9441  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: December 29, 2016, 08:25:44 AM
Thank you freebitco.in as I can confirm that I have won the second highest reward of 20$ on your site rolling the number 9999. Loved the winning amount and I highly recommend people to roll in the site. Easier and simpler. When it stopped at 9999 I actually could not believe it, I thought it was a error but when my account was credited I knew it was not a error. Thanks once again for making my year end on a high.

http://astrohacker.com/ahc/bitcoin-is-the-economic-singularity/

After reading this, the scale of black market and digital economies and the effect Bitcoin will have on them I am pretty certain we are going to be very wealthy men -- even with a sum as small as 10 Bitcoins. It's just so hard to believe. We are only in the beginning storms with these significant rallies from 10 to 20 dollars. I will not be surprised to see prices from hundreds to thousands in the coming months.

The world just isn't going to be the same and we have been blessed as the pioneers.

What are you going to do with your Bitcoin wealth once your coins hit upwards of $10,000 a pop?

You had one he'll of a prediction buddy, if you would have accumulated at that rate by now you would have been crazily wealthy. I really wished had collected few coins that time and now sit back and watch it grow. If I had grown rich with Bitcoin would prefer to have 50% used for charity work. Rest 30% for me. And with 10% I would fulfill someone wish to go around the world. But it's never too late let's hope we all will rich.
9443  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Value Predictions on: December 29, 2016, 06:31:49 AM
Firstly this is the wrong section, it should have been posted in the speculation section. Right now I feel btc should have a upward trend. Don't see it coming down u think it should stay stable around 900 and rise about 980 and then it will be interesting to see where it goes. If you don't need money hold it, if you want profit sell it. Buy later at lower rates. To. Early to say where it could end.
9444  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Article on Bitcoin in my Local Newspaper!! on: December 28, 2016, 05:25:19 PM
To start with,my local newspaper is so local that it doesn't cover half of the news happening throughout the country.Boy,I'm sure they were astounded by bitcoins beauty that they actually cared to write about it!

I'm not going to translate the entire article because there is nothing new that we need to know.Basically,it states how demonization in India has given "good days" for bitcoins. And there is a chance Indian Government may legally approve the use of bitcoins in India!

The actual article :

Hahaha the language was not one that we all would know. Thanks for the translation buddy. This news has been one of the key factors to the rise and it's good for us that bitcoin has taken up a leap of faith. I am very happy that bitcoin is rising, and considering India is a huge country, if even 50% population start using it, bam it's shoot up the btc like anything. But op you did misguided us, use better translation next time.
9445  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do we need ebay like site to promote bitcoin on: December 28, 2016, 04:14:12 PM
Though we are thinking about eBay what about buying android apps and apple store. Or apple starting to accept Bitcoin payment for it's phone. I personally feel eBay is a great platform, but we need more from eBay then just allow a payment, I feel it needs to be expanded to Apple and Android apps payment. Then it will be more fun. But when will that day come?
9446  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: December 28, 2016, 02:35:37 PM
jamalaezaz is already a director of a large number of Signature campaigns and other Advertising campaigns.

Is one knows what is the real reason behind disagreement between jamalaezaz and CGC project owner!
The issue is that both jamalaezaz and the developer are not much mature (just notice their behavior) CGC is from the beginning acting as non professional sometimes i feel like they are going to scam but the escrow of them is a security for the investors. I think jamalaezaz have to leave this job to other expert managers as I am seeing that he is not much expert in that field.

Indeed, he is tring to be active here, but he was fooled by many scam projects, impluse, bitcoingo, he didn't do research and claims bitcoingo is legit, looks like a sex-straved virgin, lmao. One words, he is incompetent, because he hungers for money, not morally work in this community

LOL.. someone getting viral here..
BTW. this is not hard to understand that the owner falsely accused me..
first because I asked him to escrow the funds. but when he deny to use a paid escrow i offered him to control the funds for him for free but when he deny that too. I posted a small declaimer on the thread that "That there is no escrow so join on your own call"

the second reason was OP sent me some changes to be done on the thread but I was offline so I took some time to response him. but he was already started spamming and blaming me every where to abuse their patience.
and he never replied me back. and publicly fired me. (LOL)

You are right in that point I mostly get scam projects. maybe because I am an easy target for them. LOL.. but the truth is I never applied to work with them (there is no any greed of money. because in most cases I got nothing). Impulse and most of others offered me that position themselves.. (I've paid everyone on impulse myself.)

