941  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if all the governments accept crypto? on: October 19, 2018, 04:11:21 AM
There is a long debate about the effect of government's approval, in one side I believe it will increase the popularity and give more secure feelling to the investors, but at one side investors are looking for investment that are decentralised, with the government's approval there will be regulations, which could make them hesitate to invest, for me I think if the regulations are proporsional and not too tight that it could make a positive grow for crypto
942  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who do people dump tokens below ICO price and how can this be stopped? on: October 18, 2018, 11:10:40 PM
in my opinion, the only way to stop this is to make the ICO system KYC, so every new project that wants to make an ICO and make a project on behalf of that, must register a legitimate company (KYC) to avoid ICO scams

I don't see how kyc is going to prevent people from selliing their coin, it's the people's right to sell the coin that they own, there is nothing that we can do if the people want to sell their coin despite the price is low, and most of the time people will sell as long as they already make profit, because ICO price tends to go down really fast
943  Economy / Economics / Re: Poor Internet Services Could Cause Hamper Crypto Adoption in Africa on: October 18, 2018, 09:46:33 AM
I dont think that with the rise in technological advances it is necessary to have the internet connection all over the world.

There is new tech about which I am reading these days and thats called as Mesh technology where there is only need of internet connection at specific distance and its not necessary to be placed all over the region to successfully execute the actions.

It goes online whenever it gets the internet connection.

Some more advances are also expected above this and could remove internet necessity for sure.

But it will difficult to implemented in such expensive technology in poor countries, even for internet which is very cheap in some countries still become an expensive item in Africa, and crypto can't work without Internet, that is why the growth in Africa for crypto is not too significant
944  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Strategy on: October 18, 2018, 05:23:22 AM
To make a greater profit in bitcoin we need new investors or at least for investors that invest in alt coin back to invest in bitcoin, with bitcoin increase it will create a good market that can lead to a better price, and if there are more countries adopt crypto then it can create greater opportunities to make huge profit, for now there are too many negative news that destroy crypto reputation
945  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 99 Percent of Cryptocurrencies are Worth Zero? What the hell? on: October 18, 2018, 01:29:51 AM
I think its a good perspective, and I agree that we got too many crypto that worth almost nothing now, people nowadays only want get rich quickly by creating new coin they don't really care about the growth and development, and I am quite surprised to see the article about the eth, I think eth ia a good coin, the smart contract maybe buggy but there is always room for improvement
946  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Cryptocurrency and regulation, do we need it? on: October 17, 2018, 11:07:02 PM
I agree if the regulation can be used to make crypto become better and give more secure feelling to the users, I personally feel that crypto doesn't need any government interference, but I know there are some scenario from crypto that could create threat to the country's economic, so I don't mind crypto being regulated as long as it doesn't destroy crypto potential to grow
947  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we stop Bitcoin's negative publicity?-Rebranding. on: October 17, 2018, 10:54:03 AM
I think bitcoin need publicity, bitcoin popularity need to be increase so a lot of people know and it could attract new investors, as long as there is a person that used crypto for bad things the negative news will keep on appearing and the media really like to expose the negative side of bitcoin, the one that we can do is to keep on giving a proper explanation and knowledge for people, it can be from Youtube, blog or seminar
948  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is one of the saviors. on: October 17, 2018, 05:18:45 AM
I am one of the people that being saved by crypto, and crypto could open a new way of earning, I think  alot of third world countries users will said that crypto is a savior and they depend on crypto to make a living, since crypto was created a lot of people had feel the usefulness, if only people keep on continue to used it for good thing, I think the legalisation of crypto could happen in every countries
949  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Dangers of a HODL’er: on: October 17, 2018, 01:50:04 AM
In a way there are dangers associated with HODL because if the market goes down you always believe it will go up again and in a way never really stay on top of things as you should be when investing.

