1  Economy / Economics / Re: Take care of your money and learn to save. on: June 12, 2024, 03:14:27 AM
From my experience seeing the condition of society, there are lower, middle and upper economic classes. The middle to lower class will find it difficult to save because money is always used for necessities. For the middle to upper class it is also divided into 3, spending money on lifestyle, business and investment.

And if what we are going to discuss here is how to take care and save money, then the most appropriate choice is to buy a plot of land. It will always be profitable even forever. We also don't need to bother paying administration every month, and only pay annual taxes.
2  Economy / Economics / Re: Viserbank: the new online wallet? on: June 11, 2024, 11:21:36 AM
I also just tried accessing it and as WillyAp said, it's offline. But this alone is enough to show that this is most likely a scam, it is an old scam that has been around for a long time. And as you said you transferred money to that wallet? I'm really sorry, you lost your money and there's no way to get it back.

What I'm more curious about is that from your profile, you've been in the market since 2017, which means you're not an inexperienced newbie. I don't believe that someone with as much experience in the market as you could fall into these traps so naively. Besides transferring money, how can you easily give your identity to unfamiliar websites you've never heard of? Why don't you do your research or ask someone for help before doing KYC or transferring money?
There are legit sites too that experience the same issue of being offline. It's only normal but they try to fix it as soon as possible. There are still a possibility that those who don't came back to life are scams that either have been busted out, or they already reached their desired quota.

When it comes to these things like there is a rule about sending money first, I'd be very wary with that and better to do enough research first, to see if they are truly legit or not. You got a point there about his experience. It's shady and it is possible that he is only shilling it to trap anyone else. Tactics like this are not new in the forum, that's why I know.
Thank you buddy, our friend @stompix has also shared the official DNB site.

DNB stated that they are not affiliated with people who offer jobs via email on behalf of DNB. It's all clear now that they are scamming, and I don't need to think about the money in the fake wallet. They also came back yesterday with the same strategy but now they are using telegram.

My mistake was being offline from this forum for a long time because it was difficult to get bounty, and when there was a scam scheme that I thought was new, I didn't know and did the fake job.

and believe it or not, just as I was replying to you, I was contacted again by someone who claimed to work as staff at Dun and Bradstreet again. again, seriously? Will it happen a second time?
Maybe I can ask for your help this time, by checking the person's telegram at https://t.me/JuLiANmiNninG374
Thank you

Well, the moment a telegram account has the name Julian Manning but has the pic of a woman named Julia Manning who lists herself as a manager for sale (freelancer) on other websites, I'm having trouble believing one bit of whatever the person behind that telegram will say.

There is only one way to clear this confusion, contact directly Dun and Bradstreet through the form on their website and ask them if they recognize those emails as being theirs.

Ohh, nevermind:
https://service.dnb.com/home

D&B Impersonation Scam Alert: There are unauthorized individuals pretending to be affiliated with Dun & Bradstreet who purport to offer freelance transcription and design work. These individuals are NOT affiliated with Dun & Bradstreet and are engaged in a scam. No one from Dun & Bradstreet will solicit freelance work on gig work or social media platforms. Dun & Bradstreet and its authorized affiliates do not communicate from gmail.com email addresses or other email addresses that do not end in dnb.com.

oh my.....
I regret not telling this from the start on this forum. I think I went too far and assumed the job offered would be my monthly job.

Thank you buddy, this information is very helpful that DNB is a real company but there are people who carry out scams in the name of DNB.

But is there any possibility of working as a freelancer there? I really need a remote job
4  Economy / Economics / Re: Viserbank: the new online wallet? on: June 10, 2024, 01:54:48 PM
Hello guys,

I don't know if this is the right thread to review this. So, sometime ago I got a project, where online payments via Viserbank. I don't know whether it's a new or old wallet, but they sent the link:
https://viserbk.online

After loggin via the link that they sent, I immediately created an account and verification didn't take days. I thought "this is so easy".

But the problem occurred after the money transfer to my viserbank account and I wanted to withdraw. There are many options there such as transfer to: bank account, PayPal, crypto and several platforms that I don't know. However, there is one thing that is the same, that is when you want to withdraw you have to fill in the OTP number and when I asked the person who offered me the project, they told me to contact support Viserbank.

