9861  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Causes of Mass shootings, suicides + - Many of them are on psychotropic drugs on: October 10, 2015, 03:06:39 PM
I don't think that main cause of shootings and suicides are psychotropic drugs.
In my opinion, most of this people felt unaccepted, rejected by their communities, isolated etc.
Over time they developed feelings of resentment, hatred, anger and some of them become so resentful that they wanted to revenge everyone or kill themselves because they felt they are not worthy to live more.
It's very bad that nobody could help them in time.
9862  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe we need more ways of advertising Bitcoin currency? on: October 10, 2015, 02:58:54 PM
Education, not advertising. An awful lot of people have heard the word now. Very, very few have a clue what it actually entails.

I agree totally with you. The best thing to do is that bitcoin enter at the schools and universities as cycle of lessons and be part of actual curriculum of everyone of those. But how is possible this when most of the countries of the world ignore it? if this can be true the known and the value of bitcoin (especially the value as a technology and not only as a currency) it will increase much more and with big steps.

But it is not advertising one of the ways which can help on this?

Yes, education about bitcoin is very important but even more important is personal approach and personal contact, at least on individual level.
People today receive so many offers that they are confuse what to choose or what is the best for them.
Word of mouth and positive experiences of friends are often the determining factor when someone making decision to accept some offer or not.

Sta ocekujes od neciviliziranih ljudi? Zivio sam tamo, a sada zivim negdje u EU.

9864  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian missiles 'hit IS in Syria from Caspian Sea' on: October 08, 2015, 12:44:18 PM
If this is true this is very good news but until now it seems that main Russian goal was to save their ally Assad and fight mostly with Free Syrian army and other Surya rebels, not with IS.
I think that USA and Russia can succeed in Syria only if they cooperate and fight together against IS.
After that they should push Assad to accept free elections and change of leadership in the country.

9865  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel about the negative reputation of the bitcoin currency? on: October 08, 2015, 12:36:09 PM
I'm angry because of this negative reputation of the bitcoin currency.
I think this is one of the main reason why some of my friends hesitate to join bitcoin.
I hope that very soon this will change when more ''big'' merchants accept bitcoin and we become mainstream.
9866  Other / Off-topic / Re: What Are Your Thoughts On Vegans? Or Going Vegan ? on: October 06, 2015, 02:39:29 PM
I respect their opinion and belief but also expect that they respect my opinion and that don't try to force people around them to follow their life style or give them ''guilt'' feeling because they are responsible for ''killing animals''.
I don't like such attitude and sometimes they act as some religious sect, pushing their agenda and don't accepting other people's opinions.
9867  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: October 06, 2015, 02:33:34 PM
I think that the future of bitcoins depends on many other factors.
Firstly the price should be more stable and increasing/decreasing slowly to get more people interested in this payment method.
If this is done then more e-commerces will implement it and boom, the price of bitcoin and popularity will be on maximum.

Yes. Price stability is the key for storing wealth.

That is true but did you ever thought about the advantages that volatile price have? This could benefit you from buying BTC at low prices and when the price is high, it could be a good asset to exchange for fiat. This makes you earn profit, but at the same time you could lose money too. If we had stable prices, we might not have to worry about price change, but you will miss the benefits of buying low and selling high. Just my opinion.  Roll Eyes

From customer viewpoint this may be good point but from merchant's viewpoint it's very bad point because they have to plan their expenses and income in advance and with BTC it's very difficult to plan anything. If bitcoin loose a lot value customers will be very happy because they will save money but merchants will loose a lot money and have a lot financial and other difficulties.
So, volatile price surely can't help bitcoin to become mainstream.

What is now joke later can become reality, just wait and see.
Bitcoin is really revolutionary idea which can change the world so soon or later I'm sure Satoshi will become very strong candidate for Nobel prize.

9870  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Catholic bishops descend on Rome for contentious synod on the family on: October 04, 2015, 02:11:03 PM
Battle between conservatives and progressives likely as church debates how it should approach modern world without veering away from doctrine

For a church with a 12th-century mindset, the 21st century is a bewildering place.

On Sunday, bishops from all around the world will descend on Rome and begin a contentious debate about how the Catholic church ought to confront the changing dynamics of the modern family, while not veering away from the doctrine that has ruled the institution for centuries.

