So far the collated feedback for stage 1 of the beta testing is: - Change the chat background - Swap out the painting background to something more readable in the chat window
- Private chat - Click a user to enter a private chat with them
- Clickable links - Make http links clickable in the chat window
- Persistent Username - Save username so you dont need to login every time you open the wallet
- Post date - Display the time of the post in the chat window
- Character limit - Max character limit for each post to prevent chat flooding
- Post limit - Max post per second rate with warning or potentially kick message to prevent chat flooding
Have I missed anything? Please post any additions. These will be prioritized and assessed on their difficulty and necessity. Some may or may not be possible at this stage, but we will endeavour to meet all reasonable requests of the community. Cheers, Pakage Stage 1 Beta Feedback Scenario 1: I have logged into chat BUT I go back to the overview tab ( cause I like looking at how much NAV I have ). I leave it on overview screen - Does the talk button flash if someone private chats me or send a request to have one , or will I always need to manually click TALK CODE to know I have been sent a request. When clicking on the other TABS outside of TALK CODE a plain white back ground is perfect and easy on the eye like the Original Wallet with the NAVOJOCOIN SYMBOL looks awesome. The Yellow Grainy one make it look a bit cheap . The quality of the website and its background and color theme is fantastic if the wallet can visually reflect that theme would be a step in the right direction. When you click on the Transactions TAB in the beta wallet looks really good visually. Addition - In the Exchanges TAB can we add Crptsy Exchange Addition - When I mine coins I would like to see how many coins I mined without doing a calculation - Can this be added in Overview . Would like to get an instant smile . Instead my brains goes I wonder how much NAV I have mined it's always a mystery for me as I can't be bothered doing it. Just a side note I'm not a believer of encrypted chat but am a believer of encrypted transactions but that's another topic and forum. I like the idea of seeing how many coins got staked last 24h ! Yes always pulling it to excel and calculate is boring

the chat has to have a flood protection. I tried and was able post much of shit in short time to disturb chat without getting blocked for some minutes or whatever. perhaps regulate by counting amount of posts per second/minute. otherwise I already can see people using this to generate big data streams ... or whatever. edit: and the amount of letter send at one time should be only like two full lines, not hundrets. regards sds

Hi Guys, just a quick update from me.
I'm starting to help Soopy apply some of the feedback from the Beta testing to the wallet.
We're also in the process of recruiting another dev to help with some of the syncing issues with polo and cryptsy.
This is going to free up Soopy to continue working on the anon features of the chat and the coin itself.
You will start to see a ramping up of development speed with 3 of us on the project.
Hopefully the fact that I've started helping on the coin development will restore some confidence.
I have worked hard to bring you the website and I'm committed to helping however I can on the coin development.
Cheers, pakage
That's right guys, pakage is helping us with improving beta client and Remy_5 with the final sorting out the sync issue. We are very pleased and grateful to have such an amazing and supportive Community. It will help us finish these tasks much faster. Have a great weekend everyone, thank You for Your great support and stay tuned! Best Regards! - Navajo Coin Development Team; soopy452000It is really impressing how nice this community is! And it's astonishing cryptsy is still holding NAV on hold and did not skip the addition over this period of time! perhaps cryptsy is awaiting something big

Very happy Today Ok I don't understand why someone wants to sell 300k + NAV in one go in a slow altcoin market - really ? Seriously ? Really ? The NAV community on Bittrex is responding to all the good news BUT man you aint gonna sell that amount in one go any time soon. if we spread the buy options in makes it easier for the value to move up and also for the small traders to make a little cash. This is not BITCOIN yet and we will get there. Stop trying to sell 100,000 + even . I would really suggest 10K blocks would be much better for everyone. All you are doing is forcing the price down and de -valueing a great coin in development. What do you guys think? Yeah When Anon comes 100,000K blocks will sell easy and dam fast. But Now? Dont think so . ~hashforce101~ But do as you wish its your NAV Just a thought only. Have an awesome weekend uh i have some btc over.. i will take some

yeah whole altcoin industry seems quiet today.
but hashforce, i know you mean well, but if you make plans like this you need to be the front guy. so you should start adding at least a 1 btc buy order or something similar.
now, at moment you have chosen yourself, you arent even online....
and again i know you mean well but this way you only harm this coin...
@sum2dev, any news on the beta fase?
this is true. both times I did not realize big movements in the order book. I set my buy orders and went to sleep, but seems like everybody is watching, nobody sets orders. We really need the big update to make some movements and to gain more publicity. Outshine darksend

Does anyone know if there is anything I can do about this issue:
EVERYTIME the system that is running the Navajo wallet CRASHES(power outages, freezes), I have to re-download the WHOLE blockchain.
I get some error(didn't write it down) and then another unhandled exception error, and then wallet closes.
I tried -rescan and it does the same thing.
Do I need to back up the blockchain often or what?
Windows or linux?

Everything here looks nice, big plans from dev, good communication lately, but does dev have any ideas how to bring some investors attention to this coin? Last time even big news didn't rise volume and price much.
i think most of them will wait till all beta is finished and when wallet with anon transactions and messaging goes live. we have to get to cryptsy and mint...this will bring attention

I've noticed the first page got really messy, so I tried to tidy it up a bit. Improvements include restructuring the entire post, adding a fully functional anchor based navigation, making heavy use of the table BBcode (for easier updating) and some rephrasing / corrected grammatical errors. Tell me what you think (but mind your tone, I'm not a designer / creative person). this is awesome! Yes the frontpage looks a bit messy right now. Nothing sits in place Where did you get the richlist? I would love to take a look at it.

come on guys lets donate to soopy.....No ipo no premine....We need to support our dev..I will donate .03 btc who can match me... yes we need to support our dev! so come on guys!
|
|
|
i have been buying some today as well (also a lot during pump yesterday), i try to get the volume to 20btc+ today
Great man, we have 22 BTC today we made it on the first page! hope we are getting more attention now.

Nice going dev!! Will be trying the wallet later @hashforce et al , I'm impressed granted the price didn't skyrocket but going from 1 to 14 BTC volume is massive. Volume is a lot more desirable than high value at this point. Good job guys! this is true. it's a nice fundament! Also it gained some publicity and perhaps some new coin holders

now the website can not wait. like a small child

So doaes this use the same Appdata Folder?
Do we need to look at something or just download and start?
There is a different appdata folder for this beta client, so now worries, You can go ahead and start
Good Job devs! 1 question, does all other functions like stake etc work? So that i can replace my wallet to this beta version? Does send/receive etc work ( on the normall way? )?
Thank You! No, this is the beta client so these functions doesn't work in this one. Since we will most probably change some things, there isn't much sense to make it a new version on NAV wallet for now. We will do it after ending the Beta Testings, when we will release the final, ready & syncing wallet with these features Cheers so can we make something here? How to start? Or just let it open to have some connections? send me a beta coin! NSUPq9A9Qd5GdyXBKCmmaYkg7bWqdoMsYg That is a beta client my friend. It is right now only for testing new features/improving/changing etc. - no transactions or syncing for now. The new feature works perfectly without syncing. That's why it's called Beta Testings Ok, first thing to change is the background picture, or make it changeable. cause you cannot see the black text over dark background
