922  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GENESIS-MINING Review: full disclosure, Cloud Mining (+get free Steem/BTC) on: May 14, 2017, 10:40:44 AM
Out of cloudmining options, Genesis Mining is the biggest bullshit, a legal scam. Sorry for your loss but there ve been so many threads about them.
I agree with you . this time too many things like this that give us false hope. with enticing lure to benefit, in the end we lost all the money we have. need a proposal / blue paper that is reassuring to be able to secure this business.

It s not false hope what motivates people, it s greed and the lack of common sense. WHY would a cloud mining company of such magnitude let you make money off them?

Are you sure crazyivan? I was sure that your mission is to disclousure scams!? I never seen that you have any proofs against Bitcoin Mining.. I'm not saying that this kind of businnes is profitable, but saying that they are not legit must have some confirmation behind.. do you have any to say like that?

It s no my business to discourse scams but I do not like new members of our great cryto economy lose money like this cause they ll probably leave crypto and not come back again cause they feel scammed. Who benefits from this? Only Genesis Mining people who took their money and gave them nothing in return.

Show me just ONE SINGLE person who has ever reached ROI with GM. Just ONE SINGLE verifiable proof. You can't. They say they have 200k users which is BS. Maybe 200k account registered. Even I have account there but do not use their shit service. So, how is it possible out of 200k users, there is no SINGLE USER who can say, YES I made money with them.

Do you really need more proof? Do you think you, out of 200k people, will be the first one who discovered a way to make money with GM? Don't be stupid. Save your money for something more profitable.
923  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BITCOIN GROWTH FUND! on: May 13, 2017, 04:39:30 AM
I have to say it does seem a bit fishy. I ve never heard of these guys or their fund.
Pls keep us informed about the status of your money.
924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: May 13, 2017, 04:37:01 AM
is it more safe to run enterprice locally then online? Started to read the docs going to try to run it locally if its more safe

Both are 100% safe

Thanks my wallet is almost synced. Took a few hours is that normal? In the docs they where talking about a waiting time af making a cup of tea? Also I cant seem to find where I can encrypt the wallet? Is it me or cant you really encrypt the enterprise wallet ?

You can't encrypt it. That s why I suggest to keep it exclusively on an offline machine. Turn it on only for transactions.
925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: May 12, 2017, 05:15:39 PM
Hello to you guys

Well a few months later, after having being accused of being a troll what do we have on factom ?? USD price has rallied 2.5x but nothing spectacular given the global picture, the spikes in terms of btc price have not exceeded those seen in September 2016 last year... The market cap hasn't even broken 100,000,000 USD...

In the meanwhile,I had at the time posted about NEM when it's market cap was around 30,000,000 USD and bow it's number 5 crypto with 1.1 billion market cap for a spectacular more than x30 rise

So guys next time you read guys posting everyday and making a lot of noise it doesn't mean they are clever. You should have listened to me guys instead of mocking me...

This is not a post to tell you to buy some NEM. Actually I'm taking my profits here.
Factom project is going nowhere it seems, the tech team seem to be not good enough and they are getting obsolete. The only good thing is they have some funding to survive a while longer but not sure they can make for the lost time with their team.

At this stage I think they should redesign the whole project and something good could get out of it. The risk is that they give up any time and take what's left of the money, that's another possible outcome.

I promise you some of the 9 or 10 digit market caps will be worth near zero in less than two years. The risk is factom share the same fate even if it's not even (yet) in the nine digit club...

HA HA HA.

These trolls re big time fun.

This BS is as I would come and say BTC s shit cause there ETH now which overtake it but you see, I purchased BTC when it was 30 cents and now taking profits.
Dude, please stop embarrassing yourself. You have been away for a few months, pls keep that status send me your NEM address so I can tip you for being a good boy.
926  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: May 12, 2017, 01:21:38 PM
Network works perfect since latest release, keep posting fud lol
did u read what exodus said in above statement?
l m fct holdr since ico no fud at all it s what exodus said.
Thanks

I really do not understand what s the problem. Factom enterprise wallet works perfect, without any problems. If Exodus feels they d like to wait some time and more sure network s stable, which has been stable for weeks now, I dont have a problem using Factom wallet until Exodus introduces Factom.

Dont create FUD where there s no cause/need for FUD.
927  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Please dump it on: May 12, 2017, 09:04:45 AM
I have lost the run since I sold all my btc exactly the day before the rise. Now I want to come back but price is too high. Please tell the Chinese to make a dump so I can join again. Thanks

You need to learn the fact real investors are INCREDIBLY patient and to always buy when there s blood in the streets. If you cannot cope with that kind of pressure, I feel crypto trading s not something you should be involved in.
928  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Have you guys used xCoins.io ? on: May 12, 2017, 08:47:21 AM
I guess the main issue is how to deal with Paypal chargebacks. Has anyone experienced issues with this when using them?
929  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Looking for cold wallet tutorials on: May 12, 2017, 06:11:02 AM
Tutorial? What kind of tutorial to you need?

It s very simple.

1. Get a low power laptop.
2. Install antivirus, spyware remover and anti key logger.
3. Install your favorite BTC wallet.
4. Transfer BTC.
5. Backup wallet.
6. Keep laptop and wallet offline at all times and power up only when doing transactions.
7. Never access anything else with that laptop besides your wallet.

