So far nobody has found any bugs. Then again it seems that nobody has tested the DOGE gateway yet.
What other coin should I support next?
I would vote for Premine and Mintcoin, especially Premine is almost a clone of Nxt, because it is a Bitcoin in 140 years - premined and was given away for free

repost people assigned to this little project are having a lack of time problems, so we are looking for someone who could help with writing the letter to the univerisites/tech people. I agree, we need articles/theses/dissertations first. It would be fantastic, if you wrote a letter - an invitation to Nxt for those people - academics, philosophers, developers, entrepreneurs... Sending the letter to 1.000 universities would be easy for me, I just need a letter ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) This is a difficult task, because these people will be very intelligent as well as have limited time. So we need to present NXT in a few paragraphs that will convince even those who have no idea what cryptocurrencies are to take a look. It will need to highlight what problems NXT intends to solve, how NXT will solve them, and how the person who is reading the paper can make a meaningful contribution. Additionally, it would have to look very "refined" (something we could print out on a pamphlet, for example) yet clearly indicate that this letter is from the NXT community as a whole. Maybe Anon could help me with this ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) it should be quite short with links to wiki, short introduction, maybe with some open questions so the reader could think - oh, this is what I could help with, but most important would be language - to persuade a reader this is worth of sime attention. we should not rely on the wiki (as much as possible) to convince the reader, and write same very convincing arguments to use NXT, which was my original goal. some points written by panda are here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1G9D0s8TQO8DpQkAZudRkyM1TPUldakw16IUbo2iSkOc/edit

I accept the nominations for Marketing fund and so I apply for that position.
I've been a part of NXT since early December 2013 and immediately became a active and involved member of the community. Due to this I was made global moderator over at Nextcoin.org and voted in as lead organizer for our first attempt at getting marketing going over there. But there was one problem: no funds for bounties. But we did still get things going and the first infographics, videos, articles, logo, slogans, bitcoin conference etc. was organized and succesful. Me and Nifty also started a volunteer questionaire where a lot of talented people applied for NXT projects, but again we were completley lacking any sort of funding and so we had to turn quite a few of them down. This time with a marketingfund I can see A LOT being done.
My reasoning for choosing NXT was simple. I took a look at the ongoing projects and only NXT stood out as interesting. All the others were simply copypasting Bitcoin and so I knew they would never become anything big. So I invested the little savings I had into NXT and dedicated myself fully to the coin. It's also one of the main reasons I started looking into cryptos. I'm not only here for personal gains (but a mans got to eat too!), but I love the revolution that is taking place. I felt that Bitcoin with the Bitcoin foundation sucking up to governments and big banks had lost it's rebellious way and it felt natural that NXT who took it to a whole new level was the place to get in early.
I also organize the NXT swarm group (30+ people) which already has got us on several exchanges. Also eSports showmatch(es) that gained us thousands of viewers. Also moderator on nextcoin, nxtcrypto and /r/nxt Also communicating with different authors on different websites who will write articles about NXT Also keep intouch with quite a few talented people who can help out with NXT in other ways etc. etc.
Please get some manners if you will be elected. Agreed, but if they don't repay I say we spam all over that they stole from us and is utterly incompetent for not even being able to put NXT on their exchange like so many other exchanges.
Nah, the reddit hatred for NXT is ridiculous The guy claime we artifically kept NXT off exchanges on purpose to increase the price. As someone who is wokringhard and already succeeded in getting NXT on several exchanges, I will not tolerate that. If he got hit by a bus I would feel worse for the bus
If I choose only from 1 day old Uniqueorn's posts from Reddit and search only for words fuck and shit, I get this: fuck http://www.reddit.com/r/Futurology/comments/1z2f4p/cryptocurrency_enthusiast_donates_1_million_nxt/cfq39bedon't fucking insult people with lies. http://www.reddit.com/r/Futurology/comments/1z2f4p/cryptocurrency_enthusiast_donates_1_million_nxt/cfq09zz You fucking disgust me with your PROVABLY false accusations and lack of knowledge. http://www.reddit.com/r/Futurology/comments/1z2f4p/cryptocurrency_enthusiast_donates_1_million_nxt/cfpy9luRUN LIKE A CHICKENSHIT http://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/1z3axx/do_you_want_to_know_why_nxt_is_a_scam_not_just/cfq3ojy Everything you say is shit. http://www.reddit.com/r/Futurology/comments/1z2f4p/cryptocurrency_enthusiast_donates_1_million_nxt/cfq39behttp://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/1z2ogi/in_depth_analysis_of_nxt/cfq1tcxI have zero respect for this sack of shit. http://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/1z2ogi/in_depth_analysis_of_nxt/cfq0fwf I tore you such a big asshole that you now are incapable of keeping shit inside of you. http://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/1z2ogi/in_depth_analysis_of_nxt/cfpz56bI don't want to waste much time on this, but we probably should discuss some etiquette, because many of us don't approve this behaviour and it simply dehonests our reputation

