A quick sneak peak at one of our many giveaways we will be doing for Primedice 3 launch...

... The first person to unlock every achievement will receive a massive 25 BITCOIN Smiley And this is definitely not going to be our biggest giveaway either.. Stay tuned Smiley

Achievements are related to number of bets, wagered, chat activity, referring players, profit etc. There's a total of 26 of them. They are definitely not impossible to achieve! I suspect it won't take long for someone to take the cake.

number of referals and amount comission are achievements in case you wonder why this is relevant.

I'm confused which reports of mine have been lately considered as bad report !!! As per my calculation 2 reports of mine have been considered as bad report in last 1 week span.

This one https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=646163.msg7223212#msg7223212 doesn't belong in Service Announcements, the guy's offering his services here, on bitcointalk.org, and his website only serves him as a place to put his portfolio on.

Thanks for the clarification. I'd also like to know why https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=733891.0 is not moving to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=71.0 ? AFAIK bounty offering goes under Games and rounds and she is not offering any service in this thread. So I reported this thread to be moved. Probably that goes to u as mod of this section.

IMHO its a request for a service thus fits the section. Its not a bountyhunt or game either.

I know its not exactly what you are looking for but maybe it can help you:

https://bitcointalk.org/modlog.php

That is a very long list of mod actions. If I count it right, there are a total of 1450 rows.
How much time does the list cover? A week or a month for those 1450 mod actions?

Mods have 150+ reports daily so this would cover ~9 days.

-snip-
Last time I counted, 3-4 months ago, total reports for the entire forum was ~150 a day. So if a report sits there for more than a day or two it probably won't get handled. Also, there is literally an ignore button, which will remove a report from your queue (mostly used for foreign language board reports), so one moderator might see 1 report pending, another might see 50. Reports are handled pretty quickly everywhere except alt currencies.

Potential new signature campaign, nice idea just need to be realized
This campaign won't be added, because it isn't a "real" campaign and payments (if any) will most likely be too small to care about.

I suspect the reason behind this is the 25 BTC reward for getting all the new PD3 achievements. I dont have a source on this, but it was said in PD chat that the first person to get all the achievements would get that amount of BTC. In order to get those you need 100+ refered players as well as 5 BTC in comission.
9267  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Check Balance of Multiple Bitcoin Addresses ( Non py, Non Linux ) on: August 15, 2014, 06:52:36 PM
How the #$*@ did you end up a moderator?

 Roll Eyes

As for you...

I friggen love you man. ( in a non-homo kind of way)

Uhm yeah....

Here is the PM I got, I will answer this in public.

You sir are a genius on a million different levels and i cannot thank you enough for your piece of software. I have not been able to get it to work yet.

Not sure what the problem is, its just a very simple jar file.

i have about a million addresses i want to check and i dont think it will handle that many, but i will get it figured out soon. I just wanted to write and express my gratitude to you for even attempting such a thing.

No it wont. It might accept 1 million lines, not sure about that, I never had to work with Java on that scale. I actually never had to work with anything on that scale. Anyway the bc.i API will certainly ban you. I dont see any personal use in checking a million addresses. Care to tell me why do you need to check so many? This code is definitly not company ready and I was under the impression that you are a person that wants to check the balance of your own address without the need of a wallet. E.g. to watch the balance of your paperwallets or something like that. Thats basically the extent what you can do with it. Put in a couple of addresses, run it and be happy that your paperwallets are still loaded. I probably understood the "a ton of" wrong in your first post.

Edit: I probably should have read the OP more carefully...  Angry

I had thought about going a similar route myself by installing the insight-api to run locally then try and write either a ruby or php application to do the same thing as i am sure waking up every morning and checking the balance on a million addresses will get my IP banned from blockchain.info rather quickly so i thought it would be best to host the info locally.

Yes, this would be an option. This would however require you to follow DannyHamiltons advice and build a database, so my few lines of Java code will not help you there. If you allready have a local database that can just return a "getbalance" request you dont need an external tool that makes these requests.

Do you have skype by chance?

No, I actually get a bad feeling every time someone asks me whether I have skype. Call it personal experience.

while on my adventure of building a java interface to work with the insight-api i might run across some things i might have questions about, i do not know java myself but started learning it about 3 days ago, so as a newb to it all it would be nice to have someone who is knowledgeable about it that i can go to for things that stump me. kind of like a mentor as i try to figure it all out.

After I read this thread Id rather not help you. 1 Million keys is -as was argued allready by others above- not personal use. I have no idea what you are trying to do here and I honestly do not want to know.

