Apparently Niceman has lost his motivation again. Just turn it off yourself in the settings.
Hello,

I'm sorry, but you are right about motivation. I have much work now and plus it's summer and very hot here... I just can't push myself to turn on my PC.
Sure I will start to work on this project more involved when will not be so hot.

BBQCoin fixed, daemon was crushed. Also some minor issues also fixed now.
To get personal help - write to coinminepw@gmail.com.

PLEASE implement Cryptsy API when you get time/motivation to do it. It would be so good, thanks!

I heard that staking 5000 btcd will make you 1btc per day. Is this correct?

5000 BTCD will get you 1 BTCD if you stake them properly.

Clarify on the "stake them properly part" please
946  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Re: Der Aktuelle Kursverlauf on: July 27, 2014, 10:05:35 AM

Grin

hey guys, I have lowered the payout threshhold to 0.5 BTCD on BTCDPool.com - next payout cycle will include everyone over 0.5 BTCD

great news! i hope see my payout very soon!!  Grin

I've mined there for a day which should result in well over 0.5BTCD, yet still no automated payout. He also isn't replying to message or in the threads. Will stay away for now until he responses and clears things up.

Have you used my pool? The official BTCD multipool: http://btcd.xpool.ca

Cheers!

Why not implement password d=XXXX so that competent miners can set their own difficulty?

949  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How to build your own Multipool - the Open Source Way on: July 25, 2014, 03:25:30 PM
One important thing is to let the miner chose his own difficulty via "d=XXX" as pwd. Is this already build into NOMP?

how can a 10 MH/s Scrypt rig produces 864 GH in one day.  it produces 10mh a day ty

Same way a train going at 50 miles per hour would do 1200 miles per day.

There are 86400 seconds in a day, if that helps.

ok now i see you multiple it by seconds  thanks  Smiley

That's what the /s means Wink

So for Zeus it would then be zus@//./COM1:342?

Make sure your slashes are facing the right way:  \ instead of /  But yeah, that should do it.

--set-device zus@\\.\COM1:Clock=342

It's actually working better with forward slashes. Otherwise you need to escape them but even then it might not work.
Forward slashes shouldn't work at all. The code looks for backslashes explicitly:
https://github.com/luke-jr/bfgminer/blob/65a7398457a858a9a22d5bb3b309d1e7bf21a2d4/miner.c#L537

Would this work in a config file?

"set-device" : [
     "zus@\\.\COM1:clock=342",
     "zus@....",
     ...
]

Looking forward to next months payment changes and seeing the new rates!

Can't really imagine rates going up as there isn't really any significant competition, and there are already so many people that are part of the campaign

I doubt it would go up, unless there was a surprise in the bitcoin price or something like that.  Most likely the signature campaign module will change, from pay per post to pay per activity/rank, which I think would be a great idea Smiley
If this is going to happen mean pay per activity then its much better and its bring down many useless posts

Exactly.  9/10 people enrolled in this campaign are posting for just the payment, you can tell it by their words...  If you reduce the payments, watch, they'll post A LOT less.  Stunna didn't want it like that, he wanted people to do their regular posting, and just ignore their signature.

Exactly. I think it would be a good change.

How exactly is activity calculated btw?
954  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Fury/Blizzard tuning and mods on: July 23, 2014, 08:31:25 PM
Thanks for the info.

Here are the heatsinks I used.

http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Cooling-kit-72pcs-For-Bitcoin-Miner-Antminer-ASIC-180GH-s-DIY-Aluminum-Heatsink-Cooler-Reduce-About/1661008735.html

The thermal tape on these isn't bad. The heatsinks do get super hot so its working. They use 3M and Sony tape.

I wonder if this would work on my rack. Pair two furys together, back to back. Then place them parallel with the rack and put a fans on either side. One blowing one sucking. Maybe would have to close the sides or something to make a air channel. I think the PSU shouldn't be on the rack. It producing way too much heat because its a zero fan, even at high load the an doesn't spin much.

If you're really feeling adventurous you could relocate the power connector to the other end of the board so that all the cables are connected to one end.  Reducing clutter, and allowing for a somewhat larger fan to be mounted on the one end to blow air through both units.  Check out post 596 on page 30.  Sorry the pics are so big, took them with my phone and it creates huge pics.  One of these days I'll resize them.

Yeah was thinking about that to go with the 3" hole and extra 80mm fan.
The 40mm fans work great but now my office sounds like a server room. Sad
Starting to think oil is the way to go...

One word for you brother: Novec

Can I use BFGMiner with 2 different types of ASIC devices at the same time?  Currently I’m running 10 AntMiner U2’s, I just ordered a few Rockminer R-BOX units.  I’d like to run all from 1 instance of BFG.

Yep, Currently have 3 NanoFurys (F1/F2), 23 Antminer U1/U2 and 6 r-boxes all running.

I could use some help writing a config file, mine seems to only save pools.

Do you specify different speeds for the U1 and U2?  I have both and I have everything running at the same speed because I couldn't figure out how to run some at 0981 and others at 0781.

Code:
bfgminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://stratum.bitcoin.cz:3333 -u worker -p xxx -S antminer:all --set-device antminer:clock=x0781

To set individual frequencies on those beasts, you need to use:

-S antminer:all --set-device antminer@\\.\com#:clock=x####  so you'll need to know the COM#

So for Zeus it would then be zus@//./COM1:342?

What are the exact commands/config options to set Zeus Blizzard clock rates per device?

Yeah this sounds to good to be true. Even if they ship September these would ROI (if bought for $) in under a month probably 2-3 weeks even. The one thing they did tho was update their website to reflect the current Watts, which they didn't do in here.
