1  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: TRADOVE ICO BBCOIN is a SCAM on: January 23, 2018, 05:45:54 PM
I was thinking of investing but the alarm bells and red flags are a plenty. The owners clearly do not have a clue about PR. When did Linkedin become a source of truth for anything "investors"? And videos - wow.. if videos proved anything we'd have so many war crimes tribunals right now the Hague would not be able to cope. Fools and their money are easily parted.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥[PRE-ICO +AIRDROP + IBM PARTNERSHIP] 🔥 Liminality - Unstoppable AI that LIVE on: December 25, 2017, 06:47:50 AM
I read the title and assumed you guys already had IBM partnership. However reading the Medium article about the partnership, it seems like you guys are still in the process of acquiring partnership.

Can you tell us the progress of this partnership? And please tell me it's not through some application on IBM PartnerWorld.

I'd feel more comfortable buying into the pre-ICO.

^This. Show me a letter of intent from IBM and you can shut up and take my ETH  Cheesy

Actually, I paid for expedited shipping and this "brilliant customer service" you talk about - I don't seem to be getting any of it. Two emails ignored so far - including one asking for a refund. Oh, but wait - it must be my fault because an Openrigs fanboy says they rock.

I've got a Black Friday order still awaiting delivery. Waiting over two months for a product and people here are so relaxed about it - it's truly bizarre. What are you guys smoking?

Eh, what am I going to do about it?  Call up the cargo ship and tell them to hurry the hell up?

I had a Black Friday order, too.  I chose the shipping method, Openrigs made the product and shipped it with the method I paid for... should I start raising hell because I didn't realize that it would take longer than I thought?  I guess I could, but it does not solve anything at all.

Openrigs has done nothing besides what I agreed to, and Fluffy's customer service is outstanding.  I couldn't be happier with the way he has handled things.  The South African Post Office on the other hand... whew they are substandard to say the least!

I'd have paid extra for shipping if I knew it would take this long.  Lesson learned.

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - middlecoin.com on: December 23, 2013, 03:41:48 PM
+1.. mined Grandcoin for a bit and was getting horrendous reject/stale rates - it really isn't as easy as just reading off the pretty charts on coinwarz

h20 may want to fix the coin switching algorithm. Right now we're mining Dogecoin when its on 10:th place on CoinWarz, why aren't we mining the 9 others with far higher earnings?

we should start mining tagcoin I think, much more profits
There are other factors than looking at coinwarz. A lot of the faster coins have higher rejected/stale rates which coinwarz doesn't factor in. Tag had enough problems that multi pool removed it.
7  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] KRAKEN.COM - Exchange Now Open with USD, EUR, BTC, LTC, XRP, NMC on: December 02, 2013, 04:23:30 PM
Slick interface but crap performance. Cloudflare message came up earlier on. My coins have been stuck in "withdrawing" for hours. 2 withdrdawing failures.. not happy.
8  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [BitCentury] Metabank 120Gh 65nm Pre-Order Proxy [CLOSED] on: September 25, 2013, 05:28:54 AM
Luis and team,

Thanks for keeping us in touch throughout the process. You've obviously done everything in your power to fulfill your commitments, and like the others appreciate the offer of a full refund. However, you should really consider firing your legal team as their lack of due diligence cost you quite a lot in refunds and I sincerely feel sorry for you guys.

Great progress guys! I'm looking forward to mine (pardon the pun) soon. Can anyone suggest a pooled mining profitability calculator that takes into account the increasing difficulty so I can figure out break even and stuff like that?
10  Other / Beginners & Help / Bullet-proofing Blockchain Wallet - any tips on: June 03, 2013, 02:59:20 AM
I've read about nightmare stories, esp. one about the guy losing 160BTC in his blockchain wallets. Any pointers on how to go about creating a wallet in the securest possible way?
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [NEWBIES] Selling a brand new mining rig 3x7950 on: June 03, 2013, 02:55:11 AM
That coolermaster case - the quiet type? It's so well insulated... doesn't it overheat with all cards running at full whack.. or do you leave the side panels open?

I received the rig and it is far too big for where I planned to put it. All components are of the highest quality, great for mining all cryptocurrencies.

This is the best opportunity to get into mining. Please reply to this thread or pm your offers in USD, BTC, LTC or XRP (preferred).

Include shipping price in your offer, I will have it registered and foamed for a safe journey.

SPECS:

3x 7950 (2x sapphire, 1x gigabyte)
Asrock high performance mobo
8gb ram
64gb SSD
CoolerMaster case
12  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How old are you and what brought you into Bitcoin? on: June 03, 2013, 02:52:27 AM
Mid 30s. The mrs. and I have a "joint" bitcoin account. Got involved during the bubble of April. Thank God Bistamp took so long to process our fiat - otherwise we would've bought at >$200. Ending up buying a whole load at $57 -- sweet Smiley .. and then lost 20 BTC pretending to be a day trader. Got a few ASICMINER-PT shares .. which gives me a decent amount of pocket money through dividends. Thinking of investing in the Bitfury Asicminer soon... hence why trying to post in the newbie forums like a boss to get the chance to participate elsewhere Smiley
13  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Missed out on Ripple! on: June 03, 2013, 02:47:35 AM
Missed the boat once again - I'm getting pretty good at it.

I think they're giving 1k now.

1k? Haha.
14  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: It's stupid that newbies must make 5 posts and browse for 4 hours. Here's why on: June 03, 2013, 02:44:57 AM
Strange, you show up as Jr. Member which I assumed is what you need to post elsewhere.

Also it doesn't work. I see my total time logged in as over four hours and my post count is 5. 6 with this one and I can't talk outside of this subforum...
15  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Price Drop 6/2/13!?! on: June 03, 2013, 02:40:44 AM
Yes, holding seems a good option if you're like me - a pathetic excuse for a day trader. Lost 20 bitcoins so far trying to ride the highs and lows. Embarrassed

Every time I see the price fluctuate I look at the YTD or all time charts to get some perspective.
Remember you don't take a loss unless you sell low.  If you bought at 130 just relax.
I bought reddit gold and some actual gold from amagi with btc over the weekend.  I immediately bought more btc to cover the cost.
The price didn't affect the transactions at all.  It is trending up overall.

17  Other / Off-topic / Re: Selling a working Avalon ASIC miner (NOT a preorder) on: June 03, 2013, 02:34:45 AM
Dude, you are literally printing money with the the starting bid of 230 BTC. Good luck!

One of the rare opportunities to start ASIC-mining right away with a considerable hashing power: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=221806.0

I will accept offers by pm if you're not able to post in the auction thread.
18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: If you have missing Bitstamp SEPA transfers, post here. on: April 16, 2013, 10:18:47 AM
Congrats.. mine arrived a little while back as well. Good price to buy at though.

Morning all.

My money finally appeared in my account this morning too.

Phew! what a load off!

I'll have to ask Transferwise to stand-down now on my claim.

I hope the rest of you start seeing your deposits soon  Smiley
19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: If you have missing Bitstamp SEPA transfers, post here. on: April 16, 2013, 04:52:32 AM
How come your tickets get responded to and mine are simply ignored?!

Sent on the 10th of April. Literally copied and pasted recepient details. I helped my bro do the same. He got his two days later - mine stuck in a black hole. He made 30% in a single transaction - I'm sitting on my laurels wondering what's going on. I'm going to be voting with my feet - anyone have better experiences elsewhere?

Can someone PM the 24-year old CEO - I think he's in London. He was asking about bitcoin events in London - he might be in Paddington tomorrow.

Still waiting here. SEPA transfer sent 6 days ago. At least they are responding to my support tickets.