The person who offered me the project, you can check the link below:
 https://www.dnb.com

The next step I took was to contact support Viserbank, and it turned out there I was told to top up $50 first to get an OTP number.

I don't know who else to ask if not this forum, is it a scam, or is the mechanism like that? For those who have used Viserbank for transactions, please explain, sir.

Thanks
First of all you are not using a renowned wallet as far as my past experience is concerned I have not heard of it. Secondly if you have verified your identity then they should allow you to withdraw you money.look closely there could be some hidden requirements which you have not provided till now otherwise it's a scam or there could be a bug in the wallet as well.

You can't do anything for now just wait till you get the right decision. Contact their customer support and submit your proposal there.
It looks like it's all a scam buddy, because they keep insisting on asking for $50 if I want to get an OTP number as a condition for withdrawing.
I have negotiated, willing to give them $100 if my money can be transferred to my PayPal account. but they still refused, and when I would give them $5 as an initial deposit and would give them the rest, they still refused.

Yesterday the site also couldn't be accessed, so I gave up.
5  Economy / Economics / Re: Viserbank: the new online wallet? on: June 10, 2024, 01:46:07 PM
they also confidently told me "you have to pay $50 first because you recently joined our project."
I am curious. Upon joining their project, did they not show you any terms and conditions? I’m pretty sure you would have to agree before continuing to use the project unless they are so shameless that they hide the conditions of their projects from their customers?

Sorry to hear this but next time before getting in on a new project, verify all aspects first.
all I did was verify starting from the name, country, and what project to choose. after that they will send the job description and ask me to sign. and all I read was an agreement that I, in my name and where I live, was willing to do the work.
but I didn't know that the wallet used to receive payments was Viserbank, not PayPal.

~
At first I opened a seller account on the marketplace and suddenly someone sent me a message offering a job.
dunbradstreet.infos@gmail.com
jordanchase.hr@gmail.com

Sorry, I just wrote 2 emails that offering me the job because I can't input images here. jordanchase was the first person to message me and offer me the job while DUNBRADSTREET was the company that held the project and awarded me the contract.

The job description is to write a novel taken from photos, then write it manually and convert it to PDF in 4 working days.

with work like that the reward offered is $1500, and when I saw the DUNBRADSTREET website page, I was sure that they were a real company that would provide opportunities for freelancers. but what happened was as I told you, the money they transferred to the VISERBANK account turned out to be fake money because it couldn't be withdrawn.

Let me guess what happened
- those emails are not from DBD, they impersonated the DBN company
you can check with the actual one by contacting them on their real website and not through that email and see if this actually is real
- the "bank" was set up by the same guys that offered you the job and the payment was fake and never actually existed

This is the only explanation I can find that can at this point cover all the parts of what happened here, I can't imagine a 2 billion company that has been around for a century is scamming you over $1500 or is randomly looking for freelancers online.

I don't believe it either, because when I visited their website at https://www.dnb.com I was sure they were a real company, not fictitious. but the payment never came.
and believe it or not, just as I was replying to you, I was contacted again by someone who claimed to work as staff at Dun and Bradstreet again. again, seriously? Will it happen a second time?
Maybe I can ask for your help this time, by checking the person's telegram at https://t.me/JuLiANmiNninG374

What does the verification have to take days for verification at first and not even that you are doing a wallet account upgrading? That is the 1st moment of suspect.

OP,  you too would had make your research if such strange wallet site is not only a software program specific for the site in use of scamming people because if the wallet does not permit other usability to other means of transactions then it does not seem trust worthy.

Again, why didn't the guy who offered you the job guide you by himself instead of redirecting you to the customer care? That is basically basis of your billing as a victim and then finally you were asked to pay for an OTP. What would you do that?
If it was a demand that you needed to pay the fee inform or gas to execute your withdraw transaction, that would had been more convince able but yet not still enough to believe it is a legit.

