9221  Economy / Services / Re: CryptoDirectories.com Banner Slot For Rent on: November 11, 2020, 01:21:25 PM
on top, you have 4 slots which is too much in so little space.
I agree. It is the first thing that I've noticed when I've visited this directory. A little adjustment and putting it on the center would do the job. And at the bottom of the page, there were a lot of ad slots which I think is too much. Don't get it wrong but it's just an opinion of mine. You can use the right side space of the page for the scroll/cursor to lessen those ads that are placed side by side at the bottom.
9222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Risks Of Bitcoin Going To Zero Has Gotten More Lower Than Ever on: November 11, 2020, 11:27:38 AM
I'm one of those people that have sold at different prices but never did panicked when it was $3k. I'm one of those holders that remained faithful of holding bitcoin because I did believed that it will recover. Waited for just a year and have seen that it had recovered and was getting into a better price. The maturity of the market and the investors as going together. We're learning the simplest technique of holding and that's not to panic even if someone popular says that it's going down to the lowest or zero.

I neither sold at $3k but man, sometimes it's just OK to be scared. We know bitcoin is decentralized and not controlled by anyone but that doesn't save its volatile nature. Sometimes, the fear isn't the loss, the fear is about needing the investment before the price spikes up again. What if it drops to $3k again and never goes back up until 3years?  Maybe to you, you'd wait. But some people didn't plan to wait that long.
It's the others problem that you're giving as an example but given with the experience and pattern that we can see for bitcoin, I doubt it that we'll get to see those low prices again. This is way much better than those stocks of a company that can be dumped by its owners which is going to be more annoying and unacceptable. As you have said, bitcoin is decentralized so someone who's going to invest on it have to understand that it's either going up or down and he has to spare his feeling of being scared. If this ain't for him, he should look for lower risk investments.

Post the update on the thread but as you're expecting, that's likely to happen but counter the force by thinking positive that it won't. I'm curious too how much he have bet before hitting it.
i'm curious too but sadly, we don't know how much he lose before he hit that, but 1 thing for sure, it's huge hit.
It would be nice if he accidentally sees this thread and we're talking about him. But hitting with that amount, there's a bigger chance that he became consistent and probably spent a lot of money before that beautiful win.

This is my second day of trying a big multiplier (100,000x) with minimum bet (100 sats) at Boom (ten rolls yesterday, five rolls today). As expected, it's a loss . I'm probably going to do this for 30 days straight out of fun and wish that lady luck comes Grin
Good luck doing that. Pushing the positivite energy on your side.   Grin

While there are still lot of discussion about US election's bet , fire69120 still hunting for huge multipler in Boom game!
Do you want to try to hit like him? Go to Bitsler and join us right now
Fire69120 is on fire. What a such lucky person.

^ Those are great hits. I don't remember seeing that multiplier when I was playing boom. I wonder how much he spent before that?

I might try that game again and experiment on a $5 bankroll with lesser bets. There's a higher chance I'll get burned but we'll see.

There will be several panicking if the price even close lower than $5k or even at $10k.

What panic can be greater than that of this year? When bitcoin was about $3K. A lot of people believe in bitcoin and I can say I'm one of them. While people were panicking and selling at $3K, some people were still holding and believing, while some were even buying from weak hands. What happened this year is quite a lesson of volatility. From $3K to $15K. So if it goes down to $5K, people will see this year's story as a reason not to panic.
I'm one of those people that have sold at different prices but never did panicked when it was $3k. And if there are still people thinking that bitcoin can go to zero, those are the investors that have missed buying bitcoin a lot during the bearish. They became unattended and focused more with their emotion and that's why missed a lot. Yes, bitcoin's always volatile but looking at it to become zero or close to zero is highly unlikely. There will be several panicking if the price even close lower than $5k or even at $10k. We've seen that for several times but, bitcoin just proven to be resilient and a strong asset.
9227  Economy / Economics / Re: Biden and Cryoto on: November 10, 2020, 07:20:27 PM
How do we speculate if bitcoin and crypto shall prosper under the Biden administration than it does under Trump administration.

What are your views?
Whoever is the US president, crypto will keep establishing itself and its price is inevitable to increase. One of the biggest reason and factor is the halving and also the mass adoption that we're seeing lately in the news. Those two are sufficient to see the increase in demand and by the end of it will result to a greater price. There could be some changes if Biden gets an eye on crypto and whichever he decides to do, negative or positive, there will be a temporary effect.

