961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH TO 100$. on: August 15, 2018, 08:17:32 PM
If "crypto" were to fail then it will be down to the people didnt care about the product only the price. There are some good projects out there that are actually working. Trouble is they are getting lost under all the coinmarketcap noise as the everything gets more and more diluted.

Ethereum made it way too easy to spin up some shit token and its only got worse from there. The general technology is fine and there has never been so much active development going on. But people need to play around with this stuff not just trade it.
962  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All Alt Coins are a scam. on: August 15, 2018, 01:50:44 PM
Not all altcoins are scam, mate. Many of them yes, but not all.

However, we need to move away from 2017 crypto thinking as investors need to get smarter now in 2018 and going forward.

FUD 2018 = Listen to what was said and do your research to see if its true instead of calling anything considered negative FUD!
HODL 2018 = Fuck that hodl shit, and take profits on the way up and set stop loss so you do not make any or very little losses, instead of holding and holding till you either lost 90% of your money or lost all your profits and end up break even!!
963  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: now bear market again. wait for november on: August 14, 2018, 06:04:27 AM
This is a huge correction happening due to Alts bubble burst (not BTC bubble) created on speculation, but alot of mainnets coming online now like ONT/Ven/Nebl/SPHTX/Tron/Tomo etc etc but with hardly any enterprise adoption and zero revenue and zero profits in next 3 to 5 years. Many Alts are going to zero with few strong (still speculative) ones surviving at much lower market cap. Some ico's are raising $40million usd based on just whitepaper and people forgotten that just $1 million is ALOT of money and now paying the price for our greed!
964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto market is all time low on: August 14, 2018, 06:03:13 AM
In the end all this drop will be good for Crypto market, as a lot of "cheap" and scam projects will just dissapear when the drop is over.

When you see a falling knife, you don't try to catch it but better to move away completely and avoid potential mess than trying to catch it and avoid all these possibilities of injury and just let the knife fall to the ground safely before picking it up! Alts bubble has burst with prices dropping with no support in sight, so let the soon to be capitulation happen, then dust settle and then pick up from there safely remnants of what is left after this shitcoins bloodbath is over, which is not anytime soon.
965  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's price is not stop falling! What to do? on: August 14, 2018, 05:57:55 AM
In my opinion, LET THE PRICES DROP. You know what I believe will happen? New waves of investors will "get in" while they can as prices plummit which will certainly help to stimulate prices. Also, we all know how BIG of a player the PRESS is when it comes to spreading the word about cryptos. In fact, poor press coverage is responible for many ICO failures.

My reason for mentioning the media up is that no news is bad news; no coverage is bad coverage. As we see such large percentile drops within a short period of time (this is the lowest of the year) more outlets will begin to release publications covering the topic.

This means, quite literally, that the declining prices can (and probably will) not only have a turning point but a strong one at that.
966  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to get more profit? on: August 13, 2018, 08:27:58 AM
Best tip is to HODL and don't invest more than you are willing to lose. Once you put money into this consider your money lost. Don't' go crazy and stare at your phone or check every 5 mins.

You can take a good profit if you are an experimented trader, but trading is risky. For a better sleeping during the night, just invest in good projects and HODL.
967  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: HODLing will get you nowhere on: August 13, 2018, 04:07:00 AM
I don't agree with you, mate. HODL is very good if you invested in strong projects and have enough patience.

History has proved that there are ups and downs .

As long as there is nothing preventing the crypto currency from going bankrupt there is a good chance it will break ATH again , but it could take as long as 2022.
968  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Psychology when entering the Cryptocurrency market. on: August 13, 2018, 04:04:18 AM
If there's one thing that crypto teaches you, it's not to be naive.

With that being said, I'll spill a speculation about how the market will develop based on personal observations:

The boom from Dec 2017 will probably be replicated. On a smaller or larger scale. But it won't be soon - maybe Q2 of 2019.

Keep investing only what you can afford to lose, be patient and you will be rewarded.
969  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the world ready for cryptocurrency? on: August 10, 2018, 04:02:24 PM
World is ready to adopt crypto currency but it needs time for Crypto market to become mature.