Voila! Hope this helps.
930  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your coin sucks and is going to be surpased by an altcoin on: May 12, 2017, 06:07:16 AM
Stop.

You know little about what you speak. Ethereum isn't a coin. It can't be used to buy pizza or coffee or beer. It's a intranet currency. It's spent only among those that buy Ethereum's version of a blockchain.

The reality is that bitcoin is the primary currency...perhaps it becomes a store of value and litecoin and others are the currency, but if bitcoin goes away all other cryptocurrencies will too. You know why? Because all other cryptocurrencies don't differ that much from bitcoin. Full stop.

+1 to this.

BTC and ETH re two completely different kinds of animals and only total noobs compare these two on an equal basis.
931  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: May 12, 2017, 06:04:23 AM
Well, I think someone should make step by step guide for enterprise wallet as well as papermill, something really noob friendly. I ve seen people discussing this on Factom slack. I m suprised one cannot find anything on youtube or anywhere else.

https://docs.factom.com/#enterprise-wallet

you can skip the factomd installation and go to this section: https://docs.factom.com/#run-enterprise-wallet-online

use the custom factomd location setting and point to:  factomd-live.cloudapp.net:8088 (per documentation)

all done!

Brilliant, thank-you. Anyone new and wanting a wallet then this is the easiest one to use. For a safer offline "paper wallet" wallet use Papermill.

https://www.factom.com/devs/docs/howto/use-factoidpapermill

Using Online Enterprise wallet and want to import private key from Papermill? - Add new address, Generate New Address From - Import Private Key

No urgent need for Exodus wallet now

You can use your enterprise wallet on a cold storage machine as well. Somebody mentioned they do not like using papermill since there s no actual balance display. Well, this is the solution for that problem.
932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: May 11, 2017, 11:00:26 AM
Factom crazy cheap all of a sudden any reason for that ?

BTC went big time up, nothing special. Usual market swings, it ll get back to the old price in a week or two. We ve seen this pattern at least 10x this year.

Yes I know about BTC going up but it seems factom was hit a lot harder then everything else.

That s also true but Factom s probably number 1 target for bots and speculators since it does not have miners, stakers or anything similar to that to increase the amount of trades per day. If I were you, I d preserve my nerves and come back once this storm calms down, which it will, in a few days. Once again, we ve seen this so many times before, learn to profit from this.
933  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If only.... on: May 11, 2017, 07:37:51 AM
Just wanted to share my experience of bitcoin with the recent price rises.

I bought £15000 worth of bitcoin at 3 different stages back in November 2013 when the price went sky high from the tens, to the hundreds then up over $1000.  Think I bought at $300, $600 and $1000 or something, can't exactly remember.

Anyway the price plummeted as we know but I held on for the long term.  But then I lost my job, had a holiday in the US planned and held out for months until I had no choice but to sell. I sold all 27 bitcoins for £7000 meaning I lost £8000 overall.

I didn't want to sell as I would have rather kept them with a chance of either making money one day or losing it all, rather than sell immediately and lose £7000.  Price continued to drop below $300 so in some way I was happy i didn't lose more but when it stabilized at $250 and stayed there for what seemed like ages I knew it had a future and would go up again one day.  But I couldn't bring myself to throw more money at it.

Anyway today my 27 bitcoins would have been worth £37000 and a nice £22000 profit.  Oh well.  Undecided

Really sorry for your loss. Patience s something you learn, especially in crypto, it took me years to understand this. In my early days of crypto trading, I was also person who followed exchange and checked the price 50x per day. Any red candle would be something which would concern me big time. I have learned not to consider crypto as a short term investment and consequently I do not care about short term price movements.

Long term, I dont see how crypto holders can lose.
934  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hypothetically: How/Where is the best place to sell $2M USD worth of Bitcoin ? on: May 11, 2017, 07:34:07 AM
There s no such a way without going face to face which is extremely stupid and unsafe.

Actually, I ve never used this one. This is an online option, is there an offline option besides papermill?

938  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Mining dificult can make cloud mining unprofitable? on: May 10, 2017, 05:09:30 PM
Why do you people decide to invest into Bitcoin cloud mining without reading even bare basics of crypto economy. What kind of question is that? You have never heard about mining difficulty?
What do you think why all of us arent billionaires by now?

Crypto mining is a very difficulty, money and time intensive business. If it would be that easy, if it only would be that easy....
939  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: is there any site that pay btc to watch video? on: May 10, 2017, 01:24:27 PM
m looking for a site that pay btc to watch video...suggest me if u have any Smiley
1. http://vidybit.com/ - Through Xapo only
2. https://www.free4faucet.com/ptc/youtube/ - Haven't tested this but just so you know.

Take note: You're going to waste a lot of time and effort for a little reward (even faucets pay more).

6 satoshi per video?Huh That s fucking terribly low. Who would even consider using something like that?
940  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN NEXT HALVING - From 12.5 to 6.25 in less than 3 years on: May 10, 2017, 10:28:09 AM
I see BTC at 10k by the time of next halving. 6 figures, as someone suggested is a bit too optimistic.
