As promised the link for the ebay auction can be found here The price is higher on ebay to compensate for the cost of paypal taking a cut and then the cost of converting USD to BTC so if you want to save some money it would be cheaper bidding here, but ebay also offers buyers and sellers protection so the choice is yours.
931  Economy / Auctions / Re: [Auction] CryptoVest Special First Edition Physical Litecoin LOADED With 2 LTC!! on: May 11, 2014, 01:36:01 AM
While I understand that I implore you to just research this coin a bit first it is very high quality and extremely rare if you change your mind you know where to find me Wink
932  Economy / Auctions / Re: [Auction] CryptoVest Special First Edition Physical Litecoin LOADED With 2 LTC!! on: May 11, 2014, 01:30:27 AM
Negative, it is a discontinued Cryptovest Special First Edition Physical Litecoin that is a Zinc - Metal Alloy. It is one of only eight hundred ever produced and is loaded with two LTC. Cryptovest is no longer producing physical lite coins of any kind so this coin will only continue to get much rarer then it already is.
933  Economy / Auctions / Re: [Auction] CryptoVest Special First Edition Physical Litecoin LOADED With 2 LTC!! on: May 11, 2014, 01:16:06 AM
I will be posting this coin up on ebay as well as leaving it up here, where ever the first bid occurs is where I will be leaving it up and I will withdraw it from the non - bid holding market. As soon as it is up I will link to the page where you may find it on ebay if you prefer to buy it there. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to message me.
934  Economy / Economics / Re: IRS says mining is "income" (40% tax) instead of cap. gains (20% tax) on: May 10, 2014, 11:43:16 PM
Yes Since income tax is based on your AMOUNT OF INCOME where the hell did you get the 40% tax rate from? That would only apply to people making $406k+ a year selling BTC Anyway and how about a link to where ever you are getting this info from instead of just spreading baseless fear and attempting to induce market instability
935  Economy / Goods / Re: Market Testing on: May 10, 2014, 10:03:50 PM
so these silver ones are not pure silver correct, and does any know who sells pure gold bitcoins?

.999 fine silver, yes.

These are Bitcoin Specie, from the Bitcoin Specie Project.
We are working on the gold versions as well as different sizes of the silver.  Please expect these shortly.
There is a more detailed explanation of the goals of the Project at the link in my sig, but the essence of it is to create a useful pocket change for Bitcoin.
There is no bitcoin stored in them (in the same way that there are no dollars stored within silver dollars)
The value does fluctuate with the prices of silver and bitcoin and is continuously available at Coldhardca.sh (that is where the QR on the specie silver piece takes you).  The premium over silver is also listed there and you can see by changing the quantity that it decreases.  This is to encourage distribution for those that buy in high quantity and sell or use in small quantity.  This activity is rewarded by its pricing mechanism.
Pricing is competitive with the national pieces such as Silver Eagles, but our quality is higher, and they are more collectible.

In the endgame, we will contend with many issues.  One of these is the volume of transactions hitting the block chain.  The block chain is an expense to bitcoin.  Use of pocket change for small in person payments as an off block-chain transaction helps to reduce the cost of the bitcoin currency.

Additionally, these are purely anonymous and not pseudononymous.  Cash and carry type transactions can be easily facilitated with them as a store of value.

Also in the endgame, our expectation is that bitcoin will not have the volatility that it has currently, increasing the utility of these.

The project started last year at the Spring Bitcoin Foundation conference and so is only a year old.  It is not profitable (there are still too few bitcoin folks, and too spread out).  Nevertheless, we will persist in the effort and welcome those who would join the project.  There are many opportunities.

Beware, there are some counterfeits but they are easy to distinguish if you know what to look for (the one pictured is not a counterfeit).

Wow awesome thanks for all the info (and the validation of the coin I have) I will be watching this project closely and supporting this anyway I can
