9181  Economy / Economics / Re: If this chart is correct, it puts the price of bitcoin at $91,000 by 2020 on: March 21, 2018, 10:00:30 AM
Lots of analysis these days. Dont know how you guys are taking the graph in the positive way always but what I spot here is everyone just speculate the prices of the bitcoin going up in the future after two years or so. But do you guys really think that it will be the case always and your charts will speak the truth after two years in any way possible? Because these charts doesn't count the external and internal factors that may affect the bitcoin out reach in the people or something could happen which is related to the rules and regulation. This way market gets hampered many times and I believe its better to analyse the market daily rather than looking forward after two years.

LOL. Lot of market specialist that suddenly comes out like a mushroom. Similar to those doomsayers that also popping as well. The chart could be a good measure to see how bitcoin has been doing from the past, but I don't know if it can "accurately" predicts the movement in the next couple of months of even years. Where are the early speculators last year? Not one of them single out that bitcoin could get to $20000. The closest that those experts sees bitcoin is $5000. So it really proves that no one can see the future to even make assumptions that this and that price could be achieved in the next 2 years or so. I'm not saying that we will not get to $91000 maybe we can, or maybe we can get even further above it, but what happens if not? Too much disappointment again? That's why I rather would love to see how it will it go and not expect something big so that I will not be that disappointed if the price this go that far.
9182  Economy / Speculation / Re: When the price of bitcoin will go back to it's previous highest?? on: March 21, 2018, 08:24:51 AM
We have seen that the price of bitcoin has been stucked between 8k and 9kk.Sometimes,it reach 10k.But will the price of bitcoin reach it's previous highest within the end of this year?Which price are you expecting??

Previous high is about $19000. With the current price of $9000 and 9 months still, more like that we can break it because its just about x2 of the current market price I know that we can't replicate the price surge last year, but its likely to be achieved because I still believed that there are a lot of investors who are still willing to pump more money in the market, they are just reluctant and wanted to see how everything goes after the G20 thing. And now, it looks like the meeting has a very favorable outcome, I wouldn't be surprise if  this is a start of another massive bullrun and get to 5 figures once again. I admit that I'm very bullish about bitcoin, so don't be surprise if I see it going as high as $30000 at the end of the year. Grin
9183  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price - 3 months on: March 21, 2018, 08:05:11 AM
It's been a tough few months for Bitcoin since the beginning of the year. Where do you see it going over the next few months? My money says it will be around $13,500. The market in general is still tied to Bitcoin, so a rise in Bitcoin's price will see it move up overall. I am hoping within the next couple of years (preferably sooner) that the market will start to move independently, but the fact remains that (like it or lump it) Bitcoin rules the waves for the moment.

I agree, its been really tough to see bitcoin going into a lot of wild swing, roller coaster ride that some of us felt uneasy and decided to quit for good and going as low as $5800 and $7500 respectively. I say that we need to get to 5 figures and see how resistance and or consolidation will affect the sentiments of the investors. Right now we are riding a 3 days price pump, but we don't know where the price could end because we all know how quickly the market sentiments changes. If we have somewhat sustained this rally around $11000 before seeing some resistance, then I guess that we can go as high $12000-$13000. But if we found resistance at early stage, then I say that $10000 will be a good estimate IMHO.
9184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banking will still be significant until cryptocurrencies can "stand on their own on: March 17, 2018, 08:28:40 PM
for the moment the Bank is still standing upright, then how is the continuation of the bank if Crypto already stand alone and in the public know so that in use fully and all countries wear it. is there going to be a temporary panic in the financial world? .... and all the banks in every country collapse is that what will happen hopefully there is no market panic

The scenario that you pictured will not likely to happened in the future. Even though that crypto is slowly going mainstream and a lot of people want to be "its own bank'. Financial institution will stay whether we like it or not. Yeah, we must admit that crypto is a threatening disruptive technology that has challenged the way we look at banks, but it doesn't mean that it people will all go to crypto to store their wealth and money. And its a main component of the economy in the world. Banks is like a gauge, observe those wealthy nation and you will notice that their banking and financial system are very healthy as well.
9185  Economy / Speculation / Re: G20 is believed to be another weapon for bears to scare panic chips out on: March 17, 2018, 12:37:04 PM
Price remains stable on daily chart, the market seems to be preparing itself for next storm, will G20 summit be the igniter?

