There are 2 port numbers given in the announcement thread details, port:6889 and rpcport:6888

I think rpcport:6888 is for solo mining .conf file.

Can anyone please tell me what the port:6889 is for?

Incoming/outgoing connection port.
964  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying and selling bitcoins on: March 29, 2014, 12:38:47 PM
Localbitcoins.com but prices are little bit higher than exchange sites like bitstamp.
However you can get bitcoins quickly. (Choose seller with good feedback)

966  Economy / Speculation / Re: How to buy Tons of Bitcoins and Drop the Price on: March 29, 2014, 08:05:29 AM
1. Buy lots of BTC from a large holders via a broker a price of "Bitstamp + 10"
2. Dump 10% of it on Bitstamp --> Price goes down
3. Rinse and repeat

I have a feeling it is happening right now.

You forgot to add one point,  "Buy coins back when price goes down."
967  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which Bitcoin Client do you use and why ? on: March 28, 2014, 07:09:43 PM
Electrum.

Why?

1. Coin control
2. Easy and minimal GUI
3. lightweight
4. No dependency
5. hierarchical deterministic wallet

977  Other / Meta / Re: Image proxy broke :( on: March 26, 2014, 05:49:20 AM
Thats clearly a good thing, but I'd prefer being IP'ed than it not working typically. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=355387.0

Even now it attempts to pull from the cache and just says nopenopenopenopenope until they all time out. I'm sure if I refresh 20x it will eventually work once, but we might as well go back to an ASCII world with that success rate.
Can't see a single image there.

Press Ctrl + F5, All images are working.
978  Economy / Auctions / Re: Auctioning coinstart.io on: March 26, 2014, 05:35:05 AM
You should have made it a mining guide or a information site for new developers ie: giving info about different algorithms etc

Anyways goodluck.

980  Other / Meta / Re: Show deletion count of self-moderated topics. on: March 26, 2014, 04:00:43 AM
Simply, dont allow self moderated topics in marketplace, selfmoderated topics are fine as long as money isn't involved.
Companies announcing hardware, software being announced, potential scams, trojans, viruses, unhappy customers being silenced, protocol development discussions... there's a lot more going on than just marketplace where there is potential for abuse of self moderation.

Hmm, then admin should remove it completely. Censorship isn't good.
