Who expected Leverkusen to be fighting for any top positions? I would guess that Bayern, Dortmund and Leipzig should cover the top three easily, and Frankfurt could do something as well after a great year last season. I think Leverkusen had a good season as well last year but that was last year and they do not look as good anyway.
I didn't expected them to lose both games of course, but I didn't expected them to be a dominating power neither, so this is closer to what I imagined than to the top. It is a money game now, and Leverkusen doesn't have it, so it is really hard for them to build a roster that could rivalry anyone in the long run, which is their trouble.
I have expected that they will be for sure will playing for the 5 first positions in the table. I thought that because they keep Patrick Schick and also got a few more players , so yeah they have disappointed me .