It can go either way. It can go in our favor, or France and Germany "universal regulations" will be the catalyst and see the bearish trend continue up to the second quarter of the year. That's why the G20 outcome is very critical to cryptoverse. Right now its looks like the price is stuck and stalling and everyone is really waiting. I think the meeting will be held this Monday-Tuesday so by mid week we will now how things turn out. I'm still optimistic that the call for regulation is that tight as everyone is expecting. Probably just KYC/AML compliant. We still have a lot of allies like Japan and Australia in G20 so its going to be interesting as what will be the result. Let's and wait and see how it goes next week.
9186  Economy / Economics / Re: after Facebook on: March 17, 2018, 12:29:32 PM
What do you expect? Facebook and Google are two titans in social media industry, so for sure there will be a impact. But the question is, how big and how long is the impact gonna be? In my opinion, it will be short lived. How many negative news that we have overcome since the inception of bitcoin? And we have seen much worst news that this and we survived. The only long term effect that I'm seeing is that those legit ICO will have to look for other platforms to promote their product. Its really sad though to see, they are really affected, but I guess it will just be a matter of time that social medias will have to weed out those bad eggs so that they can't take advantage and possible scam more people in the future.

What are the driving factors for crytpocurrency valuation?

Scarcity? Utility? Use? Demand? Network? or am I off base already?

It still boils down to the basic economic law of supply and demand. Here, look at some threads regarding bitcoin price and supply and demand.

9189  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-03-16] Crypto Escapes Scrutiny at Annual China Investor Event on: March 17, 2018, 09:04:57 AM
LOL I reckon that they intentionally skip anything related to crypto. That's how authoritarian this Chinese government are. I also believed that you can't even mentioned the word bitcoin or crypto in the said Investor Event. And it only makes sense to not even discuss anything about crypto, they have suddenly made a U-turn, so it means that crypto is not a good investment as per government. They have block everything, from social media sites related to bitcoin, to banning ICO and local exchanges. I wouldn't be surprise if bitcoin mining is the next target in line to complete the ban hammer.
9190  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin still going down? on: March 17, 2018, 08:51:14 AM
Is bitcoin reach to its lowest level again?
When price become stable?

currently the bitcoin is silent at $ 8.233
I think this is the peak of the decline in bitcoin.
many possibilities will happen, but the possibility of bitcoin will be slow in growth for this month maybe even this year. I'm not sure there are many changes if there is no lightning network

Bitcoin's last bottom is around $7800 before it immediately recovered above $8000 then peaked at $8500 then experienced another dip and trading at $8200-$8300 levels. Lightning is in Beta as far as I know and has a major backing from different investors. But I don't know if investors are aware of it or its just they are very reluctant to pour their cash because of the very high volatility that we are experiencing. Stable price? Hard to predict, but personally I would like to see bitcoin at 5 digits, $10000 will be a good price to be consider as stable price.

Is bitcoin reach to its lowest level again?
When price become stable?
I want to believe bitcoin is on the verge of going to test the last bottom and probably from there will form a double bottom. However, I am really looking forward to how this is going to end up playing out with the whole market. If we can get this scenario played out once and for all, I am sure we should start having very good times ahead of us, otherwise breaking that last bottom will send us packing downward, but let us stay optimistic.

Would love to see that this is the last bottom we are going to test before another breakout and rally at some point and test $10000 again. However, a lot has been going on, and there's still the G20 meeting outcome that we need to monitor. If it went on our favor then I see a good price spike, however, expect the price to go down a bit further and might test $6000-$7000. But lets be positive and see how it goes next week.
9191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC FN 127: Werdum vs Volkov Prediction and Info Thread on: March 17, 2018, 08:31:51 AM
I am very much interested to see what the career path of Fabricio Werdum would be,he is going for another title shot and he has a tough opponent in Aexander Volkov, but the problem with Volkov is that i have not seen him beat any championship caliber fighters in his career and so i am going with Werdum to win  the fight.

