981  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing altcoins now or during halving? on: December 24, 2023, 09:10:45 AM
Most altcoins follow the trend of Bitcoin, and so it's very likely whatever happens to Bitcoin has got a reflective effect on them. So I would prefer to buy at this moment because by that time, the trends must have gone far and you will not be able to buy at a good price or FOMO may set in and you may take irrational decision that may not be a good financial decisions. If you buy now before the halving, after the halving, by the next bull run, you may be able to get some good profit on your investment.

Buying during halving isn't a bad idea but then it could be buying at a bad price because definitely their will be volatility due to demand resting from the halving.

Few do not follow the Bitcoin trend depending on the hype and currently, Solana is looking good. It has already crossed the $100 mark and if goes on like the way it has been then it will hit $500 after halving. There is another cryptocurrency that has been performing similarly and it is AVAX. At the moment it is moving upward steadily, by next year it should be near $100 and after halving I think it would break its ATH.
982  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRC20 or BEP20? on: December 24, 2023, 09:06:00 AM
Hi OP have you sent your usdt? or have you used trc20 often and even added bep20? in some exchanges this determines the withdrawal fee, I am confused whether you withdraw and send your usdt from cex, or just send from your wallet to someone else's wallet?
OP made this post on 25th Nov 2023 I believe OP has withdrawn his USDT by now. But it is definitely better to use BEP20 to withdraw USD because currently BEP20 withdrawal is much easier and has lower fees than TRC20.

OP forgot to lock the topic because it has been a month time that OP created it. This is the problem the Altcoin board has been facing and we are helpless to do anything about it. I think the best would be BEP20 which has the lowest fee and the next would be TRC20. The confirmation time for both of the blockchains is within 3 minutes, the difference is only the fee required for a transaction to confirm.
983  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dascoin Big Scam on: December 24, 2023, 09:00:30 AM
Never heard about this coin, did some digging and found that it was launched in 2017. It had the element of MLM in it which is a big red flag for any project. Therefore it is always advised to do research before investing funds in any crypto project. There are many shit coins that are coming out right now and with the hype added to it, investors fall for projects that do not have any future. Hype is good but not all projects with hype make it to the top.
984  Local / India / Re: Future of Indian Economy on: December 23, 2023, 11:08:07 AM
According to a new report published by the World Bank, Indians top the list of remittance back to India. According to the reports $125 billion was remitted back to India by Indian expat in 2023. The second spot goes to Mexico with $67 billion and the third spot goes to China with $50 billion. Now, with so much money coming into India why won't Indian economy get ranked 5th in the world. A lot has to do with remittances and a major chunk of money is coming from Indian expats living in the Middle East.

Source

The actual numbers will be at least tripled than this because we know Hawala is preferred by most of the Indians to send money to their family from abroad for tax evasion and its the pretty simple and cheap method than sending via money transfer but I think there is no deduction in the transferred money in some cases which I am not sure but in the past people who want to send bulk from or to India prefers Hawala.
Hawala is one of the oldest form of sending money in the World. The government made it illegal because it was used to finance terror activities in the past. In the middle East and in particularly in Dubai you can find a lot of Hawala traders. Although it is still used in transferring money but there has been an increase in opening of NRI account as money in that account is not taxable. The bank charges what is applicable in the form of fee but government cannot tax that money.
985  Local / India / Re: Beware of fake trading apps! on: December 23, 2023, 10:57:52 AM
Deep fake scam is indeed very scary. You think it is a real celebrity but it is a fake and to an extent they sound like the real one. Scammers are coming up with new ideas by utilizing the new technology to scam. I have come across a website that has the ability to clone any website in few minutes and can deploy it without any problems. In all AI for scammers is a blessing in disguise.
986  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Meme Coins Question? on: December 23, 2023, 10:01:15 AM
What exchanges would you need accounts at if you want to trade memecoins?

Also, pancakeswap would be another one?

pancakeswap, sushiswap, uniswap, and traderjoe.
Those are the exchangers that I have been using

Binance has listed a few memecoins lately. It is a CEX which means KYC is mandatory, if you want volume then Binance is a better option than named DEX. Another way to find exchanges where meme coins are listed is to vist CMC and check markets. You can also check top 10 memecoins according to marketcap by visiting the following link https://coinmarketcap.com/view/memes/
987  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exploring Lucrative Crypto Earning Opportunities: Recommendations Needed!!! on: December 23, 2023, 04:18:17 AM
No one, there's a lot of bounty campaigns, perhaps giving good bounties, but we don't know if the tokens will have a value in the future and that is the risk involved for being a bounty hunter. Heck, there were even projects who suddenly exit scams and everyone was left with nothing, except bounty managers being red tag.

So in that case, it's risk to join them, others might recommend you this and that project, but still you need to research and not just easily jump on that project.

It's not like it's 2017 again that even a airdrop is going to be worth hundreds or even thousands of dollars. DYOR (Do Your Own Research).

