As far as I know, he is 19, and even though he is at that legal age, I think he is still young to make those decisions, and the fact that it led here, that he committed suicide means he can't still take responsibility for his decision, that he can't still take the consequences for that decision he made. That is important as a gambler.

Your statement is factually inaccurate. There is no legal age for gambling in India, because gambling itself is illegal there. It doesn't matter whether you are 15 years or 35 years. Apart from one state, gambling is banned across India. None of the online gambling sites are based in India and they are mostly operating from the Caribbean nations or other small territories. So it will be very difficult for the authorities to take any legal action against them.

If that is the case then I think they needed to talk to that online gambling site about this. They can't just tell that they needed to ban their site in their country, I guess they have to do other things too like censoring these kinds of sites in which case they could just use a VPN. I think they can talk to the country where they are legalized? It is banned in India, and the fact that someone already died, needed to be dealt with.

The temptation of chasing the losses is very hard to overcome. Sometimes people don't want to admit that luck is not on their side. This is the reason why I maintain strict limits in gambling. If I loss more than a certain amount, then I will just quit, rather than trying to make up for those losses. And in my opinion, if people are not able to do this then they should not gamble.

He shouldn't have taken this extreme step but we never know what mental agony he was suffering from. If he talked to a friend, and expelled out his frustration, maybe the pressure would have been less.

No matter what happens in life, suicide is never a solution. I don't really want to make this case as an example for why we should limit our gambling, because even if a person loses big amount, there's still hope. Money can be earnt back, life is too precious.

On another note, indeed it's very deadly to borrow money for gambling because it can have disastrous consequences like pressure, mental agony, harassment etc. Best is to either play with own money or not gamble at all!

There is a saying "Your age does not define your maturity", this case is just an example that the saying is true. Even older people may not be able to handle a similar situation. For sure big financial loss due to gambling is a hard situation to handle, this is why there is another saying "gambling responsibly". We have seen many similar cases in this gambling world, where some people cant accept losses then start crying out loud. It is gambler's own mistake once they face financial loss while he cant handle it wisely. Lesson learned to everyone.

Suicide is not a correct way for anything in our life most of the time we are getting sad only more than happiness pictures life is always about to cross some failures I think we need to made the conference for the future this is the only option available when lossing the money.

The best thing one can do when they have such thoughts is to calm down, recall the best and happiest moments of your life. I don't like to discuss my private life on a public forum but I have went through such times in past and I even attempted to suicide when I lost everything and my parents denied to help me not because they don't love me or care for me but because I actually lose everything for them too. What helped me during that time was realizing my best memories and understanding that if I can leave my addiction (I don't want to disclose that) and put my head into the right job and work hard I can actually repay everything.

At times we value our life too cheaply and I can proudly say that I went through that time but because of my self belief and inner strength I was able to overcome, I feel bad for the boy who suicide for some money but trust me anyone who might have such thoughts please understand "suicide is not the best choice" it is the last choice, so work hard and believe me times will change.

People shouldn't bet with the money what they can't afford to loss. Borrowing money for betting is worst decision ever.Every gambler know these things but many of them still do it. Does this kind of news make you worried? Share your thought about this.

It's also important for betting centers/sites to make this(bolded) clear. I believe people can have a change of heart when they see the  ⚠ Warning Sign: "Do not Gamble" or "Don't bet what you can't afford to lose/risk"

Even if there are bold signs in the betting area, I don't think it will help for those addicted gamblers as they will bet no matter what. Okay better than have none. But this is too unfortunate, youngsters really have weak EQ, they thought it is the end of their world. And most of the time, they won't ask for help or guidance for the fear that they will be beaten by their family. So for them, better end their lives. I hope it will serve a lesson to his friends, colleagues or family.

I think if you add some real images and stories of tragic consequences of gambling in betting centers, (with informations on how to avoid/prevent/treat it) that can help greatly. What a tragic incident. He's still a boy for his age of 19 and that's why he thought that doing things such as borrowing money for recovery with his losses is the right thing to do. Things like this are unstoppable but I hope that the new gamblers are responsible enough to read terrible incidents like this so that they can have an idea what they should do when they are betting all of their money. I also want to criticize people who pressurize others to pay the debts and loans because if the person you lent money suicides not only you live with a sin for the rest of your life but you also lose the money he might have paid back the money slowly. There are people who will create pressure and traumatize others to pay their debt but never understand what the other person is going through.

I remember an incident where a person near our house had a big loan from someone who was into illegal activities and he caused so much stress that he was forced to suicide but what followed was very shocking, he left a suicide note and mentioned everything about the criminal who lent him money and he was actually caught, all his illegal activities were seized and he was sentenced for many years.

This is the saddest part of being a gambler. When you are already an addict you will play as long as you have money to spend until nothing's left. And when you're done spending all of your money, you will feel feel sad and guilty for what you did. You will think that there are still chances for you to win so you will lend money to others or sell your things in order for you to back in track but when you are still experiencing loses, that triggers your depression.

You are right and actually loaning and gambling are often linked together because like you mentioned gamblers often take loans and borrow money in hope to win more and pay back everything.

gambling must be done with the money you have in spare or can afford to lose so that once you lose it you don't have the added challenge to recover them back, I do not know why people even gamble with money they need to desperately that they later have to take loans and pay back.

In case someone has lost what he could not afford to lose still there are better ways of paying back by working extra hours and save more because life is precious or I maybe say priceless and monetary situation should never be so much that you end it.