Watched the reply of his fight against Roy Nelson and I don't see anything special that will put Werdum in danger. Although he is long and has a good jab, I think Fabricio can withstand it, he is a pressure striker and very aggressive, Volkov will have his hands full here, But when the bell ends, I'm seeing Fabricio on top.

I am not sure about Jimi Manuwa as he is all talk and never performs well against top contenders, but Jan Blachowicz lost to Jimi Manuwa earlier and i am not sure why this fight was made in the first place may be to please the home town fans as the best earner for them Bisping is not fighting in this card they might have given the chance to Manuwa.
Another fighter i am interested in is Hakeem Dawodu .

Hahaha. 100% agree. Its seems that Jimi can't back up those big mouth of his. It looks like that first match took place like 3 years ago and its a decision win for Jimi. I think they need someone local to be inserted in the fight to at least some ticket sells going. I also noticed that almost all of Jimi's win is inside England, so I think he will pull this one and please the hometown crowd.
9192  Economy / Economics / Re: Why are people doing so many things to frustrate crytocurrency on: March 17, 2018, 07:57:31 AM
I came across an article recently. Google is joining Facebook and Twitter to ban all crypto related ads. Why does everyone seem to want to frustrate crytocurrency?

I don't think that's what Facebook and Twitter intention in the very beginning. In my opinion, they are not against crypto, what they trying to achieved is to stop or at least curb a lot of scammers out there who are using their platform to promote their shady schemes. However, their moved has a negative connotations and people thinks that they are anti-bitcoin or crypto in general. Its just the side effect, but we can't do anything about it and understand where they are coming from. And at least investors should read between the lines because they really thought that those 2 giant social media is conspiring to put us down, but that is not the case. Just sad though that paid schills and FUD's will add fuel to the fire and spin the news as if everyone is trying to frustrate crypto.
9193  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Cryptocurrency review site, looking for feedback on: March 17, 2018, 07:24:51 AM
Hello everyone,

Website: https://cryptreview.com

I have created cryptreview in order to create a place where people can look up coins and quickly gain an overview of the fundamental value of it.

~ snip ~

I try to view your website in two different browsers and compare everything side-by-side.

1. Google Chrome - looks like everything is fine.

2. Internet Explorer - this is where I got this weird issues. The score in the Spotlight is not loading, then I have to hover my mouse to the correct coordinates just to see the scores and its displaying a drop-down. And the total over is total invisible, I need to highlight, just to see the numbers.

3. Mobile - I haven't done any test yet, but I suggest you do on different platforms as well, (Android, IOS).
9194  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin Price Going Down? on: March 17, 2018, 07:09:56 AM
Hello guys, I been holding crypto currency for many years now because I so one of many enthusiast person on crypto currency particularly on bitcoin. From its low to its highest price. But now how I see it in the charts the price is to low, Its hit 7665$ from 20000$. Why?? What Happen??

If you buy it at 20000$ for sure its a  big upset on you side because you loss more that 50% of your capital.

That is why even if Bitcoin Price is to low today many investor's are afraid to buy because bitcoin myth go down more and
the loss moeny.

I know there is a lot of  expert traders out there

Can you  Make an Advice When I should Buy Bitcoin?

In what price bitcoin price heading now, thus it goes down? or up?

And how much money should I invest on it?

