There has been no crime ref number

You're a liar and a troll! They said they filed one and since Boussac's been back online and has read the request I, for one, have faith that he provided the requested info, even though I haven't found it myself.

Now, quit spreading fud and hunt down the post, linking it here for all to see. It's got to be on this forum somewhere. Ain't it?
9842  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Betsofbitcoin: Bet if BTC value will reach $200 before 1st May on: April 09, 2013, 07:17:50 PM
Push incoming.

Damn Straight!

Quote
Bitcoin will reach $200 by May 1st 2013

Statement for betting: "The Mt Gox trade price of bitcoin will reach or exceed $200.00 prior to May 1st 2013"

The price will be checked on Mt Gox and bitcoincharts.com to verify whether this has occurred.

Editor's note: Threshold passed.

Where the fuck is it stipulated anywhere what the symbol $ represents? There is no motherfuckin' why that it can be viewed upon as the US dollar, given that a myriad of other countries use the same symbol, of which citizens of those countries all participate on their site.

The $ symbol is not even stipulated anywhere on their site as to what country it should be pegged to, and shouldn't be taken for granted that it's of the US dollar.

I'm sure I can hunt down at least one country that uses the $ symbol in their currency that would make this bet null and void, thus a push.

This bet is more ambiguous than the BFL April bet.
9843  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Instawallet claim process on: April 09, 2013, 07:06:37 PM
UPDATE

We are currently developing and preparing the online claim form.
We appreciate your patience as we work with limited resources.
We regret not being able to do more as Instawallet was a free service (zero fees) and could not pay for additional resources.
However, we would like to reassure you that we will have the claims processed in due time, by the end of the initial 90-day period.
The claim form is schedule for delivery by Friday, April 12th.

Given that you have a pool of 42,000 of our BTC how about you put a little more effort in and try and calm some of your customers fears.   Angry

Have you, (or your lawyers), even looked at our questions?

GIVE YOUR CUSTOMERS SOME RESPECT.

Instawallet users benefited from our free service (therefore are not our "customers" strictly speaking, especially if they wanted to stay anonymous) and will be paid back in full.
They trusted us with their bitcoins and their bitcoins are safe.
To hand out those bitcoins to the hacker now would be foolish hence the claim process I described.
I fail to see how we could have lacked respect towards instawallet users.
Any minute we spend responding to infuriated, threatening , sometimes defamatory posts (not yours) or PM on this forum is one less minute we have to clean up after the hack attempt.
Our determination to support bitcoin as a community-run monetary system is stronger than ever in spite of the attacks.

Thank you kindly for providing the police report reference number. Although I haven't seen where you posted said information, I'm sure you have, for my resources--time--have been limited to hunt it down. Would somebody be so kind who has more time on their hands link the post?

The post I've quoted above scares the motherfuckin' hell outta me. A clever lawyer could easily prove that there were no InstaWallet customers, thus nothing is due to non existent parties, anonymous or real. We were just users benefiting from a free service. Who in their fuckin' right mind would even pen such vial? It's not even relevant.

Bottomline, I enjoyed the dance, especially the part where you held me close and stuck your finger up my ass, then ever so slowly stuck it in my mouth to taste my own shit. Can't wait for the next dance, but that time I will lead.

We could also create our own fund.     Possibly the bitcoin foundation would hold the private key.

It's safer at Mt. Gox. No funds leave there!   Grin
9845  Other / Off-topic / Re: lets convince mars-one to accept bitcoins on: April 09, 2013, 06:01:38 PM

Don't they have a public bitcoin address so we can see how much they received?

Also, there is an other project, with quite a different approach:

http://www.marsinitiative.org

It's much more like a prize for whoever goes to mars first.   So it's not really in competition with mars one.

Take a moment to look at this page: https://cloudportals.com/TheMarsInitiative/Bank-Statements.aspx?Mobile=0

On their Who Are We page: http://www.marsinitiative.org/node/77 (note to self (seriously): the word node in the URL--I like that)

9. Keeping focus on building TMI’s two greatest strengths: Our Volunteers and Our Single Bank Account

Here's a unique opportunity to show Earthlings the world the power of Bitcoin. What if they had two bank accounts? One, a conventional bank where the money inflates without incurring any interest to speak of, and another, where the money has the potential to increase in value--deflates, so to speak.

