941  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: December 24, 2022, 02:50:45 AM

I even forgot to comment, but the same here.

I only bet on this Lakers VS Hornets game.
I believe he is the most predictable (or maybe not) that the Lakers will win!

Let's see what the future will show us!

By the way, good luck everyone!

Lakers are the slight favorite even without AD, bookies seen the advantage and with how the readers and bettors show their interest for Lakers it is something that it might take place.

Still going to depend on how the players will take care of their business and how they will organize
both the offense and defense, looking to see if how LeBron will orchestrate and execute their game plan.

Good Luck!
942  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Polygon (MATIC) to $20? on: December 24, 2022, 02:12:04 AM
yes , that is what I also said from above that it may get to that but will never this soon , because the market and even Bitcoin is experiencing that bad so how come that Matic will take place on that matter.

we can deal with good potential or Polygon and no doubt it has though maybe in the next 5 years?
The next 5 years could happen, but to get to the price of $20 I think it is very difficult, unless matic can burn half of their supley, we just wait what if the bull market happens later
as long as there is bullrun if they could somehow reduce their supplies surely that'd be quite easy for matic, the thing with matic is that it's already having such good momentum until the massive dumps comes in and hold it from growing in term of value any further, surely $20 could gets realized in the future.

Far from now, but who knows, the market is still down and the current value is way far from that huge target. The important thing for now is the development and how the team is still working with the usages.

The more established the project, the better for the future. The actual value will be realized
once the usages are being maximized and with how the team will market the project to
the end users.
943  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 24, 2022, 01:35:06 AM
Yes, it does seem within the realm of possibility that the Bulls will blow up their roster.  I don't see them wanting a piece like Anthony Davis to build around though.  It's too much of a risk.  Just after reading the article about Zach LaVine, there's another one about DeRozan wanting out...

https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nba/demar-derozan-considering-massive-trade-request-from-chicago-bulls/ar-AA15AlbM

The crazy part is that they seem to be disagreeing how they should play together, but they both want to go to the Lakers...  I think we may see a bit of a pissing contest on who will be able to get to the Lakers.  It would be a bit funny if they both ended up being teammates there again...
Dejavu Kyrie and KD drama.  Cheesy Same issue, both want out. Could it be the coaching staff or the management?
DeRozan is getting older, he wants that championship badly and as fast as he can, but in LaVine's case is hard to understand. He had become the face of the Chicago Bulls and it's going to be difficult to see him in new jersey.
I thought the Bulls were doing great with so many good roleplayers addition. But after their guard Lonzo Ball is injured every piece of the puzzle seems to be falling. Still no timeline for his return.
This might become a 3 way team deal if ever the Lakers do want AD to be traded while another team wants to rebuild using him.

Funny to say, but we might see one of them out from the Bulls jersey. I can understand your point with DeRozan as he is old, and he really wanted to have that ring but moving to Lakers?

I'm not sure if how he can help if the trade will be for Davis. Thinking about seeing him,WB and LeBron all
are players who need to hold the ball and create space to make a good basket. I can't see any good chemistry
playing them all together.
944  Economy / Economics / Re: Is long-term employee retention a losing battle? on: December 23, 2022, 06:47:10 AM
Currently I am still working in the office, and this is my third place after I graduated about 6 years ago, I have worked in a place now about 4 years and things that make me survive because now looking for work is very difficult, besides that there are many places in this place Things I can get because the company does the maximum thing to maintain its employees, small things are they give gifts on birthdays, and often eat together so as to make a like family.

If you have that knd of attachment and you are happy with the company then better to stay though there are many other opportunities and you may find something that will give better compensation.

But as lng as you are happy and you feel the comfort with your employer and your co-workers maybe being
satisfied is a good way if you are not willing to take the gamble in finding new place to work.
945  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 23, 2022, 05:14:24 AM
True, it's not guarantee that you will get the 1st pick if you even try to tank for this season and think that you will be the first one to select next season's pick, it's not the way the NBA works

The expected 1st Round draft pick rookie might be a game-changer for those teams that will tank this season but since the NBA lottery does not work the way where the worst team will automatically get the first pick, still we can assure you that those tank teams will get at least the Top 5.

But honesty, it's hard to tank even intentionally. These worst teams should just enjoy the game and let their players just do their best in every game. Look at the Utah Jazz during their first several games. They expected to tank this season but some of their players were able to step up.

Seems that even they will try to intentionally tank the chance of getting the 1st round draft is not a guarantee, though it's really a game changer for the team who can manage to surround that rookie with good star/s or role players.

