It goes in cycles, right now profits are not as high, but still you have profit. If you have too expensive electricity then i would not go into mining. I hope trend will overturn and mining profits will be bigger in the future
$0.21 is my electric price per kilowatt £0.16p in my money (ish) oh shit 0.21$ only vega can help you for mining, or gtx instead with lot of money burned to buy it

Hello guys, building a 6xVega XMR mining rig, need some advice. Parts: Asrock H81 Pro BTC R2.0 Intel Celeron G1840 (can't get cheaper CPU) 16GB DDR3 RAM, I already have this 250GB SSD
My problem is Vega 64 and 56 are the same price (600 euros). Should I buy 64s or 56s? Is there any point in buying a Ryzen CPU instead and have it mine as well? Thanks in advance.
If they are the same price, buy the 64. If you want to mine the Monero, you can buy a good CPU. dont buy g1840 , get 32xx instead vega 64 for sure

Are Vegas worth it compared to 480/580? I mean price to hashrate.
with xmr performance right now, vega its better

i need help for mining with nvidia 1060 VGA. I come from Indonesia
What do you need? I need someone who can teach me or guide me to start mining. because I just started well you dont know what are you doing right now, just fooling around right

mine xmr using xmr-amd-stak, 1900hs/150watt

Issues with Vega 56:
Blockchain drivers lockup if attempting to mine with more than 1 card. Blockchain drivers crash dual mining.
Using 17.9.2: Can be bios modded with Vega 64 bios, however this makes mining slower slightly, and changing mem clock has no effect. Slightly slower than blockchain drivers, but works better, and can dual mine. Lowering power limit or dual mining without raising ~+20 makes mem constantly throttle to 700MHz. Setting voltage doesn't really seem to affect power usage at all. Clockspeed seems to have 0 impact on power usage, very little impact dual mining. Setting clockspeed doesn't set at a fixed speed, it somewhat affects it, but it has a mind of its own. Mem can be set ~950MHz, possibly up to ~980MHz. CM 9.8 slightly faster ETH it seems. Best profit seems dual mining ~34.5MHz ETH, 140MHz LBRY, +20% power, 1300 core, 9xx voltage.
Anyone have anything to add or suggestions?
mining monero with vega 56 better profit than dual mine and more stable What is Vega 56 give on stock clocks for ETH? I understand your ~43 MH/s is with OC'ed Vega right? 43mhs at 932 mhz, default stock vega 56 (bios 64) its 1630 mhz, massive underclocked Thanks Do you remember when it was stock how much ETH Hash did it give you before you bios modded it? And how much Power consumption? 37-38 mhs with bios stock around 200 watt 43-44 bios 64 around 145-150 watt

Well my findings are the opposite, vega 56 with moded bios can do 42-43Mhs. I can't measure the power consumption. Also the 64bios can let you clock the memory on the 56 to 1100Mhz. Dual-mining works fine with all drivers. Setting lower voltages in wattman seems to lower the power consumtion, but I relly can't test much without a damned watt-o-meter. vega 56 43.7 mhs 155watt at the wall, 1600 hs xmr Gonna have to do better than that, I'll get more RX460s and stack 'em! yeah maybe waiting 2000 hs on monero with strap, at this price, its equal with dual rx 470, with same price/speed,

Are you guys only using Afterburner or are you also using wattman to lower the wattage. I just received my Vega 56 Sapphire
Im using Afterburner 4.4 beta 16 Windows 10 fresh install
900 core 925 mem...more than this it locks up -15 power
and im at 225 from the wall 35mh with the block chain drivers
any help would be appreciated
yeah for now only wattman can droping wattage, flash it with 64 bios, it would help 43,7mhs/150-160watt,

Vega 64 = 300 watt = 40 MHS
2x rx580 = 340 watt = 54 MHS
Corrrect
but for other altcoins - vega not good?
etc XMR
Not correct, Vega consumes only 150-180w for 40-43mh eth. You need to run it at 1000/1100@0.78v vega 64 its good enogh, dual mine eth+lbry its the best for vega now i'm waiting vega 56 arrive for testing

testing on ETC with same hashrate, vega itsnt same as RX, similiar with furyx didnt mater what coin is in the futere looks like rx and other card will sell on ebay soon after vega masive production, oh boy dont worry if you already bought ton of rx 400/500 or nvidia pascal card which is very expensive with longer ROI

"Our test bed idles at 138 watts and the entire system consumes an average of about ~385 watts under load while mining." Big difference than that clickbait 130w. OK, so this screens is a fake? https://imgur.com/a/1GgvRto many noobs vega reviewrs, vega run 43,5mhs at 170w, on 17.8.2 driver with 960/1100 at -24% power limit

Quite a price correction I'd say. Price rebound incoming?
Rebound all the way to zero. Have fun bagholding Paycoin 2.0 yeah welcome rekters, haha, anyway thanks for profit, bye2 bagholders

Lol, why ppl stuck on msi afterburner setting, Just go bios set to PEG Use display on gpu 0, not on IGP, and afterburner setting being normal again double speed dual mine lbc, nice improvement, bye nvidia ,