There are a couple of projects that are running bounties in USDT, these bounties are being handled by trusted bounty managers. Hunters can join those bounties but those that are not paying in USDT are very risky. As there is no guarantee of these tokens getting listed on an exchange and if they do there is the risk that they won't get the due amount released in time. The price fluctuation is very high when new tokens get listed on an exchange, so the promised amount to hunters might be less when they sell their tokens on the exchange.
988  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Luna Classic and Do Kwon Extradition - Check the FTX Token on: December 23, 2023, 04:12:45 AM
This could be another drama for this abandoned coins

People said the same thing about Doge, that it's abandoned and it went up in value 10,000x times...

Dogecoin development was abandoned and it is still the same. It was created as a joke coin and not a serious project, it is not fair to compare Dogecoin with an actual project. The owners of Dogecoin have not scammed any of their investors whereas it is different with Luna. Trust deficit is very high and investors would avoid this project for the sake of not losing more money in it.
989  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: December 23, 2023, 03:52:40 AM
Really! This was looking a T20l match. Bad performance by the New Zealand team. I was thinking New Zealand has already won previous two matches and they will win this match too. But they will perform like this I was not expecting this.
By the way I really Appreciate the bowling of Bangladesh team. Especially Tanzim Hasan Sakib, he is the player of the match too got three wickets. Soumya Sarkar and Shoriful Islam also collected 3…3 matches.
In the previous match Soumya Sarkar batting was good and in this match he retired hurt. But in bowling he was good and show himself. Unfortunately Bangladesh lost the series but the last match was really interesting.

Indeed it looked like a T20 match, wherein the New Zealand batter were only able to score 98 runs after batting for 31 overs. Three Bangladesh bowlers did most of the damage taking 3 wickets each. Out of the three, Tanzim was the best as he gave only 14 runs and took 3 important wickets for Bangladesh. A good yet late comeback for the Bangladesh side if they had bowled in the same manner in the previous two games then the series would have been more interesting. I never expected them to bounce back in such a big manner and I too was expecting a complete whitewash by the New Zealand team. I guess they took the last match very lightly and hence this humiliating result to the game.
990  Local / India / Re: India cricket Discussion and predictions [self-mod] on: December 23, 2023, 03:36:24 AM
snip~~

The amount of time and money he has spent in getting himself into the ODI squad or the T20 squad it was evident that those articles would come out. He got his first official century in an ODI in the last match against South Africa. Ishan Kishan, SKY, and Samson all of the three debuted in 2021, look at the stats of Ishan Kishan and then compare them with Sanju Samson's stats. He debuted long back in 2015 in the T20 format with a ton after that he has been out of touch in both ODI and T20 formats. He has been unable to cement his position in the Indian team because of his performance with the bat. I guess this century would give him some confidence and will help him get himself into the probable list of players for India.
991  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do people make money with this web3 on: December 23, 2023, 03:20:31 AM
To make money in Web3 you would need to invest money, without investment you cannot earn anything. Web3 includes trading of crypto, staking of crypto, trading of NFT, and others. You can read this article to understand what Web3 is all about and then you can make a decision on how to start making money using it. As web3 involves investment it is always advised to do proper research before investing. It is not that everything here is that simple there are many scams that do happen in its ecosystem.
992  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana Leapfrogs XRP as Fifth-Largest Crypto on: December 23, 2023, 03:07:55 AM
A good day month for Solana as it has been pumping from the start of this month. Those who have been staking SOL have seen an increase in thier overall USD balance. Some of them are now earning $500 or more only by staking. The ecosystem as OP pointed out has seen an excellent growth due to largely meme coins like BONK. Next year would be again a bullish year for them as few more projects would be launching themselves using the solana Blockchain.
993  Local / India / Re: India cricket Discussion and predictions [self-mod] on: December 22, 2023, 07:33:55 AM
The series decider match will be played today. Can KL Rahul and his new team win the series? We need to wait for the game to get over to find out. I don't think any changes will be made to the current team. If the management does then it will be a few batters and a bowler. South Africa looks better as a team and they can win the series without any doubt.

India wins, this win can be attributed to Sanju's hundred otherwise India wouldn't have made 296 score, and possibly would have lost.

Coetzee and Jansen would have added strength to SA, but they were rested to prepare for upcoming test series. Jansen's all rounding ability as we saw in wc and Coetzee always takes wickets.

There were two changes on Indian side: Kuldeep, Ruturaj out and Washington Sundar, Rajat Patidar in respectively. They played their part well, I would say. Little innings from Patidar but confident shots, Sundar took 2 wickets and some runs at end.

