Correct today bitcoin transaction seems cheap and is really fast. Thanks to segwit. I heard also that they are releasing a version of the software to force segwit on miners. This is good new! and will surely pump bitcoin again.

Ledger Nano S | Ang Unang Paggamit

Alam naman naten na marami ng incident ng hacking ng mga cryptowallets sa buong bansa. Kasama na rito yung mga maliliit na users katulad naten. Maraming way para maging safe ang inyong pag access o paggamit sa inyong mga cryptocurrencies mapa bitcoin man yan o altcoin. At isa sa mga pinakasikat na paraan ay ang paggamit ng isang hardware wallet.

Bumili ako ng hardware wallet na Ledger Nano S sa Lazada mula sa isang merchant na ang pangalan ay CryptoShop. Isa sa mga sikat na crytocurrency hardware wallet na sini-secure ang iyong mga private keys laban sa mga hackers or mga viruses na nakukuha dahil sa pagdodownload ng kung ano-anong files sa iyong computer. At minsan mahirap itong madetect ng ating antivirus.

Ang pag set-up

Ang pag setup ng Ledger Nano S ay madali lang pero kailangan na medyo ay alam ka ren ng konti sa technology pero konti lang naman.  
I-plug ang Ledger Nano S sa isang computer. mag-o-on ang Ledger Nano S, lalabas ang logo at welcome message. Sa una tatanungin ka nito kung ise-set ba as new device o hindi, magconfirm. Dalawa ang button ng Ledger Nano S, ang kaliwa ay madalas para mag-cancel ang kanan ay madalas para mag-confirm at ang pagpindot ng sabay ay para rin sa pag-confirm.

Pumili ng PIN code.  Ang PIN code ay maaring 6 o 8 digits pero hindi dapat bumaba sa 4 digits. Sa una ang pipili ka ng PIN code mo. Pumili ng PIN code at mag-confirm. Matapos nito ilalagay mo ule ang iyong napiling pincode.

Isulat ang Recovery Words. Mayroong 24 na recovery words na ilalabas ang Ledger Nano S. Mas mabuti kung second hand o kahit brand new ang Ledger Nano S ay isulat nalang muna itong recovery words sa isang scratch at hindi sa recovery sheet na kasama sa package. Ito ay dahil nararapat na i-reset muna naten ang device. Siguraduhin lamang na wala na talagang kakailanganin pa na laman ng mga wallet sa Ledger Nano S kung ito ay second hand. Kung meron pa eh ilipat na sa ibang wallet at i-reset ang device. Matapos isulat ang 24 na words mula sa Ledger Nanos S mag-ra-random check ang Ledger Nano S, tatanungin nito kung anung salita ang nasa isang numero ng dalawang beses. Sagutin lamang ito.

Ready na ang Ledger Nano S. Matapos ang lahat ready na ang Ledger Nano S! Sunod naman ay ang pag-set-up ng iyong computer.

Kung brand new o second hand ang Ledger Nano S at isinulat mo sa scratch ang 24 words upang i-reset ito ang paraan. Patayin ang Ledger Nano S at muling isaksak. Pumili ng maling PIN code ng 3 beses. Magrereset ang Ledger Nano S.

Ngayong na set-up na naten ang Ledger Nano S. Kailangan naman nateng i-setup ang iyong computer.

Mag download ng Google Chrome Browser. Yun naman ay kung wala ka pa. Muka namang meron na.

I-download ang app sa Chrome Web Store. I download ang app extension sa Chrome Web Store. Pero mahirap hanapin sa search bar ng Chrome Web Store ang app kaya dumiretso nalang sa www.ledgerwallet.com at hanapin ang apps. Makikita mo dun ang pinaka latest na links sa app na magdidirekta sayo sa Chrome Store.

I-setup ang mga application sa Ledger Nano S. Sa default ang Ledger Nano S ay may 3 application Bitcoin, Ethereum at Fido. Upang maaccess ang bitcoin pasukin lamang ang app nito sa Ledger Nano S. Siguraduhing na naka "No" ang browser access sa Bitcoin app. Pumunta lamang sa settings ng Bitcoin app at makikita ang Browser Access. Upang maaccess naman ang Ethereum wallet pasukin lamang ang app nito sa Ledger Nano S at siguraduhin na naka "Yes" ang browser support. Naka "No" ang browser support sa Bitcoin app dahil maa-access naten ito gamit ang Bitcoin Wallet application ng Ledger Wallet. Naka "Yes" naman ang browser support sa Ethereum dahil maa-access naten ito gamit ang www.myetherwallet.com.

Paggamit ng Ledger Nano S. Ngayong nai-setup na naten ang Ledger Nano S at nadownload na ang applications. Maari na nating ma-access ang mga wallets. Pumasok lamang sa isang application sa Ledger Nano S, at pindutin ang dalawang button ng sabay sa "Use wallet to view accounts". Tandaan lamang na isang application lamang ang pwedeng gamitin sa bawat pagkakataon. I-close ang isang application bago magagamit ang isa pang application.

Naka set ka na!. Ngayon maari mo ng magamit ang iyong Ledger Nano S. Maari mong i-save ang mga address ng iyong Ledger Nano S upang mabantayan ang laman nitong funds.

Para sa mga tanong o kaya naman mga maling nakasulat o nararapat idagdag. Sabihin lamang sakin at aking babaguhin. Sana magamit nyo ito. Kase naranasan ko yung mga konting problema. Salamat!

Mas maganda sana legit seller hanggat maari. Pero madali lang naman daw malaman kung legit ang isang ledger nano. At ugaliin lang na ireset bago gamitin pag bagong bili lalo na yung second hand.

Okay sorry for the 25 post I'd been on Alts more than Bitcoin threads. Merit contribute a lot to rank. So, if this is most likely to happen it will make Merit like tradable coins. Which I think is not intended so.

I think this will cause more spam post than usual. 25 post a week is a huge number. 10-15 an almost standard requirement for a signature campaign creates so much spam how much more 25. Plus the fact that this will contribute a lot to your rank. I think this will not be good. I hope we can see the system as the way theymos sees it.

You can use hardware wallets. They have the same qualities you wanted. Store wallets for both BTC, LTC, ETH and other altcoins. It is also secure, small, UI is lite and is portable like a laptop.

You are right this might be one of the cases here. They might not sell their merit points but they might create a new account and rank that account up faster than those who stick to the rules. Using that earned merits for another account and the cycle goes on. As you can see, you can earn Merits by sending them to one another (.5 merit per 1 merit sent). By this, one can become a Merit miner (like bitcoin) and still use multiple accounts.