A new website to me but why is it that the sorting of their options, faqs and other things under the page isn't inline together. About KYC, you can read their FAQ. I'm trying to understand it but other natives might understand it better.

Is the passport verification required?
The Administration may request your documents verification in order to ascertain that you are over 18 y.o., that you don't have any other accounts with us or due to other reasons.

To pass the verification you will need to go to your Account and then to the section Verification

No verification with documents is required for playing for real money.

9229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An Indian boy committed suicide after losing money by Betting in IPL on: November 09, 2020, 10:45:50 PM
What a tragic incident. He's still a boy for his age of 19 and that's why he thought that doing things such as borrowing money for recovery with his losses is the right thing to do. Things like this are unstoppable but I hope that the new gamblers are responsible enough to read terrible incidents like this so that they can have an idea what they should do when they are betting all of their money. I wish that it won't be followed by another news like this.  Undecided
I also want to criticize people who pressurize others to pay the debts and loans because if the person you lent money suicides not only you live with a sin for the rest of your life but you also lose the money he might have paid back the money slowly. There are people who will create pressure and traumatize others to pay their debt but never understand what the other person is going through.

I remember an incident where a person near our house had a big loan from someone who was into illegal activities and he caused so much stress that he was forced to suicide but what followed was very shocking, he left a suicide note and mentioned everything about the criminal who lent him money and he was actually caught, all his illegal activities were seized and he was sentenced for many years.
We can't blame the lenders if they are losing patience for the payment of the borrower. If it's already too much from the given due date, it only means that a borrower isn't that responsible enough to take debts. We also have to understand the situation of the lenders because the fact that they have lent money, they are giving you the trust that soon you'll pay. Just be a responsible gambler and borrower but the best is don't take loans for the purpose of gambling.
9230  Economy / Exchanges / Re: what is the best trading brokers for BTC on: November 09, 2020, 09:25:20 PM
AFAIK, both Trezor and Ledger have built-in exchanges for trading cryptocurrencies
Is this the swap feature of Ledger live app? Based from their website's FAQ, they're using Changelly for this feature. And the feature is not available for US residents which op is likely. (https://www.ledger.com/swap)

Which countries are eligible for this service?
Due to different regulations, this feature is not available in some countries, such as the United States or Japan. You can read Changelly's terms of use here.
9231  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can A Chrome app be a malwware and steal your private keys? on: November 09, 2020, 11:36:09 AM
Yes, a chome app that contains malware can read or open your email. Delete it. Don't store your private keys into your gmail or another cloud service or provider. That's not a wise thing to do. And if you're a person that likes downloading extension apps to your browser, make sure that you know the source because they can contain malware which can access your entire personal computer. Just for your sake and private keys, it is best to store it and write it.
9232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambled against Biden - funniest instance on: November 09, 2020, 10:22:38 AM
I just followed the election and mostly the bets which are interesting because of the crazy amounts that they've bet. Mainly, this thread that bet for Trump for $5M and with a possible winning amount of $15M. (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5286581.0)
Other than that, I didn't do any bet but just tuned in as it's probably the most interesting presidential election so far that I've monitored with such tremendous bets.

9234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Top Reasons You Should Know More Before Buying Bitcoin (BTC) on: November 08, 2020, 09:47:05 PM
Shouldn't be a top reason why newbies should know before buying. What they need to know is how volatile bitcoin is and you didn't included that on your article. It's very much important that a newbie shall know how volatile bitcoin as they invest so they wouldn't be surprised if there's a sudden plummet occurred after investing. It's misleading that you rely on those technicals which seem to be not important at all while forgetting one of the most important character of bitcoin.
9235  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin break its previous ATH record of 20K before end of 2020? on: November 08, 2020, 08:47:44 PM
History always repeats itself but you never know when it does. The Bitcoin made all time high record back in 2017, the track record of BTC is that every three years it breaks it ATH record.
We can't do anything with that but to wait until it comes by surprise. End of 2020 or not, we have all the same hope that there will be another all-time high but it's very unknown and we can't guess when it will happen until it finally happens.
If it breaks 2017's ATH by the end of this year, then it's selling time. But if something like that didn't happened, we'll just continue our lives and keep holding. The news are becoming positive because of the adoption coming from prominent companies and that will create the positive outlook that ATH is imminent.
9236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you are new to crypto this is for you on: November 08, 2020, 07:50:17 PM
Someone have to do this from time to time, I believe that many newbies are still victims to scam projects till this days, we gotta keep warning them, not all can be safe but as for those who want to learn, here you go