Most people did not even hear about crypto, so it might take time for crypto to be understood and adopted. Hype from 2017 is over, but I see this as a maturity sign as if crypto is here to stay we should see it as something stable, even at lower prices, not a pump and dump scheme.
970  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is better than Bitcoin? on: August 10, 2018, 04:18:45 AM
Asking if Ethereum is better than Bitcoin is like asking if a car is better than bread. If you're hungry than a bread is better, if you need to go on a trip, a car could be better. Same for BTC and ETH. They serve different purposes. ETH has been created for smart contracts, or it is not the case for BTC. It is not that one is good and other not, they are just different.
971  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $12000 to invest in long term. Which coin? :D on: August 08, 2018, 08:35:04 PM
Personally, I would not go all in on any coin... just remember, crypto is very much like the stock market - no one really knows if it is going to go up or down or in between - so my long term position is to never spend anymore on crypto than you can afford to lose Wink

With that being said if you start investing what you can now each month, by this time next year you can have a diverse little crypto portfolio to trade & make $$ with.
972  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: holding and prices will go up ? on: August 08, 2018, 08:28:06 PM
Hodl, yes.

However, more important, be sure to keep your wallet on a external usb / hd so you don't lose access to your coin in the event of hardware failure or whatever the faq Wink Trust me, i wish someone would have told me this early on - it ended up costing me almost $10k in my first year of crypto investing alone lol.

Best of luck, mate!
973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All Altcoins dump again? on: August 08, 2018, 04:21:06 AM
In Crypto market all is about offer and demand. If offer is much more than demand, then price goes down, and vice versa. However, this is how Crypto market worked since its beginings. When investing in a volatile market you assume and expect these fluctuations, but if you believe in what Crypto can offer, then keep your holdings and/or buy more cheap altcoins/btc and stop panicking at every single dip.
974  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you suppose $8200 may be a sign for the bull run? on: August 07, 2018, 04:09:17 PM
I wouldn't bet on 8200$ or any other threshold as a bull run as market is still manipulated by whales, news etc.

Do you think that if whales decide to sell huge amounts of btc (=> bear market) or to buy huge amounts of btc (=> bull market) they will check any sign/support values/thresholds? I don't think so.
975  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your experience in trading? on: August 07, 2018, 06:22:55 AM
When you trade you need to be careful at market's manipulation. Whales are creating fake trading volume in a market to signal false interest.

Traders can do this by buying and selling amongst themselves to artificially increase trade volume especially dominant in exchanges with low fees and altcoin markets
976  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any advice for a newbie? on: August 06, 2018, 06:11:30 AM
Personally, I recommend that you first bookmark a lot of websites that release up to date news on crypto and definitely look into various projects. Make sure to ALWAYS read a whitepaper thoroughly before throwing money at anything. You'll soon see that crypto is really a never ending cycle of new information, I wake up, read and repeat lol. And never invest more than you can afford to lose. Good luck!
977  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin To Buy Now? on: August 06, 2018, 05:49:37 AM
I already bought and continue to buy during this dip Stellar: now this is pretty much a bet at this point. But I believe many companies will want to use blockchain but they will not know how, and they will look for people who are already doing it and just "implement" their solution. IBM uses Stellar and IBM is, like it or not, a well known company that is respected. It's somewhat an "approval" that Stellar is useful -- even if it's not. I'm long on it, but maybe not extremely long.
978  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: where to invest? on: August 06, 2018, 05:47:38 AM
If you don't want to invest your money in BTC, but in altcoins, I would recommend you Monero: developed in the CryptoNote protocol, Monero is a complete different monster than Bitcoin in the sense that they don't share the same source code (which is true to almost all other coins out there). Monero aims to be money, pretty much like our friend Bitcoin, but the difference is that their blockchain is completely opaque and your privacy is protected. While you can easily see the balance of any Bitcoin address by literally pasting it in a website, with Monero you can't see the balance of any address. Not only that, but when you transact pretty much nothing is available on the blockchain as metadata: your address is obfuscated, the amount of the transactions as well, and the recipient address too. Monero brings a high level of privacy that the world loves and will love. Government officials, criminals, billionaires with money in fiscal paradises and concerned citizens will choose Monero over Bitcoin, so this is why this coins has future and I'm long on it.
979  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What you do when someone say bitcoin is illegal thing? on: August 03, 2018, 02:53:03 PM
Bitcoin is illegal as cash is. People that don't understand it or lost the train to buy cheap spread FUD. If you believe in BTC's potential just ignore these "illegal" haters and keep hold or accumulate more BTC as long as price will not raise again.

As long as Internet will exist, Bitcoin will exist, too. And as long as Internet will not become illegal, Btc will not be illegal, either.
980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token goes down. Wait or sell? on: August 03, 2018, 05:47:59 AM
Mate, there's no a general answer to this question. If you hold btc, eth or any other strong token, then you can keep them without issues as sooner or later they will recover. If you keep sh*t tokens (and here is up to you to decide) I think it's better to sell as they might never recover.
