Lets Be More Proactive
Let address the elephant in the room. Some are concerned with the recent daily price drops. Seasoned investors keep telling the newcomers to calm down and everything will be fine, but it is hard for investors to calm down when they see the price slowly drop each day. I agree ups and downs are part of any financial product and unfortunately down days and down weeks are part of the game. However, that does not mean we need to sit around and watch the price slowly drop and not do anything about it. I witnessed the same behavior with the Mint community, and after weeks of delusional blind "faith" I cashed out. It has been nearly two months and they are still waiting for the price to recover. I respect the opinions of the other seasoned investors but we need to be realistic. Investors want to invest in winners not "losers". It is hard to convince investors we are a winner when they see the trend line pointing downwards.
At the end of March and the early part of April we were proactive at getting the word out about BlackCoin, and we were able to see clear results from our efforts. Last week and this week we did not do any promotional activities similar to what we previously did and the downward price reflects that. Our press releases and promotional campaigns do work and you can see the results for yourself. Just match the days and weeks of our press releases with the market history and you will clearly see the effect of our efforts.
We have had a lot of positive news over the past several days and we have not capitalized on that news. Next week we should send out two or three press releases. We have to keep pumping news out every single week like clockwork. Every time we are added to a new exchange, or a new partnership is established, we need to issue a press release.
Some people have this misconception I am against the multi-pool. I would like to publicly state I am not against the multi-pool. However, I believe too much focus and dependency is being put on the multi-pool. The multi-pool does not buy BC at the current sell price, they wait for dips. So this idea of the multi-pool buying up all the BC is just a myth. Also, please stop assuming that everyone who mines on the multi-pool is not dumping coins back into the system. I cannot express enough that crypto-currency is big business. Just because we do not have conclusive proof that there is a coordinated attack against BlackCoin doesn't mean it is not happening.
So can we finally open up discussion to other creative ideas and solutions. The multi-pool and press releases are just a couple of tools in our arsenal. We have a very talented community and I am sure we can come up with more solutions if we brainstorm together!
We as a community have to stop fighting with each other and start working together. Everything we have accomplished has been because of the work we have done together.

 BlackCoin Is Going To Wall StreetThis is an outline of what my wife and I have been planning for a few weeks. Please take a few minutes to read.
I have been promising something big in May, and today I have decided to present my project to the community so together we can make it a reality! My wife and I have been working on this project behind the scenes, and it has never been done before in crypto. We want BlackCoin to be the first Cypto Currency to pull it off!
So what is the big idea?
We want to hire 50 attractive women dressed in BlackCoin T-Shirts, and for 2 hours these women will converge on Wall Street and hand out Wall Street Edition BlackCoin cards and sell sheets describing BlackCoin.
Everything I have asked this community to do has lead us to this moment and now it is time to explain my master plan.
1. I rallied this community together to fund the press release projects so we can introduce the BlackCoin brand to mainstream media outlets, and at the same time learn how to focus our energy towards a single objective.
2. I created the BlackCoin card because I knew in the future we needed something "physical" to allow people to touch and feel. It is hard to get people to believe in something that only exists virtually. The cards are loaded with software that will make it easy to buy, manage, and trade BlackCoins.
3. I rallied this community to contact strategic companies like Vault Of Satoshi because I knew for us to succeed we needed a direct Fiat to BC service here in North America.
4. Now that step 1 -3 has been accomplished, everything is in place for the main event.
What will the main event accomplish?
This plan is to kill 3 birds with one stone.
a. The cards and sell sheets will introduce new investors to BC. Although Wall Street is the location we do not care if "whales" on Wall Street invests in BC or not. Wall Street is just the backdrop. We want BC to be associated with wealth!