Well it depends on the coin itself and when you decide to hold the coin, when you think of holding for long term, you need to find a string reliable coin, if you hold an alt coin that is infamous then it got the potential of dropping without the chance of going up, every investment whether you want to trade it or hold it got the risk, so it depends on the people's aim
950  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should there be that many cryptocurrencies that exists? on: October 16, 2018, 11:05:33 PM
No we don't need too many crypto, we already got more than enough crypto, unfortunately people keep on creating a new one hoping that the coin can make them rich, and it makes the investors confused, actually some of the new coin got a good potential but because of too many coins that appear, it makes the investors missed to see its real potential
951  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Good day for arbitraging on: October 16, 2018, 08:30:29 AM
Arbitrage is not that simple, one wrong movements could end up losing money, you can't rely only on the price that you see, but you need to consider the transaction volume, the speed transaction and the transaction fee, and most of the coin that you see is infamous coin, so if you not acting fast then you will miss the chance and end up losing money
952  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why should i always have fiat? on: October 16, 2018, 06:25:49 AM
Its a fantastic idea, diversify investment doesn't always mean split your investment between crypto, you can split your investment into fiat that could be very useful when the market goes down, splitting fiat and crypto investment could be safer than only invest in crypto, and its recommended to do this when we are facing bear market
953  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin connected to our banks!!! on: October 16, 2018, 05:24:44 AM
It will create some concern, people love crypto because its anonymous and the purpose of crypto is we able buy things without need to reveal our identity, and by connecting our wallet with bank, then we are exposing our identity to the government, its not a good idea at all, and by allowing bank to cooperate with crypto means there will be regulations, which I think will weaken the crypto feature and existence
954  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Africa be a good place for crypto? on: October 15, 2018, 11:11:25 PM
Glad to hear that crypto able to help some poor countries to have a better life, Africa really help to spread the word avout crypto, unfortunately the usage and the power to boost crypto still weak in Africa, and I dont see crypto has solve any problem yet in Africa, I think the influence of Africa in crypto is still small
955  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you making money in this bear market? on: October 15, 2018, 10:53:53 AM
If you are a good trader then you can make money in every market, but bear market got a bigger risk of losing money and some of the rising is so short, so in order to make money in bear market you must got a good knowledge and skill, in decentralised market the falling could be so deep and causing a stagnant investment, so actually it's not recommended to trade in bear market unless you got a good skill and experience
956  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Regulation Does not take away the concept of Decentralization on: October 15, 2018, 08:20:16 AM
Its good to have regulatory body, it could be prevent more scam or fraud, at least this regulatory could wipe out the unnecessary and unpotential coin to over flow the market and give more confidence to the investors, but when we talk about regulation of course it will take away the concept of decentralisation, but if it can make crypto grow bigger and better then I dont mind with the regulation
957  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alts coin vs BTC on: October 15, 2018, 05:20:18 AM
Well it's depend on the term, for short term maybe alt coin could be more profitable, and because it's cheap, the potential to grow is bigger, but bitcoin is more stable compare to alt coin, for long term bitcoin is better than alt coin, and I prefer to have safe long term investment so I suggest bitcoin over alt coin for the future investment
958  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Creating New Coin or Invest in ICO on: October 15, 2018, 02:14:35 AM
I think there's some misconception about the mindset, creating coin supposed to be helping users transaction become more efficient not just focus on the profit, if you don't have any great feature then just invest, creating coins is easy but to make the coin successful is very difficult
959  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC for ICO, is it good or bad idea? on: October 14, 2018, 09:16:17 AM
For me kyc is a bad idea, it tainted the purpose of crypto currencies that prmoise anonymity feature, and I dont feel secure to submit my data over to unknown site, many people against the kyc procedure and some used the fake id, the one that need kyc actually the developers and the teams, it can prevent scam project
960  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin future looks brighter on: October 14, 2018, 01:54:50 AM
Bitcoin mining is very important will give benefits for the entire community, without the miner there nothing bitcoin circulate in the whole world.

Mining is one of the most profitable way to earn bitcoin ti guve positive brighter for the people theywant to achieve their goals.

You make a good point, I think this can increase the bitcoin efficiency, but right now its not the only problem that we face, I think to make bitcoin future brighter we need more investors and more legality around the countries, the more efficient mining equipments is good, but I don't see it as priority for now