Sometimes some players play and they play with their hearts. Yesterday we saw the same kind of devotion by Sanju Samson and Arshdeep Singh that led India to victory and a win in the ODI series. I won't put Samson in the front seat he did what he was required to do to save himself from getting ignored by the selectors. This century might help him secure some merits in the eyes of Indian selectors. Arshdeep Singh has now regained his form which he had lost after the T20 World Cup. He was seen swinging the ball and bowling the perfect line and length. This could be a good sign for him before the selectors decide the team for next year's World Cup. A lot will depend now on the performance of these two in the IPL.
994  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana just reached $80!!! on: December 22, 2023, 07:26:13 AM
Solana has already touched 99.50$ on some exchanges. I expect Solana to touch in $100 in no time. If you are planning to hold long term then you better hold long as Solana platform has already launched 2 of their projects. I am looking at this Solana coin from $27 but not ready to invest. Slowly it appears that Solana has moved to $100 so far I have not invested. But their bull run suggests they could reach all-time highs.

It did pump yesterday and was on the verge of clearing the $100 barrier but the resistance was too high and it did not. Today we can see profit booking as the price has now gone down to $94 which is expected. It would break the $100 price resistance very soon looking at the way it has been pumping lately. Those who had invested in Solana when it was $15 would be enjoying the fruits and those who have staking it would be able to see an increase in their staking revenue. It is still a good project to invest in before the next bull run comes.
995  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think will be the next hype in crypto? on: December 22, 2023, 07:15:36 AM
I keep beating myself for missing out on Doge back then when it was hyped by Elon. Seeing my colleague who are noobs make so much money from Doge made me feel like a clown. It honestly felt like a joke but I stood on my crypto experience and refused to buy the coin again. Yes! I held Doge back in 2017 when I just started my journey into crypto. Used it for some swing trades then held some before I eventually sold all during the 2018/19 bear market. Right now, if I see any trending coin with lots of hype that people are buying, I will ride on it as well be it meme, gamefi, defi, privacy coins or NFTs. Not making the same mistake again!

It is not just you there were plenty like you who had huge amounts of Dogecoin at one time and they sold it before it mooned. It is hard to understand which coin will trend next and get the hype. I remember it all started with a trend on tiktok about Dogecoin and then one tweet by Elon Musk everything changed. No one expected a memecoin to pump so much and now we have so many of them on different blockchains. The hype is still going on and every day a new meme coin is getting released.
996  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which currency do you prefer to use for BTC/LTC/ETH transactions? on: December 22, 2023, 07:09:55 AM
I prefer Tron as the fee is too low and the confirmation happens within 3 minutes which is very fast. Earlier I used to use Bitcoin but after the recent congestion in the network and the high fee, I am using Tron blockchain. I have not used Litecoin or Ethereum for making payments. For trading on Ethereum dex, I keep some Ethereum in my wallet to cover the gas fee and the same goes for BSC.
997  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: December 21, 2023, 05:59:31 PM
India is all set to win the decider since Miller is the only proper batsman remaining currently. What a comeback by Arshdeep. This pitch seems to be a spin friendly surface though the Indian pacers are taking full advantage of it too.

Samson's century helped them post a competitive target. Also, Burger impressed me the most among the South African bowlers.
It looks like they will win the decider. It is still too early to come with a conclusion that they will win. Milker and Maharaj are still on the pitch, if these two form a partnership then things might get bad for India.

KL Rahul behind the wicket adaptability and his presence of mind got India two wickets. I don't know why he is not interested in keeping. He is becoming as good as Dhoni, can surpass him to become the second best keeper if continue to perform well as a keeper for the Indian team.
998  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: December 21, 2023, 05:41:59 PM
Sai Sudarshan is not only a good batter but a good fielder too. What an amazing catch by this guy which took out Klassen. I never thought that this Indian side woul be so competitive against South Africa. Five wickets have gone, asking run rate is now going to moon. Situation is tilting in favour of India, they need another wicket and then no one could stop them from winning the series.
999  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana just reached $80!!! on: December 21, 2023, 07:46:10 AM
I remember the last few months I was trading at $14 and up at $21 how I wish I did not close it very early, I should have huge profit right now seems SOL price pumped too crazy a lot of hype going on. It can nearly break another resistance at 3 digits, watch out boys.

Yeah, you are right a few months back it was trading at a very low price but now it is pumping. If anyone had made a significant investment into it at that time then they would have made a good amount of return on their investment today. It will break its own ATH after the halving gets completed and the bull market returns. It has been pumping because there have been a lot of developments that are happening in its ecosystem.
1000  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: December 21, 2023, 07:34:47 AM
It's good SA won previous game, keeps excitement alive for the last. Hope to see change regarding Tilak Verma, he should be rested, didn't do anything in T20 series or in these ODIS.

Who do you think will be his replacement as a wicket-keeper and batter? Sanju Samson did not play well in the last game and I do not want him to be part of the team today. KL can do the keeping and Rajat Patidar should be given a chance same goes for Washington Sundar, they both are part of the team but are on the bench. The final match today is to decide which team will win the series, the chances of RSA winning today are better than the Indian team.
