this seems interesting, i was thinking about why not miners couldnt set their own limits and let that be the solution.

dont despair, it took me arround 3-4 days to my laptop to have it fully sync, was more hard than on my current pc.

but is just a question of time, soon orlater it will sync, just be patient sometimes on my laptop it seems like was frozen but it was not

btw you can check it the database it is increasing, if it is, then you just need to w8 a little bit more

btw about the main question, you just need to made one thing, be honest and give a good service to others, what service? whatever ppl need and you can offer, just check our forum there is lot of ppl who need some services, if you made a good work, they will compensate it and give you a +1 trust.

well thats a bad news for sure, but just imagine that BTC is not different from fiat money, in that way, i mean that just dont have too much money on your phone, you can use multiple accounts and just store some of your daily BTC expenses on one account, that way if you get robbed you will not lost a lot of money.

i was the one who enroll on this avatar+signature campaign, after read this thread i quit, i dont want that someone give me negative trust because of that and be a part of a "possible" scam

btw about the main question, i cant remember the exact day but i remember a guy called "wolf0" or something like that who made some good sw minners, who sayd that anything can me implemented with more or less efficience, but in the end im pretty sure that can be done.

My vote is for bitcoin core, but i understand that all the HDD is an disadvantage.

but if i need to choose another one instead of btc core i will go for multibit, easy to use and pretty good & light desktop client.
