall back on me so i think from now on i wont be giving any advice on trading. I dont mind telling him what ones i think are going to do well but i dont think its wise to promote any.
Is anyone in a similar situation or have you even made recommendations only for them to fail and friend slose money?
Yeah i also experienced that i give advice to my friend and he lose a lot of money that was DEUR because the average price of DUER in that day is 10k satoshi and the price dropped at 1k sats per piece so i give advice to him that put his all money on DEUR because i thought that soon the price will back to 10k sats and it will 10x his money, in that moment we are also both newbies but i tried trading first so he choose to follow all my advice but it's failed and i feel sad because it's my friend and he loss all his money on that moment so as of now i don't give advice on what coin to pick/invest and i'm very careful on giving advice because i'm scared that it will happen again . |

I have put 10% of my money into bitcoin. It is foolish to put all of them into bitcoin since it is volatile.
I agree that's a worst move that a person can do because if he put all his money on bitcoin he will run out of money for sustaining his daily expenses like food and also for monthly bills like internet,electricity and many more. So it's best for a person to put at least 10% of his money and in that way he can get assurance that he will not lose a lot of money if ever the market will go down. |

Holding bitcoin a long time could be a good way to make money if you know where the market's going. But unfortunately, no one knows where the market is going.
Yeah we can't be sure on where the market is going but there still a high possibility that it will go up because you can see from the history of the price of bitcoin that it's going up every year and its only experience price drop in months. So if you ask me i would still go for bitcoin holding at least for 4 years because after that year the next halving will happen (2020) and i'm sure that the price of bitcoin will skyrocket again  . |

Investing in all alts could potentially earn some profit. It really depends on ho much you made and lose.
I don't think that it needs to invest in all alts just to earn some profit because you can still earn good amount of bitcoin if you choose the coin that has a potential like it has a good dev and also good progress. Investing in all alts could potentially get negative profit not to a positive one because not all the coins will be on trend or either increase it's price because there's still a lot of coin and it's very hard for you to spread your money in all alts. |

You would require to have a good amount to money so that with few you can trade, some you can buy alt coins and for some you can hold btc and if price rises you can sell or hold for some months.
Yeah that's a good suggestion spread that huge amount of money on different markets like putting some money on alt coin market to grow that capital faster because there are much of coins that are available on market and most of them are very easy to manipulate because you have a lot of money. And put the rest of your money on bitcoin and just hold them for a long term investment and i'm sure just after 4 years or more the amount that you invested will surely doubled . |

Well If you want to earn that amount in just a short span of time I suggest that you go altcoin trading. I recommend before doing this though to have a very big capital maybe about 1 BTC above then of course some knowledge about it. If you have those two then you are ready to start well it is not guaranteed earnings though but it is very possible. I don't think that an average user need at least 1 btc to just start alt coin trading  . I start altcoin trading with just 0.005 when i was a newbie and i think it's a good amount to start because you are just starting to learn the things and get experience and even you get trading failure it's not so frustrating because you only have 0.005 capital . |

Learn trading for you know the system, and gain more profit to increase your bitcoin do not engage your btc to gambling, it may loss what you save.

get a high rank to bitcointalk then joint signature campaign, focus and dedicate more time to forum then after a year or less than a year you can get more than 1 btc , and also play some faucet for your spare time.
We know that faucets are just waste of time and can't even give us at least 0.005 btc per day. Gettign high rank account can't be affordable for newbies because it's need much bitcoin to just purchase high rank account, it's better if you just be patient and put a lot of effort on making your rank higher and also building post quality so someday all your hard work will pay off . |

-faucets -gambling if you're not greedy -trading -sig campaigns here -selling digital goods like twitter accts. Etc. Faucets are just a waste of time basically, so the ones who have a bit knowledge about bitcoin and are quite old in this industry should not waste their time in faucets, though it is good for newbies who has no other option. And you really cannot count gambling in the list of collecting bitcoins methods, because gambling is not designed for that, if you gamble for earning then you will just lose everything you have in hands. People that can earn with faucets are the faucet site owners. They are the one that has the ability to earn good profit out of it. But for the visitors for sure they are just wasting their time hoping for a bunch of satoshi. That's true only faucet owners can make faucet profitable because of the newbies being brainwashed that faucet are one of the best way to earn bitcoin. I think after halving or even now faucet will be not get much visitors and the faucet owners will not get good amount of bitcoin anymore because we know that faucet are just waste of time and very worthless . |

Faucets are not efficient at all. I would highly suggest Digibytes 1 is worth around 55 satoshis which might not seem like alot , but by playing CSGO or League of Legends depending on how many kills/wins etc you get the more digibytes you get. And once you have enough you could start trading.
Wow i don't know that i can earn cryptocurrency by just playing online game like LOL. But even i want to earn digibyte i don't have much knowledge on how to play that game because i'm not a type of person that waste my time on online games. But someday i will give it a try and let see if i get decent amount of Digibyte and i will start doing digibyte-bitcoin trading . |

As a newbie here. I think the best ways of earning bitcoin in my opinion is trading. There are two markets in which you can trade bitcoin-fiat and altcoin-bitcoin. Both markets have good potential for earning money.  Well I agree with you man. The other good thing to do to earn bitcoin is via signature campaigns. Signature campaigns gives decent earnings to it's posters well for a member level about 0.0026 per day. If you ask me it will be best if you don't rely on one way of earning and why not to combine that two and i'm sure that it will result for better earnings because the one who will provide capital is from your signature campaign and you will increase it or grow the capital from doing altcoin trading which is better than bitcoin trading because there are much coins to choose from. |

Well IMO you can earn money in this forum via signature campaigns. You'll need to have at least member account though to earn decently. Well you can work with your post quality first before joining while your under that rank.
Yeah signature campaign is one of the common ways to earn money in this forum and one of the easiest way to earn decent amount. You're right because it's usually require member rank to join to their campaign but first he need to build some post quality so it will be easy for mangers of different signature campaign to accept him and let him join the campaign . |