What is the nature of the job and what are the tasks layed on you as an employee there if I may ask? But anyhow, stay away from it because you are closer to be scammed and I also expect other forum members to take note of rus scamming strategy as a noted experience so that you do not have to fall victim otherwise.

Viserbank is can't be reached and I just found out about this after you replied to my topic, because I haven't opened the website for more than 1 month. However, the site that offered me the project can still be accessed. have you opened it? I don't have expert experience with websites, so I can't understand whether the website can be trusted or not.

Who recommended what and how?
You just contacted these guys at Dun & Bradstreet and they told you they have a wallet or partnership or what with Viresbank? The whole story is a mess, you found out a bank that has zero presence on the internet, supposedly established a few months ago, and which looks more like a demo thing!

Serious question, why did you bother using them, what was the advantage over banks that have been around for a decade?

How did you deposit that money and under what form, bank transfer or crypto?
Dun & Bradstreet sent me this email after 4 days of work that I had completed

After completing the verification, they immediately transferred $1500 as rewards after I finished the project. but what happened was as I explained at the beginning, when I wanted to withdraw they asked for an OTP number and to get it I had to pay $50.

Their server is offline.
You went in too fast, most likely due to the recommendation of someone you know.
Checking a website is not that complex.

Its a bank or any other financial service so they should not hide,
You can check the age of the domain, the age their company has and so on.

Most apps and services let you deposit, but paying with them or withdrawing is impossible,
I was interested in the project that was introduced, when I checked the company's website I also thought that it was real and would really pay off. with only 4 days of work, I thought it wasn't too bad but didn't know if the ending would be like this.

they also confidently told me "you have to pay $50 first because you recently joined our project."
10  Economy / Economics / Re: Viserbank: the new online wallet? on: June 08, 2024, 02:00:54 PM
Hm, I've never heard of this wallet, I can't access their website, and it's not easy to find much information about them online. Maybe there is a legit online banking, but this is a fishing website? Or maybe there is no legit Viserbank project. Unfortunately, I think the op was scammed. Not being able to withdraw and not being able to reach support are likely to mean that it was a scam, and probably an exit scam, considering that the website is now offline.
That's why it's important to remember that centralized services are unreliable and risky, even if they look legit at some point.

as far as i know, if you have gone through the steps and verified your identity, there is no reason for them to hold your money because it is their obligation to allow you to withdraw the money. if they say they need some time to verify your account, that is fine, but when they ask for money so you can withdraw your money, that is unreasonable. i don't know their banking regulations, but at the bank i am currently using they require their customers to deposit money first to use their account, and after that the customer can withdraw all the money. but you already have money in the account and there should be no reason for them to hold the money.

also, i can't access the website, it seems to be an inactive domain.
From my experience using PayPal is the same, verify identity, bank account, then you can withdraw with minimum funds and of course a fee, then withdrawal will take 3-5 working days.
Until now, it's been about 1 month, I'm also doubtful and haven't done anything with that.

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] VOLARE, The First Commercial Blockchain Network from EQBR Technology on: November 10, 2023, 01:16:06 AM

The VOLR team has announced that the mVOLR to VOLR Conversion will be on September 6th. That means tomorrow Smiley
Hopefully, the Volare chain will be available on the Exchange soon

The project is set to initiate its Initial Exchange Offering on October, featuring on two additional exchanges, BitMart and Probit. They have generously permitted investments of nearly $500, but given their recent lack of activity on social media, I believe they may need to raise more awareness.

Are you sure? As far as I know, The Volare IEO took place at Probit and Bitmart in October last year (2022),
and now Volr is officially listed on Bitmart and Probit, but it is Volr erc20, not Volare chain.
And I agree with you, the Volare team needs to raise awareness by being more active on social media.

I took part in Volare's bounty campaign last year and got Volare in Whisper MSG Wallet. From the information that has been announced that the deposit feature has been announced at Bitmart, I tried to deposit today and why can't it? Is there 1 step I missed? or is my method wrong? if you know, let me know

17  Local / Marketplace (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: CARA MEMBUAT AKUN JUALAN DI AMAZON on: October 14, 2023, 02:19:59 AM