This is the worst thing that can happen, and it's seriously annoying to see that owners just turn their back and walk away. The campaign manager then has to pay for no fault of his. Though it's nice on your part to pay, but do consult two known managers yahoo and lupthing they will guide you very well. No one's like to be scammed and we all hate such cheaters, hope you won't be cheated again good luck.
9447  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I regret not being a employee of this company. on: December 28, 2016, 01:45:19 PM
So on a nice Christmas party time, drinks on the house I and my friend were discussing about Bitcoin, he's from the finance field and he generally knows a lot, so I thought I would use my Bitcoin knowledge to surprise him, wish I had not done it lol, so when I told him to invest in Bitcoin, I thought he would ask what it is and he replied he has one free bitcoin already. You can imagine the look, one free bitcoin here collecting satoshi's we hardly reach to a Bitcoin and he already has one. It so happens that the firm where he works decided to give bonus and they decided to give one free bitcoin to the selected staff and they have promised to give more in future that's so cool. You get salary, plus a Bitcoin perks of a employee life....
you mean a gift of bitcoin and working for bitcoin are not different?. The company can also decide to give him $1000 or £1000 by next year that doesn't reduced services or goods exchange for penny or cent. You have to view bitcoin as money if not we would always find it difficult to explain to those ignorant in it.

The company gave them the option of having Fiat or a Bitcoin. And they see it as a currency only what else would you see Bitcoin as. All took Bitcoin only and they have made a smart move. Though yet not many companies do it. But it will be fun to see if this trend picks up. 2017 could be something more for all of us and the Bitcoin in particular let's hope for the best.

1. I think this is a fake troll story
2. It would be funny if that one bitcoin was worth than the whole company one day

Hmm troll? From which part sir? This is an actual event that's happened. And I am at bitcointalk.org not Facebook that people will believe anything, here each post is given lot of consideration and it's foolish and sucidial to post troll or spam posts here. If I were to make a troll trust me, it will be super good.

That's a generous company, plus the company have a cool way to spread bitcoin around, giving away 1 btc is like give over $2k in the future and it's surprised come from finance sector, which means it's accept bitcoin or have a plan to adopt it?

Tell your friend to storing in safe wallet Wink
How can you say thats a generous company since the company just gave $950 as the bonus? Thats an usual thing and any one will get it if he deserves that. I will say the company is generous if they give 10BTC bonus to their employees.

Yes any company that gave around 100 employees a btc is generous according to me, this was just one of the bonus they get more as per their work. So isn't it generous and oh trust me the company value is huge more than one can even think of.

Long live the Queen, this is one of the best decision of 2016. Finally we will be able to show Bitcoin can be used for good purposes and will shed cover on drugs claims. This shall open Bitcoin to a whole new market and it's effects shall be huge. We shall reap benefits from this move. I just hope it happens fast. This would be a incredible move. Let's hope for Best

This year seems to be really good for me I made a small profit of 0. 02085680, thought wouldnt gamble now but ended up gambling anyway. Any one done this last bet of the year and then started betting or its only me who has this impulse. Let's hope we all win more and more with every bet.

Though this campaign has been discussed many times, but I was under assumption it was locked and the campaign was not going to start but today again it pooped up and people were posting to join. Weren't there some problem with their signature and all. I feel it should be updated in the main thread to join or not to join for every ones sake. It's creating lot of confusion.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1731061.0
I'd not list this campaign for several reasons, one being they only pay a part of their participants in btc, and the others in their own token (or not at all),
there's no way to know whether you will be paid in btc, as it is for the "best" posters in each rank.
This thread has made an effort to only list bitcoin paying campaigns, and such a half/half-scheme should not be made an exception.

Further, there's the issue of having a self-moderated thread,
the previous problems with the runners (first the copying of signatures by medUSA, then the spamming over the problems with jamal),
and a few other points. One may just look at the "better you hurry up and start posting a lot" part in their OP, which is a direct incitement to spamming.

(If we're to list the campaign, I strongly suggest giving them the warning asterisk at least.)

Hey thanks Lupting I also had concerns about it being listed, but what I was observing was people were just joining and they could be clueless if it wasn't here, I should have added yes list this only with the astrek mark if it's can be, or maybe the staff could just post a warning in the thread so new and existing campaigners can be aware what they are getting into. However I will leave it to you all best judgment what to be done with this campaign but for sake of all who are signing up a possible warning could be done.

9454  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I regret not being a employee of this company. on: December 28, 2016, 05:07:14 AM
They not free coins.

The company was going to give them a cash bonus but then they probably decided that giving it as bitcoins is a cool idea. Of course it doesn't make it a bad act it just like giving euro's instead of dollars. Have they guessed that bitcoin will rise to 900$+ or not isn't important. What matters is that do the employees trust bitcoin? Looks like your friend trusted bitcoin and didn't cash out immediately after having one. Bingo.

