941  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Experiences with CoinsMarkets.com? on: January 04, 2018, 01:14:45 PM
First exchange without twitter or facebook or reddit.
942  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: coinsmarkets on: January 04, 2018, 01:11:48 PM
It's not required for an exchange to have an ANN thread here but the most possible reason is they want to focus their support on the main site since coinsmarkets is just a new exchange, I'm pretty sure they don't have the big numbers in terms of staffs

They haven't even twitter or facebook.

Anyone could withdrawal coins?
Why they haven't any official thread in bitcointalk.org?

I wasn't curious about this coin because i couldn't understand it very well.
Where is the wallet?
Is it POS or POW?
Centralized or decentralized?
What are advantages and Benefits rather than bitcoin?

The Official Segwit2X Mining Pool Created

A lot of miners supported Segwit2X fork, and now a lot of pools have been formed. Since we can’t guarantee the reliability of these pools, we organized the official Segwit2x mining pool. We take responsibility for the security and reliability of mining in this particular pool, excluding the possibility of payment terms breach by third-party organizers. You can work with all other pools at your own risk, but we are not responsible for the actions of their organizers.
Join the official Segwit2X pool following this link:

http://pool.b2x-segwit.io/getting_started

You are so newbie. A pool with maximum diff 1 = lack of knowledge about Cryptocurrency

any ati miner?
951  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Prove Bitcoin is not a bubble on: December 27, 2017, 01:19:50 PM
it is not a bubble only because the price is purely based on speculation and what other people are thinking about it.

That is precisely the definition of a bubble !

Value is a personality thing. Bitcoin has $1000 value for me but it has $50000 value for most people. This is a reason why bitcoin value is $16000 now. Law of Supply and demand.

But don't forget the manipulation and the whales. Perhaps your mean about bubble is artificial value that means artificial demand and supply by the whales.

954  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is DEAD on: December 26, 2017, 12:37:59 AM
A couple days ago I posted here because of a transaction stuck in the void for which I paid 30 dollars fee.
Now, one hour ago, I sent a transaction with a 130 dollars fee.
ONE HOUR, STILL ZERO TRANSACTIONS, 130 DOLLARS FEE.
I'm sorry to write this, but Bitcoin is DEAD.
I've been a defender of it up until now, but we've gone too far.
Who the hell is going to buy Bitcoin when the word will spread?
When people will try to get their Bitcoins from the exchanges, they'll meet this reality, and Bitcoin will be dead in DAYS, after the word will begin spreading.
Just please don't go on BCH, let's try to move onto better technologies like Byteball.
BTW can anyone tell me what should I pay to move my Bitcoins now?
I have now 4 Bitcoins stuck in the void.

Yes. you are right. Bitcoin is dead.
But you have a choice. pick up bitcoin cash until LN version release
955  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Waiting for two weeks, no one confirmation! on: December 25, 2017, 09:38:37 PM
I've made a transaction of 33 dollars worth of BTC 14 days ago as of now with an abominable fee of 12 dollars and still no one confirmation! Preposterous! How long should I wait?

Do increase fee.
Mempool is full of high fee transactions. so you are in the end of line.
956  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people says gold is better? on: December 25, 2017, 09:36:01 PM
Why people says gold is better?

Because it is physical and human nature loves physical things.
957  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin = $1 Million by 2020 on: December 25, 2017, 09:27:03 PM
I think that itīs impossible, 200k would be even pretty optimistic. With the high fees managed currently, the bitcoin will be used for less people and less business everyday. Unless the fees are reduced, I donīt see a bright future for BTC (and probably will be replaced for an altcoin, no BCASH).

Big movements are result of whales. more whales and more financial institutions come, more value for BTC.
People have less impact on BTC price.
958  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Long Before Transactions are Rejected? on: December 25, 2017, 01:40:59 PM
Rather than acceleration, is there a way to force my transaction to get declined?

Your transaction will be automatically declined just wait for few more days.

I don't think so. all transactions will remain in Mempool until get confirmations. But there is some ways for spending it with higher fee before the previous transaction gets any confirmations.
959  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Long Before Transactions are Rejected? on: December 25, 2017, 01:33:46 PM
How Long Before Transactions are Rejected?

Transactions never rejected.
You could use salvagewallet to restore Unconfirmed bitcoin then spend it again with higher fee.
960  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 12/28 SegWit 2x - Move BTC to wallet? on: December 25, 2017, 01:27:43 PM
Hi folks, I was wondering if it is worth moving all my bitcoin from Gdax and Gemini into my Electrum wallet before the SegWit 2x fork on 12/28? I have read that this is the best way to get any new currency that will be added. I am just wondering how important this is since the network is already overwhelmed and the fees are high.

Which coin will be created at 28/12?
Bitcoin just get new features like Lighting network. there will be no fork (like Bitcoin cash). no new coin will born again