1. Learn to control your greed
2. Money making should come last, learning is the first thing to do
3. Do research on exchanges as there are many bad eggs among the good exchanges
4. Follow the crypto investment rule, don't invest more than you can afford to lose
5. Don't put all your eggs in one basket, diversity is the way of winners in crypto space

All the best.
1. Greed can't be controlled by newbies. Even the old timers are having difficulty controlling.
2. Learning, studying and researching always have to come first. To be aware of scams and frauds you need to be knowledgeable.
3. Just follow the tip or style that use popular exchanges to avoid hassle.
4. Right. Invest with the amount that you are ok to take risk. Not because others made profit, you will also invest like them even it's a huge amount.
5. On this, bitcoin only is an exception kind of investment technique.
9237  Economy / Speculation / Re: All time high is just around the corner are you selling all on: November 07, 2020, 12:26:11 PM
It looks like all time high is just around the corner congratulations to all those who bought Bitcoin when it crashes last March and you are still holding it, now that another all time high are you making a loan withdrawing from your savings to buy Bitcoin?

Remember whatever happens only invest what you can afford to lose, there is a big temptation to put everything, but the market is still volatile it's never steady it never was.
Congrats also to those people who have held since 2018, the known bearish for bitcoin. It was a tough year then last year was a good year and this year is even better. What if 2021 is going to be the best of them all except the upcoming other years? Loans and savings are two different things in the bank. If it's taking loan to buy bitcoin, don't do this. If it's coming from savings, invest only what you afford to lose. Don't also be greedy for the profits, it's ok to sell for your own benefit.
9238  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Buying and selling on this forum on: November 07, 2020, 11:23:20 AM
Avoid making transactions that the other party is demanding that you will not avail an escrow. If the other party is reputable and can be verified through his trust score, you can have the option not to use an escrow.
But even if he has a good trust score, it's always the best choice to hire any of the available escrow. It will make your transaction ease and safe.
9239  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Targets for 2020 on: November 06, 2020, 11:32:43 PM
It has to stay first in $15k for a week or two or more. That's a better thing for us to see rather than to quickly jump to all-time highs. The investors have matured and learned a lot from the 2017 bull run. And as much as we want to see it rightaway, we're all cool with what's happening. Stabilizing it first will give us confidence that bitcoin is on the path that we're all desiring to see the price that's best. But not that fast, give it time until 2021 to 2022 for those higher prices. And for the remaining days for 2020, we see it as the process of stabilization first for $10k-$15k and likely to $16k-17k.

actually the right price at the end of the year is in the range of $ 15K which will allow bitcoin to move back in the following year in a position that is already quite stable at that price. but everything has happened that bitcoin has passed $ 15K but I still hope that a stable price will get bitcoin at the end of this year.

because the decisive prediction is that in the next year bitcoin will be able to continue to move up, maybe even several times the revenue in 2017. All this is only an analysis of the halving that occurred in the first and second which is a significant difference, so hope that the third halving can happen like that. .
It's a range and it's ok to assume with that price. I'm not saying that it's going to be as actual as $16k-$17k, I'm saying that it's likely to reach those prices at the end of this year. Because with those rapid increases that we have, the chance is likely to hit those numbers.
There will be some fall and as usual predictions and analysis, the halving has something to do with this. The lesser rewards for the miners should be rewarded through the increased price of bitcoin and that's why it's best to hold. I'll give a part of my stash until for the next 4-8 years to witness the effects of those two halvings.
9240  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler living in England makes a $5M bet on Trump on: November 06, 2020, 10:34:32 PM
As the article says, they have depended on the past election so he have thought that it could be the same win of Trump just like the past election.

Just like the usual gambling, he used the previous election as his reference. He actually even sees that Trump has the edge so he bet on it without a doubt.

This type of gambler, that can afford to lose such amount is already a professional on this industry. While counting of votes slow down, I think he is now preparing for his possible loss. There's a big pain but this gambler will not bet a big amount without a stable and big business as his source of income.
Not only him but referencing the article, there are a lot of them. The result of his bet is much more interesting to see. Whether he wins $15M or he losses $5M.
Whichever the result, I think any of those media that have covered his bet should also cover him again after the presidential election. They should give him an interview, I think that's a good exposure for him if it's possible to happen and get an insight what he was thinking when he made that big bet and what are the next steps he plans to do.