Based on many of the opinions here - IconicExpert - I'm afraid you're going to have to accept that although you have done much and have much more planned... that it is not the only reason people are invested in BC, but that a decent group of those who are support you and your initiatives. At the same time that I agree that problems were created from the 'inside circle' - as it stands today - this isn't the way to resolve that. Do what you do best, let them do what they do best... and let the rest of the community do what it does best - support whatever it believes is in it's best interests. Human resource problems are the least of our concerns at the moment... survival and stability are.
There will be time as a community to call for censure or 'management changes' if we survive our first year of existence... if not then all of this was a waste in the first place - but if we start worrying about who get's the bronze bust in the foyer... we're all going to be holding $0.001 BC's not $10.00 BC's.
My ego is not the big, and please point to an instance where I remotely implied that people are solely here for me? Others have posted if I go they are going, but I have never implied "I am the all mighty of BC". Is technical innovation and a slick looking and profitable pool enough to succeed? NO!
Even if there weren't a literal sea of copies, clones, scams, etc... with more being launched every week - we have to also understand that BlackCoin is what it is... and that is a copy of previous work which has been (and currently is as rat4's post indicates) being developed into much more than just another altcoin cloned from BTC (or more accurately an amalgamation of BTC and NovaCoin with some adjustments).
We do not always agree, but I agree with you 100% here. I have been saying this for several weeks. Too much focus is on the multi-pool, and very little attention is being spent on PR. Some people assumed the multi-pool would be the shield that keeps BC price stable, and that is been proven to be false. So instead of certain individuals trying a different approach, instead they double down on the idea of the multi-pool. I think we need to pursue as many avenues as we can. We do not need to wait for the "core" group to make decisions. I have people that send me PMs with impressive backgrounds and resumes, but they do not want to come forward because they do not believe in the core group. Over the next few days and weeks you will see some talented people start to bring new ideas to the table. "If you do what you have always done, you will get what you have always gotten...." |

From what I have seen, lots of people here voice their opinions about the actions of others. Sometimes with moderation, sometimes not. I'm an adult. I'm able to discern what I would like to take notice of, able to filter the signal from the noise. Some days that takes a bit more effort than other days.
Sometimes I agree with what you say, sometimes I do not. Sometimes I disagree with the majority of what one person says for a long period of time, and then all of a sudden, I find myself agreeing with some of the points that they make in a particular post, to the extent that I learn something from what they say. That makes my life richer.
What you read as consistently negative, I often simply read as critical ( as in someone, often eloquently, expressing an opinion ). The fact that I do not agree with all that is said does not make me despair and give up on BlackCoin, because I am an adult and can make up my own mind.
If we start voting to ban people, we need to define the parameters within which we expect people to behave. We need to become law makers. Once you start making laws, you get into endless divisions. I'd be willing to bet that the majority of people here, who have an interest in this technology, are here precisely because they are sick of operating within a set of parameters defined by someone else.
There is a reason why people have been banned from this forum in the past. He can post all he wants in another thread or IRC, but the majority of the people here want him gone. He is a drain on morale and he dissuades people from joining in. People want change and business as usual is no longer acceptable. |

Just so you know, barabbas here parked himself on the Spaincoin forum and attacked and abused anyone trying to support that coin. As the value went down, he then ranted that the value was so low it was now an insult to try and gift it to anyone Spanish. I guess he's moved here now, I suggest hitting the ignore button rather than drawn in to these pointless squabbles.
Ignore is good for regular posters, but what about newbies or those that just lurk. Exactly my point. There are so many people who just "watch" what plays out and decide not to come forward because of the constant negativity and criticism. Many of us who coordinate here on this forum would like to be able to organize ideas and thoughts without someone who has never contributed anything criticizing everyone's efforts. If you took the time to read his posts you would see he doesn't only focus on me. We need talented people to come onboard to help BC grow. I thank everyone from IRC who have been working on the Multi-pool and other projects, but BC has become bigger than the multi-pool. You cannot sustain a multi-million dollar currency solely on a multi-pool. There are very talented and enthusiastic people ready to come forward with ideas that will move us forward.

I would like to see this community work together again to achieve our goal of being #1. I do not expect us always to get along, that is not realistic thinking. But I hope we can respect each other and debate issues without resorting to personal attacks.
I will be presenting a public plan within the next 48 hours to start us back on the path of being #1.
I would like to point out that many members here want to participate but are cautious to present ideas because they do not want their ideas to be brushed off or criticized. I agree we need more unity and less bickering. We also do not need people whose only goal is to post negativity. I think healthy debates are good and needed, but tearing down others ideas and demoralizing them serves no purpose but to slowly destroy the community.
I know some of you do not agree with me on everything, and some of you do not agree with my tactics, but I think everyone can agree that we must encourage creative thinking.

