I was so close to buying it when it was under $6K for a moment, but I went to sleep and it went up!  Trying to decide if I should wait until it goes down more or swoop it at $8K. I think it will be back up closer to $20K pretty soon. I have a friend who bought bitcoin during this peak season. When the bitcoin price was 18-20k USD. Now he is sad and disappointed seeing that the current price has dropped to 50% and more and he is afraid he is going to lose all. In short he lost his hope and faith in bitcoin already. Has anyone here did the same as he did? If you did invest in that amount what did you do to your bitcoin, did you sell it or still holding it?
If your friend is not stupid, then he will not sell his bitcoins now. Read various topics on the forum, everyone says (and I think so) that you do not need to sell it and the price will still reach new heights and your friend will change his mind. Rest assured. i have some bitcoin that i was bought in peak of 18-20k$ but im not sad because im completely believe that the dip is just for a short time,and i have seen this for how many times,at the end of the day,bitcoin recovered and make a huge comeback.your friend must be strong enough to fight the feeling of losing instead trust this coin and prepare for income |

I think all the newcomers (newbies) are now leaving the market with panic selling and that's what is keeping the downfall of course the bad news about bitcoins also helped.
I'm sure bitcoin and most of crypto currencies will never crash don't forget the drug market that is running on bitcoin they will NEVER let bitcoin crash.
maybe this year's downfall is more than any year because the Chinese holiday (which is normal every year) but the new thing this year is that a lot of new people joined the market who have absolutely no experience with bitcoins so they are panicking. so the Chinese and the new traders together are making a huge impact on the market , bigger than any other year.
I'm a newbie as well so if I have a wrong thought or thinking in a wrong way please correct me.

Nothing can beat gambling sites thats for sure,because its designed in favored ofhe table or the banker thats why its impossible to have a gambling experts .maybe theres a few that has skills but wasnt enough to took over the house. Kindly share your experience if you ever being faced situation where either you where not allowed to enter the casinos due to either improper attire, age verification issue etc. Also anytime till now have you being removed from the casinos? It could be due to any of reasons e.g - Misbehaving or fighting, getting high and creating ruckus, caught cheating etc.

I was travelling abroad and happen to visit casinos but i was in flip flops and as per the rules a proper attire was must. I was not being allowed inspite of me explaining I cam from abroad and will be leaving tonight and was not aware of such policy etc. But they where strict with the rules and I had to return back form their.
no never had one since my first time entering a casino until now that i am going once a month or twice maybe.though one time friend of mine has been denied entering a betting house because of improper attire thats the only experience i have regarding the question of OP |

You seem to be one of the guy who got bitcoin cash on bubble at peak price with the hope that it will soon replace bitcoin  There were tens of such clones before which was hyped to replace bitcoin in near future but all of them failed to do so and same thing gonna happen to bitcoin cash. There's usually a lot of speculation of price when it comes to a Bitcoin fork, but this one is unique in that it will incorporate Bitcoin and Zclassic as the holders that will receive the new Bitcoin Private. It has me completely at a loss for price predictions. Bitcoin Gold and Cash both started out around $500. I would love to see Bitcoin Private come out around there as well as I will be receiving some. I'm hoping that since it's meant to be a privacy coin, given the crazy hype around privacy lately, that the price will be $600+. Anyone out there have any price predictions? And if you have any reasoning behind those predictions, I'd love to hear it.

I always thought that initial coin price is not important, because there is no difference between buying 1000 coins at $0.001 or 0.001 coin at $1000. Buy most of my friends who are newbie in crypto prefer buying low cost coins ("BTC is already $15000 but Rillple is still cheap").
Maybe that means that new people coming to crypto would prefer new altcoins (especially altcoins with lower price and more total supply) rather then BTC, ETH and other > 1000$ coins?
Also with cheaper coins it's simply easier to calculate whey purchasing something with crypto. I'm sure everyone is using calculators while trading on BTC/* pairs))