The way you reacted [1] on gmaxwell's question make me not want to work with you, not even in the very unlikely case that you are indeed looking for an employee and need this for your very good running bussiness that legitematly has 1 million addresses (e.g. 1 for each customer) to track.

Enjoy the rest of your life.

no i am not kidding,it happened  like i wrote. you can try and play yourself and see it.

Yes the "Automated Betting" does not stop instantly, but takes a little to do so.

Yet there are
- Stop at certain profit/loss
- Limit number of rolls

to prevent what you described. If you did not use neither, how is it the sites fault?

-snip-

Apparently he copy pasted out of the wrong text file.

Thats likely, but why did he have that textfile with addresses? Usually because you know someone with that address.

-snip-
Well you can store you BTC at your CEX.io wallet at the address they provide you.

You can, but you should not.

Id call that a web wallet of sorts, if it is a web wallet even.....?
Im not sure how you even got to the part about owning all of CEX.io.  Its one wallet receive address.

A wallet -at least for me- is something that gives you control over at least one private key. So if anything happens to the service you still have the private key to spend the funds useing another wallet.

Cex.io is a service that has a balance. If they go away tomorrow your friend (and everyone else that though storring coins there was a good idea) has nothing but usless login data. The address your friend sends money to in order to increase his balance on cex.io is not under his control. Thus following the balance of that address is irrelevant. The only thing that is relevant is the balance on cex.io. Big companies will not store the money you send them on the addresses they give you to pay.
9272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: 7.4BTC transaction shows as 0.025 BTC sent on blockchain.info - HELP on: August 15, 2014, 01:28:16 PM
OK I think some of this could be explained since he said he uses a CEX.io wallet.
-snip-

Cex.io is not a wallet nor a wallet service. Addresses mean nothing in this context. Thats like saying you own amazons bank account because you send them money to increase the funds shown on amazon.com.

-snip-
They have sent ONE transaction since they got the wallet and just messaged me saying they
think they sent the funds to the wrong person.
-snip-

The chance for a typo in an address is very low, so your friend should know who that address belongs to.

What if you are using a online wallet (blockchain.info) where you don't have access to private keys? Maybe I should just make a new wallet on Bitcoin-qt just for this purpose.

If your online wallet does allow signing messages you are fine. bc.i apparently allows this [1]

Edit: I get PMs from time to time asking for help with the below software. The API in question is no longer operational, thus you will need to use the curl version -> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=736607.msg9982506#msg9982506

---
I read this thread a day or two ago and though, well this should be easily done in ruby... and then I read it completly.

I spend a few hours and made a tiny java programm [1] that does what I think you want.

You simple have to paste all the addresses in a file named in.txt (seperated by line breaks, see the in.txt that I put there for testing), run it with
Code:
java -jar chkblnc.jar

and watch it work. When done it will make you a file named out.txt (be carefull any existing file in the same directory with that name will be overwritten).

Which looks like this:

Code:
---------- BTC address ----------| : Balance in BTC (Satoshi)
186Aow5EgRz6WNroi2Eky8c94eZvxpWAEd : 0.22698467 (22698467)
19QkbYPu81MHkSdBxKXUm39nyH14z27gf6 : 0.181 (18100000)
19wLQ9PbptbrhXywyJ1FmmwckmH8x367Ez : 9.00230376 (900230376)
1MF48CPkGmnCXp54ztp9gTRCscpHzGvEC4 : 0.0 (0)
1Q147jbV8RFrBiW9JfNgZGNUtGoYnxsGED : 0.0 (0)
1LD6GEDrStmKYUjVnDwqySDqU6BUCo7Boc : 0.0 (0)
1FFvzKr4tHBb5tm7uLKwfUdRpQt4SiyCip : 0.0 (0)
1B4WYJA97wEZcC1faQaoE8zefyDwNmYdR3 : 0.0 (0)

I used the blockchain.info API [2] to get the balance, so it will need internet access. The connection will not be encrypted.
It is quick and dirty and will not catch any exceptions, if anything goes wrong (e.g. no internet, file not found) it will just terminate.
Please do not blindly trust me and read the code! Even with limited copy pasta knowledge of java you should be able to understand what it does.

I know these are a lot but, but [3] I hope it will help you.

9280  Other / Meta / Re: Activity & new membergroup limits on: August 14, 2014, 03:31:27 PM
---It would be a great idea, if you were only allowed to post, if your activity level is around 50. This means activity is independant of your post count. Also limitation in postings a day, depending on your status.

Activity is currently partly dependant on posts, how would anyone ever reach 50 without posting? How would you suggest "activity" to work? You yourself ask for more quality, yet you did not manage to finish the though before you posted.
