I am not really hopeful after reading this.

9602  Bitcoin / Press / [2015-07-14] Nasdaq Plans Blockchain Experiment On Its Private Market on: July 14, 2015, 08:10:30 AM
Whether or not Bitcoin will be the be-all and end-all of money as we know it, remains to be seen.  That decision will not be made for many years to come, even though it opens up a lot of interesting and promising possibilities.

9603  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Cost of Bitcointalk Accounts. on: July 14, 2015, 08:08:22 AM
This is how capitalism works. Even on the bitcointalk.org board. The former objectives for being a place of responsibility and full of integrity are not followed by 99% of the board users anymore. And as long as the board administration allows to sell accounts, everything is fine.

..reading lasts two posts, I just realized, how disgusting is this account market.

actually, accounts are valuable, because somebody trusted previous holder of acc, so he decided to risk his reputation and show to everybody, that he trust him creating public note. and now, some retard can buy it for "few bucks" and scam dozens of people, because owner just failed in integrity and responsibility. This is only one trading platform in the universe, where is something like reputation/trust system and is officially allowed to buy/sell accounts..omg

9605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Qora | 100% POS | Assets | Names | Voting | Automated Transactions on: July 14, 2015, 06:57:05 AM
Here is my link to the Bter and Poloniex scam threads: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1120444.new#new

Thanks! I made a complaint.

The price dump seems to come from the bugged traders on Polo and Bter which want to get out of those exchanges by selling all their Qora.
Acutally a good place to buy more Qora when we would have gotten a reliable exchange.
9606  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bter and Poloniex - Scam or Incompetence on: July 14, 2015, 06:54:40 AM
I pm'ed Poloniex two times in order to get a claim when Qora deposit and withdrawal function will be activated again. I've waited more than two weeks without getting a response. Deposits and withdrawals have been deactivated since over four weeks now. That's really bad. Also the communication. I'll not use Poloniex anymore for any trades.

9610  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Affiliate Programs. on: July 14, 2015, 06:26:08 AM
This sounds great and good for promotion because it is a unique one what should get more attention.

Trees Delivery is a new luxury cannabis delivery company in California. Trees is looking for affiliate experts who can help to promote the service which recently soft launched.

  • Trees customers order 150$ - 300$ at at time, so 20% commission even from one order is 30-60$. This goes much higher for high value customers.
  • The founders have background in Bitcoin industry, so affiliate payments are in Bitcoin. Trees naturally accepts Bitcoin on the website.

9614  Economy / Economics / Re: If Greece defaults on: July 12, 2015, 12:40:07 PM
No, I don't believe that. Europe is weak and their leaders are feared of making rational decisions. They will extend the time for Greece to show its willingness to enact reforms. Meaning that Greece will get hidden payments again to win some time. As we know this will not help to improve the situation but this is what Europe is doing since five years.

Looks like tomorrow is it! The plan either works of Greece is out of the Eurozone. If they get kicked, they are going back to worthless Drachma. It will be the best chance Bitcoin has ever had to get a foot in the door and grab some business from the Drachma.
9615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone know the exact order of the first 100 alt coins released ? on: July 12, 2015, 09:39:31 AM

9616  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC on the rise again ! on: July 12, 2015, 09:37:11 AM
Each economical uncertainty has caused an increase of Bitcoin price since 2010.

Could you show me a proof that the Cryprus crisis was not associated with the Bitcoin rise back in 2013?

There is a direct coherence with the crises in China, Greece and Venezuela with the rise of Bitcoin again.
Only around Greece, there were so many news article about the option to introduce a cryto currency as a parallel currency. This directly affects Bitcoin price.

How do you know Greece affects the price? It's kinda the same as when the first huge peak started to over $200 back in mid 2013. People said it was due to Cyprus. But that wasn't the case.

@DaveyJones

Was ist das Problem mit der Vergangenheit bei Unobtanium?

9620  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks Suck on: July 12, 2015, 09:23:37 AM
It is hard to follow your intention with this thread by not providing information why your bank makes problems.

Are you from Greece?  Wink

I just visited the bank... denied until Monday.  Embarrassed

Global adoption can't happen soon enough, what a crock of shit this fiat banking system is.