It's good to see those teams who anticipated to be tanking, but they prove that they are competitive
with the new sets of players.
946  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cock fight game on: December 23, 2022, 04:19:25 AM
Hey, calling that a natural way why chickens should die because of human consumption will trigger the vegetarians haha.

Might be different views but since cockfighting is a big gambling industry, it won't really stop.

Aside from that, if that operation is legal and all procedures are strictly being followed, we just have to live with that or ignore it. Cockfighting operations also provide several jobs for some people. Again, if anyone sees that as unpleasant, simply ignored it.

Here is my take on it: Every year, billions (if not trillions) of chickens are being killed to feed the people. And how many get killed in cock-fighting championships? At the most a few thousands? We can't even compare the numbers. And secondly, we can't ignore the benefits from cock fighting, such as the preservation of rare breeds by the participants. And finally, cock fighting is a part of the culture and generates jobs and revenue for the rural population in regions where it is being practiced. All these benefits can't be swept under the carpet.

Oh well, there's always opinions and factors that people can raise about this concern. I'm sure we will hear another opinions regarding to your statement and it will either contest or be agreed by other readers.

Either legal or illegal, it's tough to stop those who love betting using this kind of gambling.
it's a traditional gambling from other side of third world countries.
947  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Must it be the last game? on: December 23, 2022, 03:47:02 AM
The solution is to take the winnings you have. If you doubt that the result will change, you don't have to wait until the end of the game is over. But most people will probably wait until the match is over because they are sure that the results will match their predictions, so they think the win will be big. Cashing out money when you win is the right move because you can take the winning money. Apart from that, we also know that the match's final result can change at any time and here, we must be wise in dealing with it.

Exactly, nowadays most reputable casinos who also offer a sport book they can offer you the cashout option and if it is always the last game, well then do not wait for it until it ruin your game and go ahead and use the cashout button and get the amount of money you win from the games that you have actually won.I know that the human nature has in its roots greed as the most powerful desire but we have to fight it and be rational, rational means to get what you can get without relying on luck to get more.
Yes, instead of losing our chance to cash in on the win, we should use the opportunities we have to get the money. We can place other bets that might give us a bigger win than before. Sometimes I do it too, especially when I have to leave home and can't see the match to the end or when my analysis doesn't go well so I have to press the cashout button instead of losing my money if the match goes differently than before. If we often analyze each team, it will hone our feelings. Our feelings will tell us what we should do if something goes wrong. But greed is often stronger than feeling and makes us experience defeat.

Well, what you say is very logical, but according to the person who sees it from the correct point of view, and what you say works both in the game and in trading, in trading one can also make decisions of that style and it is not wrong, so when a person feels that they have that sixth sense that makes them uncomfortable, they must withdraw before they lose more, well, they must do it before it is too late, that is something that very few do because they maintain hope that everything can change and turn out in our favor, sometimes it turns out that way, but most of the time that hope does not prosper much, and that does not only happen here, as I said before, in trading as well.

Yeah, both sides do have that same fate if you don't know how to control the right way, but there are some who managed to take advantage and make that good decision in the right timing.

For sure, there are people who believes that they can project the future with better anticipation
things that can give them a good advantage while playing so with trading, but not all have that same
kind of skills, most of the time it's emotions that triggered their decisions.
948  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals! on: December 22, 2022, 09:24:56 PM

This kind of bonus is not a regular bonus. It's like exclusive to the player, most probably he's a high-ranking player on Duelbits who deposits and plays with a huge amount of money.
It's like a bonus for the player that somehow encourages him/her to be loyal and play more on the site.
If you think you are eligible to for exclusive bonuses from them, maybe you can message them and discuss the terms.

His friend is vip level 14, meaning he has more than 1 million wagered!
Thanks for sharing that hear coldbrewz, it is interesting to see and it shows, that if you are a high roller, you will get a lot more perks like freebets of 500$. All big casinos sites should have some exclusive benefits for people that wager millions of dollars.

Yeah, after reading his reply and see that his friend have that huge wagered amount while playing inside Duelbits, regarding to perks it's a competitive instinct for casino site to bring something like this to keep the players.

With that huge wagered, giving perks or free bonuses is not hard to any casino site who wanted
to keep the loyalty of the gamblers.

949  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cock fight game on: December 22, 2022, 08:07:20 PM
Without a doubt cultural differences can lead to different views about this, while some people may not see anything wrong with this some others may see in this a form of animal cruelty, personally I am not fond of this, and this is because if the whole point is to gamble some money and get some fun then I can do this in other gambling games without the need for any animal to end injured or dead, so I think of this as completely unnecessary.