Those who have bought bitcoin around $20000 is already gone. They already good burned as early as January-February so I guess they have exited already. And the rest who have bought at that top price who are still holding will slowly offload as well because they thought that its going to bounce back, sadly that is not the case. I guess you have heard about the Mt. Gox trustee secretly offloading shit tons of bitcoin from December up to the first week of March, that put a lot of strain in the market that's why its seems we can't really take off, heck even $12000 is really hard to get. And then there's a lot of FUD (as usual), and then governments and banks, anti bitcoin stance. I'm no expert in predicting where the price is heading, but if you are going to look at bitcoins previous record, its only proven that it has the ability to bounce back. As far as how much money you should invest, I don't think that anyone can answer that. I guess its really up to you, how much money are you willing to risk?
9195  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC break below the former low at $6,000 on: March 17, 2018, 06:59:06 AM
I do not know, obviously if until the price touches the figure $ 6k the situation will get worse and there will be a lot of panic. IMO it would not be possible, as many cryptocurrency experts predict that prices will go to the moon. nobody knows when the price is going to the moon, and that's obvious it will happen in the year 2018. actually the thread you made this could just make people panic, because in it contains elements that smell negative and indirectly you have assumed something will happen , before it happens.
we'll see the future will be how, because this is just a prediction.

There are support levels at $7600 and at $7000, but I'm sure that this can easily broken if there's just one negative news that will ripple throughout the market. Everyone is very fragile, causing domino effect and panic ensures. Yesterday, I thought that we are going to bounce back around $9000 already as the price gets a good boost from the Lightning Network news however, it's not that strong as it didn't hold and we are back again hovering $8000. Its really hard to see how the price moved, so even a price of $6000 or lower is possible, IMHO.
9196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lets do an Aim that we will not fear from any bad news and will Support BITCOIN on: March 17, 2018, 06:35:30 AM
In the past an year ago the price of bitcoin was going much better on upward direction and everyone was of the opinion that bitcoin is a decentralized currency and no one even the governments can harm it and it is in the control of the users and holders. If the holders will not sell at low then none of the world power can reduce its price. At that time I remember none of the bad news was having power to reduce the price of bitcoin. I remember when Russia banned bitcoin in their country and there was not any affect of it in bitcoin. But nowadays it became the mentality of the users of bitcoin that when any bad news come then the price will reduce so with any bad news they start to sell as faster as they can and in that way they dump the price too much.

During the December madness, there are a lot of irrational buyers, those investors, usually newbies who really thinks that bitcoin will make them millionaires. That's why they keep buying at top price and even though there are negatives news coming around, it didn't have any significant dent because, investors keep pouring money into the ecosystem. And those that are selling in the last 3 months are those who invested in December. They got burned and murdered when the market suddenly when into bearish sentiment.

So today I decided to start a campaign to aware everyone that bitcoin is a decentralized currency and none of the bad news can harm its price unless we sell at low.

In this campaign we every user of bitcoin have to make this aim and have to promote it to everyone that we will not fear from any bad news and have to keep it in mind that we will not sell our coin when any bad news come.

Good initiative. actually I think most of the members are really fighting those FUD that is going around. Just go and look at the speculation thread, lots of thread saying that bitcoin is going to go down as low as $2000. LOL. Lot of doomsayers, but we have to fight back, inform everyone that this is just another bump along the way and eventually everything will fall into the right pieces and soon we will bounce back from this bearish trend.
9197  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-03-15]Bitcoin Thieves No Longer Just an Online Threat, How to Stay Safe on: March 17, 2018, 06:25:01 AM
We can categorized them as criminals already and not just ordinary thieves you can find in the street. They used social medias as tool to spot their potential victims and carry this face-to-face attacks. I guess everyone should keep quiet as how many bitcoins you have, or how many you made just on crypto currency alone. Because those criminals will go after you, no matter. As @Lucius have said, you don't need to talk it publicly with friends or even close family members because you really don't know what's on their mind or something. Its like saying that you don't need to trust everyone now because crypto is going mainstream and as a result is the new targets for criminals, so better be safe than sorry.
9198  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: MrGox trustee is behind all the scams on: March 16, 2018, 08:38:16 PM
MrGox trustee is behind all the scams
N1 He could never sell BTC for money without aproval from the original owners... Angry
N2 Why the fuck he sell bitcoin cash also?  Huh ( for shure it was not with good intencions bicouse wend peapol got hacked bitcoin cash dont exist yet )
N3 Why did he refuse kraken help to sell the funds without fucking the market ?  Lips sealed ( this sounds very fishy )
N4 Why the original owners did not yet recieve all their funds also?  Shocked (for shure he is trading with another peapol funds thats why the markets not stable )
N5 I dont believe on the right state of mind the tokyo court allow him to exchange 400 milion ( unless he have some connects inside )
N6 I really believe he knows everything about all the stolen exchanges in japan and also about the japan exchange CEO american guy found dead ( thats why they kill him ( erase evidence ) and this for me its enough reasons to believe MrGox hack was an inside job and now ( once again ) they have the funds blocked from original owners and even like that they are fucking the market ...

