921  Economy / Services / Re: .249 BTC stuck in DGEX web wallet, split the difference with you on: December 03, 2014, 09:20:20 PM
Solution: Contact the support . Did they not respond?

have had endless attempts to get help, they initially taught me how to use my master key to create a new wallet, but after that no response for months.
ACtually, I tried depositing a small amount, and can not send the amount of there. It shows my remaining balance as -ve.
They might have disabled it.
EDIT: Might be due to unconfirmed transaction for me, Let me update you when it confirms.
EDIT2 : Not able to get out the small amount I sent there . It shows available balance as 0 as well.

Oh yea that's makes since. I was only asking because I wasn't for sure how it works.
How do I know if I'm in the December campaign?
There is another thread for it, and you had to register again to be reenrolled.

Spaces went very quickly on that campaign. If you're not signed up already I doubt you'll be able to join. Don't worry though as I've got a feeling they'll be one in January too!
There will hopefully be also many new campaign this month, looking at all the contest for signature creation.

Its Holiday season, and a lot of new businesses tend to launch around now.

Also, try creating a new wallet(select create new wallet on the site). And select the option to enter your own passkey. Put in the master key of your existing wallet,
and chose the option to print it out. After that try and import it into another wallet platform.

EDIT: I think you already tried this.

Have you looked at all wallet addresses?
There is also an option to go to the next wallet page to see other addresses. Might be in one of them .
I am new to it as well, couldn't find the sending option.

Maybe you can make something with the bitcoin logo/icon on it.
Hopefully, you will get much more interest for those on the forum.

Looks like SAcramento lost. Good thing, I didn't bet.
Unfortunately, the others were losses too except for one.

Yes, your instinct was right here Cheesy

Yup I did get lucky on that. Still down about 4 units in the last 2 betting session tips.

Lets hope good for the future Smiley

I am new to sports betting, and am just trying the bets out.
For the one you mentioned above:

Toronto Raptors v Sacramento Kings Game: Sacramento Kings +1.5 1.942 (-106)

on Nitrogen, all bets for Sacramento Kings are maximum +0, and rest are -ve.
What would you suggest in this case?

Yes I saw the same an hour ago. Meanwhile it has changed again and Sacramento Kings +1 is now available for 1.881 (-113).

If you have good trust in the tip, you can do the +1.

The line difference: let say the Sacramento Kings lose with 189-190 you get a push and your money back. The people that bet on the the pick earlier (for +1.5) wins the bet. If the Kings lose with a difference of 2, everyone loses.

Price difference: if the kings wins: you get a pay out of 1.881 * your stake (stake included) and the the people that have chosen the pick earlier gets a pay out of  1.942 * their stake (stake included).

So, Sacramento Kings +1 vs the original tip: price is worse and the line is worse, but again if you have faith, you can do it.

Looks like SAcramento lost. Good thing, I didn't bet.
Unfortunately, the others were losses too except for one.

I just think, that this idea would work better with other IM apps.
Snapchat had introduced SnapCash, and just like that having this integrated into them would be cool.
I don't see my friends using SendChat soon, as they are already using the other ones.
931  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When your competition takes notice.... on: December 02, 2014, 11:32:22 PM
every big company will notice sooner or later that they have to use bitcoin
That will definitely happen. Pokerstars is also going to be accepting bitcoin soo enough,
Definitely a big step for bitcoin in payment processing.

15K for an apple app development is too much. You could get a really good app under 5K .
934  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When your competition takes notice.... on: December 02, 2014, 01:46:21 PM
They already sort of admit that Bitcoin has the potential to overtake their service.

Large companies must know that they don't have to fight against new technologies.

There are already banks and other financial institutes who are researching the possibilities of the blockchain.

What would be the need for that, if bitcoin already has it?
935  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it possible that 1 BTC be worth $2,000 by the end of 2015? on: December 02, 2014, 11:07:57 AM
I think $2,000 is a bit too high, maybe $500

500$ can be made in this month i think, cuz we have holidays coming this can maybe influence on price

I guess the effect the holidays will have will be nullified by the auction happening this month.
Also, I don't think the holidays would guarantee prices to swing up. Maybe, some people might cash out to spend on their holidays, which could lead to the opposite.
936  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Start-up business and Bitcoin... on: December 02, 2014, 10:37:25 AM
Hello,

Until recently I had only vaguely heard of Bitcoin but during the course of starting up a new business we came across a web developer who requested to be paid in Bitcoin, thus marking my nose first dive into all things Bitcoin. I'm still incredibly new with all of it and at first it was more than a little overwhelming but I'm learning more and more and plan to continue doing so.

On to my first point, I was wondering if anyone had a strategy for buying Bitcoin... it seems to be a bit volatile to me so come on guys, what's the secret? Money is a little tight and I'm finding the fluctuations either cause quite a thrill or a sinking depression. Any advice?

Lastly, we're considering accepting Bitcoin in our new business. It's a largely online venture and it seems to be a good option for Bitcoin but I'm not sure if my excitement is getting the better of me, are there any intricacies or major complications for businesses and Bitcoin? Especially come tax time or maybe something else altogether I'm not thinking of?

Thanks for taking the time,
Grant

I think that right now is very good time to buy Bitcoins, because price is very low.
Generally, when price is low, it's always good time to buy and sell later, when price id higher Smiley
Regarding taxes, if you do bank wire, I guess, you will have to pay taxes but if you cash out your BTC at Bitcoin ATM, you don't need to pay anything.

Well you never can't say what price is low or what price is high.
even when prices were at 320 before, it wasn;t certain if this is the lowest.I guess its upto you to decide, if you want to hold on to them and take the risk,
or do you want no risk while accepting bitcoins.
937  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: December 02, 2014, 10:11:17 AM
when bot all in all they always wins how's this possible ? i think seals should ban agrov for sure

They don't always win, it just seems that way due to a small set of data. But they do play "smart" because they aren't subjected to emotions like we are, so it doesn't impact their play. With that said, I'm a bit iffy on how I feel about bots. Once you get down that someone is using one, they are pretty easy to manipulate.

If you consider the tournament side, then a bot is more successful than at the cash game table.

Like don4u pointed it out, bots sit out on all bad hands, and sit in when they are on BB.

This does give them some sort of advantage and gets them to the later stages of the tourney.

If small number of people are playing, then they can easily reach ITM.

"because market depth of exchanges is not too big."

Another advice: never leave unused money at exchanges, withdraw them immediatelly, if you do not intend some active trading, which is not your goal anyways.

Use a new public address for every transaction in which you receive bitcoin.
I like Electrum for cold storage.

Electrum, and armory would be great to create multiple addresses and storing your coins.
939  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What did you buy on Bitcoin Black Friday? on: December 02, 2014, 10:02:33 AM
I did look at the Newegg deals but didn't buy anything either. I also wished i had not bought trezor last month.

It would have been an awesome discount.

If there will be 100% buyback as in DarkSwift http://darkswift.icohive.com/ count me in.

That looked like more of an attempt to promote another coin ICO thats happening.

Nah - I never invested in it. But i love the concept and would gladly invest if there will be trusted escrow.

Well it seems risky. Only 3 investors have invested the 3 big values. Most likely the coin dev himself, to show some action.