Yes. Cultural differences will be there. And therefore we need to refrain from imposing our views on others and respect their personal freedom. Irony dies a thousand deaths when someone sitting in the US or the EU wants to lecture on someone else who is part of a tribal community in Indonesia or Vietnam regarding animal cruelty. These people are practicing their customs for many thousands of years, suddenly some outsiders want them to stop doing that. And the same people who lecture them have no problem with animal cruelty that is going on in the mega corporate agrobusinesses in US/EU.
I agree that there will be cultural differences because if we look at Asian countries, this cockfight is still frequently contested. This is difficult to stop because this tradition has existed since ancient times. And that will depend on each person who gambles because we also cannot impose our will on those still playing cockfighting, especially if most of the population there really likes playing cockfighting. We could get into trouble if we keep asking them not to play cockfighting and even if the government asks them to stop, it won't be easy either.

To add up, even there's already a law against it, in some parts of third country places, traditions indeed are really hard to stop, people who are involved with cockfighting will continue to bring the fight illegally.

Knowing gamblers, they will find ways as both enjoyment and gambling is being catered
with each cockfighting activities are being held, either in a legal arena or even in a small
venue where illegal cockfighting is being catered.
950  Economy / Economics / Re: Use your money wisely. Invest or Deposit ? on: December 22, 2022, 02:39:52 PM
True, by using money for things that are useful then we will not regret it in old age, as long as we are young and easy to find money then save it all, if it looks big then use it to buy land and then build a shop building that can be rented out so we have provisions if it doesn't work anymore, don't regret being wasteful.
Wasting money is really not recommended in life, because saving money for necessities is a better thing to do. Because it is for yourself in old age so it is not a problem if you have to save money from now on in terms of gathering supplies for yourself. Because it will be very painful and sad if when you are old there are no provisions to enjoy anymore. So use existing assets in everything that can circulate money continuously and the rest is saved for old age.

If you have a good savings your life is more easier, that's the fact, especially if you'll going to explore your opportunities in finding a good way of investment using your savings.

not easy but doable if you are really kin in finding the best way that might be fit to how you desire
your success, focus and always be open in every learning that you will encounter along the way.
951  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 22, 2022, 01:29:03 PM
Warriors is tanking faster as I expected. They don't just lose but they got completely destroyed. First New York and now Brooklyn put ridiculously high numbers on their basket. Nets made almost 30 points gap in first quarter. That first half 91 points was the franchise record for Nets. In third period Nets slow down for obvious reasons and Warriors made the gap to just 21 points but it went up again after Patty Mills came in. Morris also scored with high percentage. Durant and other starters rested for last quarter.

Knicks' 8 game winning streak end tonight but Nets have 7 game streak now. Let's see if they can pass this. It might be close for them as well as they will play with Bucks and Cavs back to back. It's hard to recover from that fixture.

You can’t just lose the best shooter of all time and expect your team to continue playing at the same level. Not having Stephen Curry is a massive loss and I expect it’s going to be rough in for the Warriors until he returns. They should still be able to beat the below .500 teams and hopefully can keep themselves in the playoff race for when they get Steph back.
Worst, they don't have Wiggins, two of their high-paid players are gone so I would not expect much from them.
The only wins they could make is if Jordan Poole can go hot but that's just too much for him as he is not really consistent yet. Well, he is young so he will learn more.
Who else is out there in the Warriors team where we could expect to have that offensive effectiveness? None. Klay Thompson is also in and out.
Maybe I will try going back betting for them when they let Wiggins play, but I would still take a handicap just to be sure.

I don't know but for me Nets players are more inspired and aggressive winning this game, the offensive productions are well balance and if you are a Warrior defender you will be surprise.

The rotations are solid and even without Kyrie role players fill his shoe and give the Warior tough
night.

With the Warriors, Wiggins productions is also a good factor since the main scorer is not there
to lift them, they need more players to step up,.
952  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: December 21, 2022, 07:19:02 PM
But I'm taking the Knicks.  Since thibs has changed the rotation knicks defense has been great and won the last 7 in a row.  If golden state was healthy I'd think otherwise but west coast trip coming east is not the easiest travel especially them they aren't that good on the road at full strength.  Think knicms win by 10 here
Same, Even without Curry and Wiggins, the Warriors can still be a threat but at the same time, I don't think Poole would drop another 40 points which made me take the Knicks -4.5 spread. The Knicks aren't not that great at home that's why the odds are this close but their last few wins at home have been within 10 points or more which is a good sign that they can cover the spread comfortably.
Congratulations mate because it turns out an easy win for the Nets. Warriors are very unpredictable, one day they'll beat a good team by a huge margin but the next day they lose by a huge margin. The struggle of the Warriors will continue once they missed their star players especially Curry. Poole was already playing the way he was expected to play, he just need the superstars to support him.