Initially it was reported that he started to dump bitcoin during the December frenzy so I speculate that he is one factor that contributed to the downfall of bitcoin since then. He is a trustee, so I think the can do anything with the coins he is holding. He needs to offload Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash, because he need to pay the creditors. I don't think that he is stupid though, but maybe he is doing it in good faith however, his action really put a lot of pressure on the price. I understand where you coming from because we don't know what's going on. The price keeps dipping and it seems we can't take off. However, the damage has been done already. But the good news is that he can't just dump the remaining bitcoin he holds unless there is a court order. And the next court appearance is in September, so I don't expect any movement today up to September.
Damage had been done already and lets be thankful that market didn't crash too much into very deep and the remaining bitcoin had been completely stopped on selling out but still it doesn't really give me the confidence that we are already done into these kind of controversies that we are facing into bitcoin market.I do expect even more news heading towards us and we still be thankful that price do able to tank inspite on having these very negative things.

Sooner or later we might see another negative news coming our way that will impact the market but not as significant as the Mt. Gox trustee offloading. Good thing though that someone has able to catch as to what the trustee is doing. Because we really don't know what's happening and even the so called expert can't agree as to what causing like price correction every month or so. At least the picture is now clear as the dust has been settling down. Yeah, bitcoin once again show how resilient it is from all the dumping and bad news coming and thankfully holding strong above $8000 range and did not bottom around $2000-$5000 which all the naysayers have predicted.
9199  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we waiting for a bearish bomb? on: March 16, 2018, 07:49:03 PM
It will reach $6000 dollars again for sure. Just one bad coverage on a popular website and Bitcoin drops buy a thousand bucks lmao, we need regulations.

LOL. Someone says that it will go as low as $5000. There's really too much FUD going around right now. I think you already know that this is a speculative market, that's why the price is very volatile and just like you said a single negative news will turn the price down south. However, every FUD, every attacks that we have witness are short lived. Because one investors found out that the news is just fake or spreading lies, they will go back to the market again. Sometimes common sense and due diligence is the best weapon to combat all this bearish sentiments. As of now bitcoin is up, around $8600 so I don't think that $5000 could be test anytime soon. And talking about bitcoin coverage:

9200  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC right now on: March 16, 2018, 07:34:42 PM
Waiting for BTC to break the $5k level as that might be a good entry point. The price should do a hard rebound after that and make for some nice returns.

LOL. What $5000 are you talking about? Haven't you check the latest price? Almost all of the major coins is recovering and bouncing back so I don't think that bitcoin will go lower than that. Although is a good buying opportunity to see it going that deep but it won't happen as the resistance along $8000 is strong and now we are going to test $9000 and see how it goes.

What is your take on BTC as of right now? Are you buying, selling or waiting?
If you are waiting, which price are you waiting for?

I am waiting for BTC to break 9,5k or to go through 7,5k. If it goes through 7,5k I'll wait to see where it ends. Above 9,5k I am in.
We can see that the market is starting to recover today after several days of high inflation. Prices for both bitcoin and altcoin have rebounded today, with bitcoin prices now at $ 8600 and still rising slightly. I learned that China will launch the government-backed Blockchain Investment Center, so bitcoin prices will continue to increase in the coming days.

I don't think that the price recovery today has something to do with the news about China, I speculate that the bounce is influenced by the news that Lightning Network goes live. We all have been anticipating this day because most of us wanted to see it implemented and its about time that we have at least one good news that might trigger a bull run that all of us have been waiting.
