PSA says 65 Day turn-around -time....but don't hold your breath.  Lips sealed

I sent it Express because of the value of the card and that said an 8 day turnaround time  Cool

Glow in the dark is sold.

I sent a few things to PSA yesterday.  I'm crossing my fingers for 10's.  Not going to check the grade online; going to wait until it arrives in the mail.

I know a lot of it has to do with centering and how the card was printed.  Cant wait to see what I get back.

Frank, this is a completely different animal than the coins.  I have never gotten a graded 10 holy grail.  I have had a 9.5 gem mint which is so close.  Best of luck for that 10.  Let's know Smiley  I hope you get it

Thank you Smiley  Yes that is true!

Did you find gold border in hobby box or ??. Is there any rhyme or reason where to find cards?

Sorry I completely missed your question.

No I didn't pull any, unfortunately.  I went retail and bought them on ebay.

I'm avoiding the glowies too, that one has pictures of it in the dark, the glowing part seems off center and messy in spots....doesnt take long to conger up a fake.

They kind of all look like that though  Undecided

looks like the border should be slightly raised

Selling one case for .17btc 12x24x8 cards in it first come first served.  Will throw in four white base cards ensuring you'll get at least one Cryptocurrency card unlike  me with first box.

Why arn't you cracking it all open Smiley

how can you tell if a glow in the dark card is manipulated?  I read that in your other post that you said you are avoiding them because of that.

I'm looking at buying the one on ebay right now.  I'd like to have one of each variant for my collection (less the 1 of 1's).

The neon effect is done in such a nice way that it actually looks lit.  weird, I know!  Smiley

It's hard to believe that isn't lit up neon.  Great job!  Any chance of seeing a video showing the piece?  I'd love another perspective.

I know, crazy isn't it?  Sure, I'll post up some videos this week of both the prints and the metal panel

Talked to Beckett, person on chat told me print run info is usually updated about two weeks after the initial release.  So he said it should be updated any day now.  Shocked

Most of us that have collected sports cards over the years knows if one card gets hot, we will crack open our boxes we put aside to hold, to look for a special player card knowing if we find the hot selling card it will pay for our box.   In this case #83 is the hot seller and it appears here is what is still left out there.  20 redbacks, 3 reds, 1 printing plate, 1 silver, 1 glossy, 1 wood stock.  Not much of the super rare.  Probably around 15 of the black mini's, and 30 of the no #'s.  This is as close as I can estimate at this point.  My best assumption is that the super rare remaining cards are either unopened or being held for a much anticipated sky high price after beckett lists pricings.

Good luck fellow treasure hunters Cool

Do you know when they anticipate listing them in their price guide?

Does anyone know how many of the standard card size, black background versions are being produced?  Apologies if this was already answered elsewhere; thought I read it was estimated to be 500, but now I can't seem to find where I read that.

I have heard the actual production numbers don't come out until later once all the cases/boxes have sold?
I am sure other collectors deeper into the baseball card scene know more... Cheesy

Ah,  makes sense.  Thanks MJ

They do look great as if they light up.

Maybe a real neon one would be the way to go. And what would that cost? Any idea Frank?

Not sure, I don't know of anyone who would be able to do that.  But it would be awesome!

These are just metal panels, they do not actually light up.  It's just the design that makes it appear to light, but they are not real neons.

All panels are also now bubble wrapped and we're using these fresh new, thick boxes, with additional bubble wrap rolls placed inside to prevent it from sliding around.  And of course the fancy new do not crush and fragile stickers  Wink

confused! does it appear to glow as in is it just painted in those particular colors (and doesn't look anything like the image) or it looks like the image.

Also since no neon, i assume they do not appear so in dark?

lol it does not glow at all.  that's just the coloring of the design.  but yes it looks exactly like the image.

here's a few of the 'neon-style' prints we have that you can use as an example.  as you'll see they actually do look like they are lit up.  it's just well designed, I suppose  Grin :

i understand that, my confusion it. Do they really look as lighted up in real as in picture you added?

Huh?  Huh  That's exactly how they look.  Those are the printed prints.  The image is not modified in any way.  The neon effect is done in such a nice way that it actually looks lit.  weird, I know!  Smiley