Now that would be a tremendous marketing tool for all concerns. I'm sure they'll go for it, for one, it's free money, and another, Mars One is accepting Bitcoin. But this time they would receive $1,000 USD worth of BTC from Bitcoin 100. Ideally, I would love them to have a vanity address, but that's not a deal breaker (1toMars...).

Take a look at this page: http://www.marsinitiative.org/content/sponsors

I would love to see BitPay's name there, with Memory Dealers as my second choice. Given the dollar amount they've collected to date, it's probably safe to assume that the entry level for inclusion is not that great. If the two entities don't object, I would request TMI to include both of them as terms for accepting the $1K USD donation.

I was wondering how long it would take for Dank to take the bait mascarading as a goat: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=156207.msg1656194#msg1656194

When I started that thread, this is the exact word I had in mind to use as the first word, but opted not to do due to desiring the thread to have a more solid footing, thus excluding a drug related word as the first word, going for the safe bet--Lithuanian. I couldn't wait to share it, hence it being post number five.

It was the word ayahuasca, alone, that put be on the path of enlightenment, seeking out new words and new worlds, to boldly go... (funny, yet serious)
9848  Other / Off-topic / Re: And yet another Vladimir Putin photo that's NSFW. on: April 09, 2013, 05:19:35 PM
Hmmm. political photos have a lot of subtexts.. Let analyse:

1) Wearing a knife to represent Russian military might
2) The cross to show commitment to the Orthodox Church/ no gays allowed etc.
3) No shirt to scare the bears away
4) Fishing rod to represent Russias independence and natural resources
5) Working style trousers to represent Russias strong down-to-earth working style

I could go on...

I wouldn't be surprised if this photo turns out to be iconic. (not sure if I phrased that correctly, but you get the gist)

Look at this- it's a local ABC station in Australia going after the guys behind Cryptoexchange.

http://www.abc.net.au/7.30/content/2013/s3732468.htm

Why not get Trendon Shavers local TV station to do an investigative reporting piece on him?!?!?!

Ken said all will be fine in 90 days sometime last year. Bitcoinica funds are in the hands of Mt. Gox, not being touched.  Roll Eyes And InstaWallet will return all the funds to their customers, that's why they're not commenting anymore on this forum--just coming here to lurk, then poof!, they're gone.
9850  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Announcement - ASIC mining processor by Butterfly Labs on: April 09, 2013, 08:01:19 AM
Yeah,I remember that & then this was said @ the time of the price increase,"Bitforce SC (ASIC) products are in final stage development with initial shipping scheduled for the last half of April 2013."

Now on FB "gonna ship next week"...............................yeahhhhh  Roll Eyes

That means that this week they'll be asking for the trade-ins to be shipped to them.

That means they are using a fictitious business name and state of incorp. when they sent units to the FCC for testing because as of Monday the FCC has yet to touch a single product line produced by BF Labs. I'm not trying to be funny here, but those labels will probably take a couple days to make, then shipped, then somebody at the lab will need to be trained to put them on the units which will take a day (later part was me being funny, for we all know it'll take two days).

I'm not pressing as hard for the UL compliance, for that's not mandatory in all jurisdictions, but it's utmost prudent that they do such to satisfy the laws for some municipalities in the US, let alone most other countries. I'm sure the guy affixing the FCC labels can also apply the UL labels to the units.

Idiot me! I just fuckin' thought of something. Can somebody who has purchased an FPGA miner from BFL enlighten me as to what the FCC tag reads on your unit? I'm curious, that's all.

You mean this from 3/29? The most recent BS fuzzy shipping date that didn't happen?

Quote
I want to clarify the above post, as there is some potential confusion. We are not shipping yet. We plan on shipping possibly by the end of next week, but I will update on a shipping schedule as soon as I have more definitive information with regards to that.

Probably too busy creating scam websites offering ASIC mining rigs.

Locally sourced hardware? I didn't realise there were any semiconductor companies in Sweden. Are you guys sure you understand what's involved with creating an ASIC chip?
