581  Economy / Speculation / Re: We will break $200 again on: October 04, 2015, 06:54:10 PM
It will happen.

I'm a long term bull. But in the short to medium term. We are generally going down. Best case (side ways for a while).

Probably hit $133 or so.

Just my smooth-cents.  Grin

Well not very optimistic thought you have there, and I'm sure the value of it will rise soon, lets just be hopeful and continue believing in it.

Well i think the opposite what smoothie is pretending.
The price normally should increase at least from the next year.
Because there will be a 50% less in reward from the block.

I think statistically and with marketing stock trend and all that jaz, its more likely to see it drop quite a bit before it stabilize and truly start slowly raising. And also there's always normal up and downs. Saying there will be no more downs is kind of. Impossible :S

The drops will be always with us lol, but in generally i hope to see it that the price will increase.
Ups and downs but at the end the price to be more than it is now. (~240 USD)
Maybe we will reach again ~$200 but it should be also a jump.
582  Other / Archival / Re: Pictures of your mining rigs! on: October 04, 2015, 06:45:24 PM
@philipma1957 can you sleep in the same room with you mining rig?
Aren't those noisy to sleep in front of them, btw i like your rigs.
@valkir well it can be for fun, but i like when it is also for profit Smiley

I was thinking the same thing. Mining rigs generate a lot of energy, I can't imagine being able to sleep with the massive noise/heat just feet away from my head. Lol if I was a miner and that were my set up I wouldn't even want to ROI, it wouldn't be worth the lack of sleep imo.

I can't sleep with my pc or laptop ON, neither when i leave them at 100% so solve anything(or mining).
About the high energy (heat) that have these it's not much problem.
Mostly miners put their mining rigs on another clear room, or in garage.
583  Other / Off-topic / Re: What would you do with 100Btc? on: October 04, 2015, 06:16:43 PM
The first suggestion that i have in mind is to invest somewhere.
But due to high risk and a lots of scam nowadays it is very risky and i don't think to invest anywhere.
I think holding them would be good, as i believe that the price will go higher in the next year.
584  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: October 04, 2015, 06:15:02 PM
Lending bitcoin would be passive way of getting our bitcoins to grow. Because in this way bitcoin makes bitcoins. So, the possibility of getting more bitcoin is higher than any other method.

Lending job is not very easy now days, there are may stammers are around so you can't believe any one so easily. They will prepare all those fake id's and accounts to get the loans. So one should be careful before lending without any collaterals.

collateral is there for you, without collateral i would do any lending, but with a good collateral like their account, you are safe, you can always sell if to someone

I think that to stay safe you should take account as the collateral as 120-150% of the total loan.

Because not every time you can sell the accounts for the price that you lent the loan.

Is it allowed for long term loan when taking the account as collateral to use it and start earning from campaigns or it is against the rules?

What kind of asshole move is that?  I sure as hell wouldn't want someone writing posts on my account while it was being used as collateral for a loan. The account is to sell in case of default, not as a tool for making the lender some extra money.

Well there are some loans for long term, so in that case i was thinking is it allowed or not to use that collateral for personal use.

Of if you have alt coins (like DOGE) and is it allowed to sell for a higher price and then buy when it is low and give back to the user.
585  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: do you believe with bitcoin on: October 04, 2015, 06:12:12 PM
I believe that bitcoin will be more popular in the near future.
At least a +100% of the price in the next few years.
I expect a good jump at July of 2016 when the block reward is 12.5BTC
586  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How earn 1BTC a year? on: October 04, 2015, 06:08:27 PM
With faucets itself you can make 1BTC in a year. But you need to stick with your computer almost 16 hours per day.

I don't know that I believe that even.  The pay is really really bad.  I always say pennies for hours of work.   Unless your counting on winning one of the "jackpots".  I guess some might possible make it with it being over 5600 hours.   But I still think each one of those hours brings pennies which is sad way to spend all that time.

How much did you say you would make per hour in your equation when you came up with it being doable in a year?

I can attest that at first I spent 16 hrs, approx to get 1/3 of anything useful, like 1 DOLLAR USD! I can't believe the time and ludicrousness of that all. Gez, but all have to start somewhere. Never again...  Just. Nope. NO 16 hrs for 35 cents a day for several days. Nope. I noped out and INVESTED in starter fodder, as above.

I was a SAD infant of BTC at the time.

It is horrible on faucet pay.  I'm honestly surprised they are so popular on some.  I can understand a few times for a little to try bitccoins.

But honestly you would be better off buying even 5 dollars of BTC to play with.  That 5 dollars will save you a pretty insane amount of time.   And you can use it online.   I suggest buying over faucet's any day.   And use that time you saved to read and understand bitcoin.  In long term you will be much better off this way.

Other than earning very small amount from faucets, it's really pathetic on some faucets cheat on us just by getting impressions without paying anything, just not refilling their account and makes us to visit them frequently to check them for a payout.