Maybe it's a typo error if you mean Knicks, then yes, they dominate the game and win it at home. Warriors can't win it with a few players with a good game, while others are not making it. I see your point with other stars.

They needed each other and not just one who will step up and the others will not perform.
The struggles continue and without Curry, the winning chance shows a very tough to achieve.
953  Economy / Economics / Re: Is long-term employee retention a losing battle? on: December 21, 2022, 10:28:32 AM
The presence of many job seeker applications at this time makes anyone tempted to send applications, moreover to send an application it only takes a few moments then wait for the call for an interview, even during covid there was an application that immediately gave tests in stages to online interviews and if you pass, of course you just have to sign employment contract.
The purpose of making an online application application is to make it easier for corporate agencies to collect documents from each applicant and also for their convenience from those who apply without having to come to the office to submit a job application. In fact, this is indeed a natural thing to implement because considering that currently in certain countries there are still very many unemployed people who are looking for work, so the company made the application to make it easier to check and verify applicant data in full.

A good way to sort those capable and fit to what the company is looking, online submission or application gives the applicant a good chance
to land a job without travelling and spending more.

If luck permits and the company is also good with online interviews, that again is additional perks
that will lessen the expenses of the applicant. Most of the time employers are after to those who
can fill the position who are really eager to work and learn for them.
954  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 21, 2022, 09:58:17 AM
.... they are now ruled like a technical foul where the player will shoot free throw and get possession.
One of the approved rules in the NBA that actually makes sense. I'm glad they made changes and add a harsher penalty because the old one was just unfair. I wish they apply it to the whole period of the game and completely remove that "last two minute exception" which allows a take foul without a free throw penalty.
Yeah, and they become stricter with traveling and ball carry too. It's near the rules of the Fiba and Olympics already, that unsportsmanlike rule.
I think it's better. More fast break and transition plays can take advantage of the game especially teams with young stars and strong foot who can advance the ball in haste.

Oh and guys, you can now vote for your favorite star to enter the All-Star event.
https://vote.nba.com/en?cid=nba%3Avote%3Aown%3Adig%3Asite%3AHomepage%3Aallstar%3Aasv%3Avote%3At-gpm%3Au-glo%3A&%24web_only=true&_branch_match_id=983903729203143241&_branch_referrer=H4sIAAAAAAAAA8soKSkottLXTywo0MvJzMvWy0tK1EvOz9VP1XeucC009nBL9S9LAgBY%2FAwDJgAAAA%3D%3D

I am still filtering my list as I have so many stars that I want to join the event.  Wink Enjoy voting.

Thanks for the link and like you, I'm also having a hard time placing my vote. There are many deserving young stars who can be considered to be part of the All-Star while old-timers are tough not to bring them in as well.

Going to sort and see if I'll be able to complete every position, just like what I've said there are
lots of options and that makes it harder to decide, maybe a good combination of old and
new rising stars.
955  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 21, 2022, 08:04:47 AM
Dallas Mavericks, for instance, I don't think they won't be able to play in the playoffs.

We can have a better preview of what teams might enter the playoffs once the All-Star break commences. It's roughly about over a month and a half to go and team standings might show big changes, especially in the Western Conference where the competition is really tough.

Referring to the Dallas Mavericks specifically, there are games where I am really upset about their performance but still, I believed they will able to enter the playoffs. Although I'm expecting them to compete in a play-in tournament.

After the All-Star break, if there are movements of players, if trades will take place, we might see more good competitions with all the teams that are trying to push their position to move forward in the second round.

Can't predict which teams will be in the list, especially in the west where there are lots of super-teams
who can bring big surprises with a huge winning streaks.
956  Economy / Economics / Re: Use your money wisely. Invest or Deposit ? on: December 20, 2022, 08:44:15 PM
If at this time we have routine money and income, then we should never use it for things that are useless or wasteful, it's better to focus on making the money as an investment, we don't know whether we can still be active or not, when we can't active earnings, we still have income from investment.

your thinking is very wise. and I think that's the right step to do. i.e. make preparations while you still can. like investing while we still have income. But doing so might be a little difficult for some people. but even though it is difficult it does have to get used to it. because we will even get older and when we are old, of course we will retire. and that's when we can enjoy the results of our investment for a long time to be used in old age.

wise as indeed, investing while you are young will give you a much more comfortable life once you decided to retire, you can enjoy your money
as early as you can if you successfully do the right thing with your money.