It looks like Toronto conf isn't very altcoins friendly. It isn't a problem to create some flyers/pens, but it is a problem in Toronto to hand them out because they want too much money for allowing that. What could be very cheap is to have there a walking banner - Mr. Joefox in special Nxt t-shirt, who would hand out only special Business cards that would replace flyers. Even the t-shirt could be like a flyer... What is important about Toronto - to find new partners, new projects that might be cooperating with us, that will use Nxt network for their plans, their currencies, applications. So we need him to speak with those people ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) + if there would be journalists, he might do some interviews, that would be fantastic

Could someone explain why Proof of Stake is better than Proof of Support?
Lets say I am shit poor and I have 0 NXT but I wanna support Nxt, and I keep my pc/phone/xbox(well lets say I am not poor but I am a teen) forging. I keep the blockchain(s) and ensure stable Nxt network as much as a guy that has 10m coins keeps the network alive, infact the guy with 10m will have issues putting his forging account on any device as for me it wont matter. So why Proof of Stake is better than Proof of Support? Sorry for the maybe simple stupid question, I am no crypto genius, just a mortal!
you can buy million computers, you cannot buy million computers with million Nxt.

I don't think it is smart to be agressive and attack people at the forums/reddits. Promotion isn't about telling people "Everything you say is shit." / don't fucking insult people with lies. This brings only a bad reputation thanks to such wrong behaviour of Uniqueorn

Texas Bitcoin Conference NXT Marketing BrochureI would like to thank bitcoinpaul, w4llace, LiQio, EvilDave and especially mvag for their prompt and generous assistance in revising my primitive, clumsy attempt at an NXT marketing brochure into this thing of beauty: http://nxt.sx/images/resources/NXT-Brochure-4.pdfIt's still wordy, and that's my fault. Still, This Is A Great Job. And thank you again, generous donor, in funding 5000 copies of this to be printed at Austin, TX for my pickup there on Tuesday. NxtMinnow, I will be sending you what I don't use in Austin for you to hand out in San Francisco. Mail 'em on to the next Conference when you're done with them. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=345619.msg5398685#msg5398685Now, on to getting my new new2nxt.com website shaped up over this weekend... I think someone created a redirect link for this thread... or only an alias? Hopefully there will be good info at nxt.org soon too

OK... someone needs to tell Andreas that the Bitcoin future he envisions is already a REALITY with Nxt... SERIOUSLY!!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wzwWIDIVSTo#t=3128 ...watch at least until 53:54... Edit: Even better... just tell him to replace Bitcoin with Nxt when making such references and... he doesn't have to use future tense. thank you, please do not hesitate to share another interesting videos, I am working on decentralized nxt video where I use these scenes.

Why did he want just 21 BTC?
Maybe coz he is crazy about symbolism? I thought that might be the reason. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Now, what does the number 21 symbolize? http://cryptosource.org/what-is-nxt-community/read the last part of my nxtmyths 1st chapter
