922  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many Bitcoins are lost forever? on: September 11, 2015, 01:44:57 PM
Thanks for sharing. Interesting story Undecided This is really bad for the guy who lost them.

Someone have lost 40 BTC to this address: https://blockchain.info/address/1111111111111111111114oLvT2 2 days ago... That address already had 3 BTC balance there before (but some are from 2010/2011 when BTC price was low, and people burn them maybe for fun), but someone have burned ~9.5k$ worth now... (The story of that address is here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=237143.0)

Do you think it will ever get back in circulation?

Never. You can see that cant move once it's deposited there. Unable to decode output address
923  Economy / Auctions / Re: Senior Member account Auction. on: September 11, 2015, 01:35:33 PM
Your starting bid to high   Roll Eyes

At the moment It is full member account, next week (on Tuesday) will become Sr.member.
924  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: September 11, 2015, 01:25:57 PM
i recommend just saving up every bitcoin you earn and just forget about it. in a couple of months, the stash gets pretty big

That's the best advice that i hear today, thank you, that is "investing in your self"
925  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you wish you could buy with btc ? on: September 10, 2015, 06:45:21 PM
tickets to any kind of transport all around the world

Yeah, it would be great if we can buy the transport ticket with bitcoin but this is not possible now and not even in closer time. To purchase such tickets, Bitcoins needs to be approved and regulated by government, it has to be accepted universally as a mode of payment. Many countries are still not in favor of Bitcoins. But I would use bitcoins for online shopping only.

If you really stuck there then it is a solution but indirect by having a bitcoin debit card and purchase ticked will be easily.
926  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do Newbies (or Anyone) Enjoy Paid Bitcoin Tasks? on: September 10, 2015, 06:34:42 PM
there was a time when I used to surf 20faucets in 1hour a day and only twice a day which yealds me about 0.01btx from the faucets per week and after that I came to bitcointalk community

If 0.01 is per day then it is good for only 1hour a day but weekly it's really a waste of time, i am happy when i see people get out of faucet.
927  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst mistake you did with Bitcoin? on: September 10, 2015, 06:33:10 PM
My worst mistake(s)

1. Buying mining equipment instead of bitcoins. So I bought a computer first with 2 x 6990 ATI Radeon, which was cool as nobody knew wtf was gonna happen to bitcoin anyway. SO if it all came crashing down I would still have at least a cool gaming machine

2. I then mined on MtRed and left 20 bitcoins in there. THey shot up in value, and MtRed folded suspiciously. I only got 10 Btc out. 10 BTC gone

3. Then when ASIC race was on I bought 7 ASIC machines from Tom....luckily, as planned, on credit card. No way was I gonna send Bitcoin. As it happened they folded, I reversed the transaction (about 8000USD) and I got most of my money back minus interest. If I had bought 8000USD worth of Bitcoin then I would not be an employee anymore lol. THink I would have about 1000 btc right now. Not the world of a fortune but enough to "retire" and do my own thing safely.

4. I've done something else but cannot recall right now. Probably scarred for life lol.

5 Oh yeah and I left a couple of bitcoins on Blockchain. I go and check and exactly one Bitcoin is one. Freaking weird. Got them in a safe place now. Still don't know what happened.

The first mistake is very common, better to use that rig for other things, and hopefully 3) you got your money back.
928  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I trust BTC exchanges? on: September 10, 2015, 06:29:01 PM
Trust no one in Bitcoin industry, both services and individuals.
Never do business without escrow.
Never save your money in exchanges. Only put your money/btc when you want to trade and withdraw immediately when your trade is finished.

indeed. Even if a exchange or online wallet looks safe there us always a change for a hack.

Even the offline wallet was hacked, if you have heard for brainwallet then you should think twice Smiley

Well said if we are strict in these steps then our bitcoin is safe enough Smiley

Do you have any experience with them? I would like to hear if any, i am looking too if they are good.

I do actually, used their service about 7 times in the past 8 months.

Never had any issues, goods arrived promptly, good communication from he team. Even orders consisting of multiple different items went through without a problem Smiley

Then i am going to use to try firstly with a cheap item and so on Smiley thanks for notifying us.

if there'll be a website like microworkers.com then yes. I can do tasks  for btc.

Check out bitcoinget.com.

Just checked this website bitcoinget.com, but seems that there are not many offers in surveys.
935  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst mistake you did with Bitcoin? on: September 10, 2015, 01:42:48 PM
For now, the worst has been investing 0.02 in a HYP then the site dissapeared.

Also have lost some (but less) investing on cloud mining sites.

May i know which HYIP was that? Most of them pay in their beginning but after a time they start scamming.
936  Economy / Services / Re: Coinoindex.com - Signature Campaign! [FULL] on: September 10, 2015, 01:04:51 PM
Payment received as normal again. However, the rate still shows 0.001. Good that you are looking into it! Would be shitty if you have to adjust it manually every week Wink

That's really an extra work every week, that's why i suggested to update directly in database if there is any.
937  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: HonestDoubler.com - 100% IN 100 HOURS - 15% REF - FREE GIVEAWAYS INSIDE! on: September 10, 2015, 12:22:47 AM
Btw. that 1 btc invested is not related to us.

I promis you that this program will have only one possible end. And that is the end by payout of the last satoshi to the investors. We are not interested in run away with your investments. If we wanted to do so, we would do it after 3-4 days. But not after putting our sweat and blood into this program and keeping it alive for now 18 days.

Bealive it or not, but that is our plan! Because we are the only honest doubler!