Upon hearing the story, I will assumed that OP's friend only knows the idea of bitcoin not that much. Because he got it from the company bonus so cashing it out will takes more days in process since they didn't know where will it be exchanged. Since it was told to the OP, I will assumed again that OP makes some view pointing to the current price of bitcoin so he makes some advices not to cash it out.

By the way to the OP, how your friend received the bitcoin from the said firm?

Well I have clearly written that as a bonus he received it and the firm has always been keen to give high rewards and around 100 were given as a trial. They have good knowledge of Bitcoin it's a finance company, they always keep update with the current revolutions for their clients and all. No I did not advice him, indeed he had told me two weeks back btc would cross 945 before year end and today it did. There's a good story of a frog living in a well thinking that's the only world, but sadly there is a outside world he did not see. You can't just rely on your thoughts, you need to be in the open to see what could be other aspects.
9455  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: #EarnBitcoin on: December 27, 2016, 05:36:59 PM
It is already easy to spend BTC. It is becoming easier to buy and sell BTC.

To close the cycle and have a real Bitcoin economy we really need some way for millions of people to be able to earn BTC.

Thankfully there is a simple way to achieve that:

https://www.fiverr.com/   millions of gigs, already takes Bitcoin for funding (via Coinbase)

https://www.uber.com    Over 1 million drivers worldwide      (works with Braintree/Paypal)

https://www.airbnb.com/  34.000 cities, over 1 million listings (works with Braintree/Paypal)

https://www.freelancer.com/  15 million users. 8 million projects. (works with Paypal)

If we can get just these 4 to do Bitcoin payouts for contractors, it will give access to millions worldwide to earning BTC. Anyone with a house, a car or able to work will be able to #EarnBitcoin.

The payment processors are already in contact with these companies and have been offering the option to receive Bitcoin payments... how hard can it be to offer the option of Bitcoin withdrawals/payouts?
Fiver and freelance is not that easy to earn, it really requires luck and effort to earn it. I would suggest signature campaign as a far more effective method rest i feel are slow or difficult to earn. So I think you should add signature campaign also. Rest is faucet site and get few, 100 refs then only one can earn.
9456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: December 27, 2016, 05:10:58 PM
Go guys!
In many cultures and countries is gambling consider as a bad thing which only the poorest and silliest ones do. Many gamblers try to hide that they gamble from their friends and families and feel really shameful for that. Do you consider gambling as a bad thing? Do you feel shameful or proud for being a gambler? If it is shame what you feel what do you about it? How do you hide you're a gambler and who do you hide it from?
Let others know!

Shameful for what? Gambling is not wrong it's just a passion there's nothing wrong in it. Yes many countries do not like people who bet but it's nothing wrong, what's wrong in gambling it's your own money and you should have full right to bet or double bet, no need to be ashamed by it. I say just gamble wisely don't overdo and only play with extra money not your regular.
9457  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do we need ebay like site to promote bitcoin on: December 27, 2016, 05:01:31 PM
Ebay has played a great role in the success of PayPal in becoming leading payment processor.Do we need a similar ebay like site to popularize Bitcoin and make it leader in money transfer?

I had asked this before will eBay accept Bitcoin. I even had asked few sellers will they accept btc as payment however they said a no. They were just not ready for it. Plus the issue is we don't get guarantee if we do it. There is no doubt if eBay starts using Bitcoin it will shoot up. Every second guy will know about Bitcoins. But it's very difficult to see this happening, though I am dying for this to happen. It will make shopping so convenient. But for this we as customers have to make noise to get them on board.

Here's the whole conversation thread on Twitter:

https://twitter.com/bchesky/status/813408027445489665

This is a tactical move as you can see. The entire conversation is on Twitter and a large audience will be viewing this. This they have done to indirectly to say that Bitcoins as a payment gateway is Coming. They will want to test the response this gets. The number of retwweets, people who post to them for getting Bitcoin. They are studying the market response and then shall get it. I feel this is indeed a welcome move. Though it hasn't happened yet, it shall happen in 2017 let's hope.
9460  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I regret not being a employee of this company. on: December 27, 2016, 11:52:16 AM
I am a bit curious how can a company give free bitcoin, does your company involved in bitcoin business, it is really rare that a company could give the employee bitcoin, how if the employee doesn't know what is bitcoin, what will the company do? will the company exchange it to fiat and give it to the employee? I personally thinks giving your employee a bitcoin is not a good idea

Your question answer has already been written in my post, it's a financial company and its very big, I can't name it though. Of course they and their employees do know about Bitcoin and they were asked to choose between Fiat and Bitcoin all opted for Bitcoin. I don't know but why would it be a bad idea, the value shall rise, the employee shall be more happier to work hard. More people will come to Bitcoin. So explain why it's not a good idea.