The bishops who are attending the three-week synod on the family, as it is known, are expected to debate issues ranging from how to deal with the prevalence of divorce, to ways to counsel young couples who live together but do not want to get married, to how to recognise the children of same-sex couples.

“It’s about how the church can better walk alongside people,” says Austen Ivereigh, a Vatican expert who has written a biography on Pope Francis. “Now that doesn’t mean accepting that co-habitation is right. But it might be accepting that it is a stage to marriage.”

For some staunch conservatives, such as the US cardinal Raymond Burke, the synod has raised the possibility that there could be attempts to whittle away at church doctrine – such as the indissolubility of marriage – that may be out of kilter with modern life.

Conservatives are preparing to do battle with more progressive voices, led by the German cardinal Walter Kasper, who have put forward ideas about the church being more inclusive, like allowing some divorced and remarried Catholics to receive communion after a period of penance.

The bishops on both sides of the divide – those seeking to staunchly adhere to doctrine, and those looking for the church to adopt an approach that might welcome people who feel otherwise excluded – are even fighting over the schedule of when issues will be debated.

I really hope that Catholic church will finally find power and inspiration to start real changes of their doctrines and theology.
They should adopt to the modern world, find the way to accept and help divorced families for example, or to accept married priests.
Without real change, catholic church will decline and loose their position and authority in the society.
Current Pope is really very humble and good man so let's hope that he can start and finish such changes, reform church and create place where people can come for help, not to receive judgment.

9871  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: October 04, 2015, 02:04:44 PM
In fact, I have 50/50 strategy.
Half of my BTC funds,  earned in different ways, I invest in other businesses online and half I keeping in my wallet, waiting for a price increase.
I hope this strategy will help me on the end to earn more money Smiley
9872  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you earn a lot of free bitcoins fast? on: October 04, 2015, 02:01:09 PM
There is one old story: ''There is no such thing as free lunch''.
It means that for everything, even so called ''free thing'' you have to invest something, your time, effort etc.
So, even for signature campaigns, very famous way to earn some free bitcoin on this forum, you have to invest your time, write good quality posts, make some effort etc.
On the end you may realize that is more easy to pay for something than to wait to receive something for free because you will probably need to spend more time and invest more effort Smiley

9874  Other / Politics & Society / Re: MORE THAN A DOZEN REPORTEDLY KILLED IN SHOOTING AT OREGON COMMUNITY COLLEGE on: October 03, 2015, 12:06:38 PM
The number of incidents of killing with gun is more than number incidents of saving life with gun http://news.sky.com/story/1562458/us-gun-violence-history-of-deadly-shootings
If there were no killing attempts, there wouldn't be need for saving attempts too in other words if you dont have gun to kill, you dont need gun to save either.
Its high time US govt considered gun free zone in the larger interest of their people but I dont think thats going to be easy given the strong weapon manufacturers lobby there

Maybe is time that you ask yourselves why there are so many mass killing in uSA recently, much more than in other countries?
Stronger gun control can help your society but it's question if your President Obama can proclaim such law.

9875  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2016, The Year of Bitcoin? on: October 03, 2015, 12:03:21 PM
I really hope that 2016. will become the year of bitcoin and that some bog merchants will accept BTC.
If not 2016, maybe a few years more but future belong definitely to us Smiley
9876  Other / Off-topic / Re: True Love on: October 01, 2015, 02:52:00 PM
It's very simple really.
Give to others and forget that you gave and than give again Smiley
If you expect first to receive love before you are ready to give, this is not true love.

9878  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian parliament grants Vladimir Putin right to deploy military in Syria on: September 30, 2015, 12:39:30 PM
Dont think War or Military Deployment is the solution for the on-going crises. UN should play active role to end the crises. Thanks

I agree with you but it seems that UN  is unable to carry out any active policy in the Middle East because of disagreements between the main political forces in the Security Council.
Russia and America should agree and act together in Syria, this is the only way to end the conflict and chaos in Syria.
Unfortunately, it seems that now it is not a realistic option.
9879  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest problem with Bitcoin on: September 30, 2015, 12:33:49 PM
My biggest problems with Bitcoin are transaction confirmation waiting time and fact that many of my friends don't trust bitcoin and thinks that I'm wasting my time and money here.
I can't wait to prove them that they are wrong Smiley