You should know that most of popular faucets are attacked of bots.
This increase the impression count and these can result as false statistics.
1BTC a year is possible through signature campaigns and avatar campaign too.
587  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Most Secure bitcoin wallet ? on: October 04, 2015, 06:03:09 PM
https://www.coinbase.com
very trusted
coinbase certificate http://prntscr.com/8knpe2

If you mean about the encrypted link between a server and a client then most of the websites nowadays have implemented SSL.
It makes their website secure but the OP is asking about the wallet how secure is it, but coinbase wallets are not much secured.
They can be shut down at any time that the coinbase can be offline or out of the market, so your don't possess in your hand.

The thing that is suppose to stop it with coinbase is it in insured - https://support.coinbase.com/customer/portal/articles/1662379-how-is-coinbase-insured-

From what I get out of it if you alone lose bitcoins it is not covered.  But if somehow site is hacked or employee did it and big money is gone it should be insured.  Hopefully this is never tested out... but there is at least something there.
That's the great news. So our coins within coinbase is secured from any hack. Now I feel free to use coinbase for my hot wallet purpose.

It is enough secure but it does not make completetly safe.
Because it depends also and from you, a strong password.
Also implementing the two factor authentication which increase the security level.
588  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I trust BTC exchanges? on: October 04, 2015, 05:49:29 PM
I think we've mostly past the worst of the exchange problems akin to mt.gox. The remaining exchanges have a certain level of competitive edge seeing as they are the ones that survived the onslaught.

Early technology much like the internet itself is full of risks and pirates everywhere, but eventually things will improve for the better.

The security is the main part of every new exchange.
It is the most sensitive part and we have seen many hacks that have been made these past few years.
I also don't trust much the current exchange, but i leave on them a small amount to trade in alt coins.
589  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How long did it take you to earn your first Bitcoin? on: October 04, 2015, 05:44:29 PM
giveaway i like that, never try to use faucet, any body know what is the best faucet here ?

It is really hard to earn 1BTC from giveaways neither from faucets, only if you were using them in the beginning of bitcoin (few years before).

About the best faucets and a list of them i would suggest to check my avatar link and you can calculate yourself if it worth for you needs, good luck.

Yes, from faucets it's impossible to get 1BTC in a year too. We may achieve 1BTC milestone in a period of 10 years. I do not have 1BTC yet. I believe from gambling I can make 1BTC in short time.

If we were in the beginning of bitcoin in its early stage,
Then we could easily earn 1BTC from faucets, as the reward in these faucets was very high.

i think 3-4 hours after making my wallet (and learning about bitcoin)
from bitvisitor Smiley

Bitvisitor pays just to less, from what period of time are you talking about, because now they pay just few satoshi per visit.

Is there any bug on the faucet website?
I try to put my bitcoin address to the field, i press enter but nothing happens
Is this still faucet still alive, because to me it does not work properly.
Just click the text (6 sentences) between the ads talking about bots, then the claim button will appear.

I have noticed that is not the problem here.
Just disabled the adblock and the human captachas appeared there.
That text that you are talking about is text ads and does not solve this issue.
592  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: October 04, 2015, 05:32:40 PM
Sounds fun, but I have a real life job that has to pay the bills, unfortunately! Sad

Well, if you main purpose is to pay bills that is possible with bitcoin too.
It's all about the income in bitcoins, it is it good then it can be done through bitcoin debit cards.
There are many of them but there are some high and low fee like bit-x, xapo etc.

This setup is of

my 20 sidehack/novac/compac sticks

set at freq 200 running debian 7.7 on an intel 4570t cpu machine. Along with a node.

19 sticks on a modded stud hub

the 20th stick uses a y cable and 2 ports of the pc

I drilled a hole on the heat sink. I hung the stick by the psu's exhaust since the pc only runs the sticks and a node the psu exhaust works well to cool the 20th stick.

I see mess of cables, but still better than nothing.
May i know what are your daily or monthly earning.
Have you reached the ROI or you are still waiting Tongue.

598  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] [HIGHEST PAY] COINUT.COM ★ Signature Campaign ★ Pay per post ★ Weekly ★ on: October 04, 2015, 03:48:05 PM
Well thanks for the payment but one question why the payments goest to coinut instead were we wanna the money ? this only make us waste some satoshis into the fees.

Last time i received the full payment without any deducted fee.
I think that coinut covers the fee, as the last time there was a batch of payment.
So don't worry about that, i requested to withdrawal too.

600  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a way to earn at least $1 in BTC per hour? on: October 04, 2015, 03:11:23 PM
Of course I don't mean BTC Casinos or similar things. I know you can earn but can lose there as well.

As I know no. For less than this amount (0.0007 bitcoin) you can join my signature campaign which have open places now. But if your post are goods and you have an good story of those. As for me this amount is not bad. You can do unlimited posts so more post do more earn. No maximal limit.

That's a good opportunity, if you are a good writer then this is for you.
I think that this signature campaign is the only one that has no maximum limit in post counts.
But there are also and others but there are limits. Another opportunity is joining avatar campaigns monthly.