BlackCoin Card Software Sneak Peek As I promised earlier today starts open dialog and transparency. A few cards have been shipped out already, and today we start ramping up shipping. The cards are being sent First Class Mail in large green & white letter envelopes to reduce delays at customs. As everyone know First Class International mail is a bit slow, but it is also the most cost effective method of shipping. Customers will start receiving cards by early to mid next week. Please note there were over 300 pre-orders so please have some patience. Everyone who purchased cards will receive their cards in the order they made their purchase. First come first served.
Now I would like to share some information about the software that is pre-loaded on each card.
Q: What is the Blackcoin Card and the software loaded on it?
A: The BlackCoin card aka CEX Card (Cyrpto-currency Express Card ) is an 8 gig or more USB wafer with special software pre-loaded on it. I realized that the average person interested in using crypto will have a difficult time with all of the steps involved with getting started. So I developed software similar to a "CD-Rom Start Menu" with everything in one place. So when the end-user inserts the USB wafer the start menu automatically launches and the end-user is presented with everything he/she will need to get started.
The cards are pre-loaded with the standard BlackCoin wallet, and the custom software I developed will automatically update the wallet client as needed. The end-user will never have to worry about downloading software and updates. Also, the blockchain is loaded on the card so the end-user can use the card on any PC without having to wait hours to download the entire blockchain. I do recommend that the card be inserted a few times a week to keep the blockchain fairly updated.
I also realized that the average individual needs to be tech savvy to use paper wallets, so I have eliminated the need for paper wallets. The cards can be used for both hot and cold storage!
Q: How do I use the card?
A: The user inserts the card into any Windows PC via the USB port. The start menu executes automatically and the end-user is presented with a wealth of information and options. The end-user can then transfer funds to the wallet software pre-loaded on the card as they would normally on their desktop. Once the funds are transferred and the wallet is encrypted, the end-user can take the card on the go.
Q: Can I use the BlackCoin card at my local store?
A: CEX Cards are not intended for point of sale transactions. They are intended as a "Cypto for Dummies" solution for the non techie. This is the first time the end user can get started with crypto in just a few minutes without having to search the web for solutions. Also, the cards can be used as gift cards because they can be pre-loaded with BlackCoins and then given away to friends and family.
The software I developed is dynamic and can be updated in real time. The software can remain up to date without having to update the core components. However, there is also functionality to update the entire application if needed. I will upload more photos after last minute tweaks are finished. Please note the tweaks do not affect shipping since the software that is pre-loaded on the cards updates automatically and does not have to be 100% perfect before shipping. As fellow professional (although not much into software for "everybody" but a special business niche) I must say that i like it, looking really smooth and easy to use, people will love that soscial media integration. In case the card runs of out spacee == the blockchain file does becomes too big one day, what's the idea? are you going to use some compression + local cache a secured connection to an online blockchain file/server possibility of a custom location for the blockchain file (and maybe a built-in OpenVPN client, so the user can e.g. connect to their own sever) A it is for the casual user it should be easy, so probably the best thing would be a to give them a new card with a discount for recurring customers or so if there isn't an easy AND suecre workaround. Should be some time until that becomes an issue, but i can't be wrong to think about it already  Good questions! Since the cards are 8 gigs we do not have to worry about it in the near future. However, I haven't thought of the perfect solution yet. But by the time we get close to filling up space on the cards me and/or someone from the community will have figured out a solution. |

Please note the tweaks do not affect shipping since the software that is pre-loaded on the cards updates automatically and does not have to be 100% perfect before shipping. I need your help!!! BlackCoin Card Software Sneak PeekAs I promised earlier today starts open dialog and transparency. A few cards have been shipped out already, and today we start ramping up shipping. The cards are being sent First Class Mail in large green & white letter envelopes to reduce delays at customs. As everyone know First Class International mail is a bit slow, but it is also the most cost effective method of shipping. Customers will start receiving cards by early to mid next week. Please note there were over 300 pre-orders so please have some patience. Everyone who purchased cards will receive their cards in the order they made their purchase. First come first served.
Now I would like to share some information about the software that is pre-loaded on each card.
Q: What is the Blackcoin Card and the software loaded on it?
A: The BlackCoin card aka CEX Card (Cyrpto-currency Express Card ) is an 8 gig or more USB wafer with special software pre-loaded on it. I realized that the average person interested in using crypto will have a difficult time with all of the steps involved with getting started. So I developed software similar to a "CD-Rom Start Menu" with everything in one place. So when the end-user inserts the USB wafer the start menu automatically launches and the end-user is presented with everything he/she will need to get started.
The cards are pre-loaded with the standard BlackCoin wallet, and the custom software I developed will automatically update the wallet client as needed. The end-user will never have to worry about downloading software and updates. Also, the blockchain is loaded on the card so the end-user can use the card on any PC without having to wait hours to download the entire blockchain. I do recommend that the card be inserted a few times a week to keep the blockchain fairly updated.
I also realized that the average individual needs to be tech savvy to use paper wallets, so I have eliminated the need for paper wallets. The cards can be used for both hot and cold storage!
Q: How do I use the card?

As fellow professional (although not much into software for "everybody" but a special business niche) I must say that i like it, looking really smooth and easy to use, people will love that soscial media integration. I use a fairly unknown language called Euphoria for rapid application development. And then I convert to C and compile.