There are many ways that you can explore and the chance of succeeding is possible if you are
good at sorting out the ways and you act in the right timing of your investment. The options are
always depends on how you see the success will favor you.
957  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Bearish market the right time to buy coins? on: December 20, 2022, 08:30:58 PM
Of course, bear market is everly the best time to buy coins at discounts. But matters eventually is the potential of the coins you are buying.

Only solid coins can exist and overcome bear till bull season. It is important to take note of this.

It doesn't end with just buying the dips of these coins. Will you be patient for bull? Making profits off cheap coins need a lot of patience. You must be a strong and diamond hand to make gains off holdings.

Yeah, that's how you should think about this investment. You need to work with your research and find the right coin for your investment, not because the market is falling, you just buy and hold coins.

You should sort and pick potential coins that will bounce back after this bear season,
if you will manage to pick the right one, then you are good at going and entitled to earn
decent amount of profits.
958  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins worth investing at dip on: December 19, 2022, 09:59:38 AM
It's easier to said than done. Sure you can choose every coins in top rank on coinmarketcap. Depends on how you trade long or short, the profit doesn't just come right away. If we are talking then analysis, indicators and whatever strategies take a part of how well you will trade on that moment. It's difficult to actually learn all of that and even if you know how it works, it doesn't mean guarantee the profit.
what is easier here when there is nothing to choose but her own?

lol we must consider giving names like Bitcoin or Ethereum or Ripple at least.
I do appreciate your Bitcoin and Ethereum picks here. But why Ripple?
I would appreciate you more if you said BNB because it has promising potential regardless of the FTX and Binance going around here.

To be honest, the Bitcoin price is still dropping every day although not that much. So if you are still afraid with the risks and want to take slowly so would recommend to wait until there is a "clear sign" that we are out of bear market. Otherwise, you can go hard.

Yup, if you are willing to go long even experiencing more dump better to stay with Bitcoin and wait for another bull to come back, there are always good bounce when the market start to pump.

In regard to other alternative assets, it might be better to analyze and assess if you are willing to invest
your hard earned money and take that risk or just stay with Bitcoin and wait.
959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 WNBA Discussion and Betting on: December 19, 2022, 08:51:25 AM
Nice news but I will directly go to the possibility that he will come back and play before that retirement, still young and he can add
spice to the league, so better bring that excitement to all her fans.

We might see her back wearing a WNBA uniform, not sure what will be her setup but I still
believe that she missed the game and after that psychological test, she and her agent
will decide what will be the plan next.

Well she surely will be back to ball but maybe after that assessment on the psychological test, but for me, I think she needs to get rehab for using illegal drugs instead of getting that psychological test, in my opinion, the WNBA needs to have her a penalty in using it in Russian soil, even though it is legal in the US it doesn't mean she can do whatever she wants in a different country,
Let's hope they will, just to be fair with other players because I think there are also people who are not happy just like you.
Also, just to make it clear that this should not happen again or be repeated by either her or other players just because their country will protect them.

Yeah right, she should learn or not just her but everyone should and not to repeat this same mistake when travelling outside your country
US can't protect them everywhere.

Let's focus on WNBA and the chance of seeing her playing inside the court again,
it will help her to forget the issue that she was during her detention inside Russia's soil.

Golden State defeated Toronto 126-110 in the match that stephan curry did not play, and it was their 3rd away win this year. Jordan Poole was the star of the game with 43 points in Golden State. Draymond Green and Klay Thopmson also contributed to the win. Los Angeles Lakers also managed to beat the Washington Wizards at home, albeit hard. Anthony Davis did not play in this match due to injury. LeBron James was the architect of the victory with 33 points.
I wish we will see that kind of consistency from Poole, honestly, I didn't expect them to win because of their bad performance in their previous game, but it was so surprising that they not only beat the Raptors, but they also dominated them. Poole is just inconsistent, that's why it's hard to trust the Warriors, it's good to trust them if they are a heavy underdog just like their game against the Raps.

Poole's contributions today are huge, but he needs to have more like that to fill the shoe of Steph. They needed to work hard and make
more wins to make sure of their position for the next round.

I like the way they play today, taking shots that have more confidence and you will see from them
the hungriness to win, they are playing with pride and they are fighting together as a team.
