1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which is the best anonymous coin to buy for long term? on: November 07, 2017, 09:07:54 AM
Sumokoin is XMR with more mixins (12), XMR is the only coin to be proven fully anonymous right now.
Don't talk about pumped coin like Zoin, or coins like NAV or XVG...

For people willing to put a lot of money and play safe -> go XMR
For people willing to take risk and who are wanting high rentability -> go Sumokoin http://sumokoin.org/ ; 700k USD marketcap, very good coin to mine btw with a great diff algo

Hi guys,
I've updated my Monero mining guide with Sumokoin. I hope it's clear enough Smiley

Thanks a lot Matthew, it's a great guide

I ask again: who is the escrow custodian of the exorbitant amount of premined coins? Please post it on here along with his/her profile, reputation and relationship to the principals of this cryptocurrency.

It is a reasonable request and in the spirit of proper disclosure. Perhaps the fanatics of and the shills for this coin who always present themselves on here as very knowledgeable could provide this information for the sake of everybody involved in Sumokoin. Please refrain from emotionalism when replying as that usually dilutes credibility of one's argument. Just objectivity and the facts, please. Also, this is an open public forum so both yeas and nays have equal opportunity to express themselves on here.

Premine is a scam, and there can never be any legit explanation for it. The Sumokoin devs have successfully convinced people that they aren't scamming, while people have happily signed up for the premine (=scam). They deserve the financial loss that is due in the future, and nothing can be done to prevent it. Looking at Bytecoin, I'm baffled that such a thing still exists and maintains a huge market cap. Sumokoin is no different. You and some other sensible people have occasionally come over here to warn people, which is very generous, but ultimately it's no use.

Lol @this guy. Probably the same people that was shouting "ICO ? scam" in Ethereum thread..
It seems you have some problems understanding english language, I am not going to bother explaining you everyday, so I'm just gonna paste this message from billaue

Hi,

FYI, the premined coins were locked on Sumokoin blockchain using a wallet command named "locked_transfer", that's a simple but effective command to use in this case: you can specify how many blocks ahead coins transferred would be unlocked.

Monero is respectable project with its own philosophy and it had a history (on how it started) ofc you knew it well. As a fork, we can never make sure the same level of support from community from beginning as Monero so a premine was set and we don't think it's abnormal among so many coins around. Until now, the decision (to premine by Sumoshi) has proved right and now we can have resources for devs, community, exchanges etc without having to find donation for each task (though I personally don't think donation-based is bad way either). We don't misuse premined coins, even little on hand by now, only a small portion of them was released to market mainly for rewards, exchange submissions, website/logo redesign which are good for our community. And that's why many ppl here support the coin and the community is growing up day by day.

As said at ANN from the beginning, we also set a part of premine for donation to Monero. All coins to donation wallet in the first year will be transferred to Monero project and we are willing to donate more.

At devs meetings, Sumoshi has more than one time insisted that devs should pay respects to all other coins but we'll keep our rights to correct nonsense, groundless info about Sumokoin.

-------------------------------

Now you might go, you have done your work informing people, thanks a lot. They would have been doomed without you mighty savior. Now your help is needed on another thread, flyyyyy and save them all !
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [SUMO] SUMOKOIN - 🔏 Digital Cash For High-Confidential Transactions 🔏 on: October 12, 2017, 12:14:08 PM

It is apparent that the people behind this crypto is more focused on having it listed in as many exchanges as possible in the shortest possible time frame instead of focusing on developing the tools and fast-track their release to actually make this cryptocurrency utilitarian (cold wallet/signing features, mobile wallet, etc)...you know, primary use case and all that crap. This observation only leads to one conclusion (except for the clueless, of course): that the principals are more motivated to artificially hype/pump the value up as fast as possible so they could cash in and become filthy rich. Please do not resort to the same lame "the premine is in escrow" rationale (if you can even call it that) as it does not hold water and has effectively been debunked on here without even trying as the logic behind it is super flawed.

If they are really sincere about truly developing a crypto that the masses could utilize and therefore become mainstream, then they're doing it ass-backwards. They should be more focused on developing the essential tools that allow the cryto to have an intrinsic value and thereby acquire a true market/monetary value as a result (in the long term, mind you); not hyping/pumping...and dumping. Only the hodlers of enormous and obscene amounts of the tokens will benefit in the latter scenario. The rest will be left holding the bag.

"If you build it, they will come". No hype/pump necessary.

Fact is, this is the community who wanted another exchange. Not the devs. You're like always saying things you don't seem to understand to spread some FUD all over this thread. Being listed on Livecoin was quite a logical thing to do because until that, Sumokoin was only listed on Cryptopia. If is a known fact that being listed on a single exchange can be very dangerous for the coin, you can see the problem who impacted Signatum when Cryptopia chose to delist them. This is for this purpose that devs decided to list the coin on Livecoin.

Devs are only willing to improve the coin by working on it hard, and they are not the one talking about Bittrex/Poloniex. Go look for other coins where devs make false announcement instead of telling lies. You live in a different world than us, and you are assuming things that are truly false. Every crypto would like to be listed on Bittrex, but this is clearly not a priority here, and it never was.

So GTFO
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [SUMO] SUMOKOIN - 🔏 Digital Cash For High-Confidential Transactions 🔏 on: October 11, 2017, 07:51:02 PM
The coin seems pretty good and I'm thinking of mining it and investing in it. A few questions if someone can answer though...

1. How many SUMO can I earn each day with each RX 480?
2. Is there any work being done for this coin to get listed on Bittrex?

Hey mate, thanks for posting !

1. Come on Telegram, many miners will answer you I guess, I don't know for I'm a buyer and not a miner

2. Of course Bittrex is a goal, this is a great exchange that would be nice visibility. But devs are serious, and know the way to Bittrex is long, so they are not going to announce any fake news or fake listings like many coins did for they are doing a really serious project. But yeah, Bittrex is definitely in mind, even if the road to reach them might be long  Grin

REALLY FUN FACT IS YOU WON'T SEE SUMOKOIN SHILLERS ON AEON THREAD, BUT YOU WILL SEE A LOT OF AEON SHILLERS AND FUDDERS ON SUMOKOIN THREAD

SUMO is a SCAM. Buy AEON instead.

Not even close to being a scam.

About 10% (~8.8 million) was premined to reserve for future development*, i.e. over 80 million coins available for community mining.
This shitcoin is a SCAM. And you are definitely mad "investor".

The info on coinmarketcap is misleading, I will email them and share my concerns about it.

And btw, coinmarketcap has unready been told that lol. You should rename in scammy007
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [SUMO] SUMOKOIN - 🔏 Digital Cash For High-Confidential Transactions 🔏 on: October 08, 2017, 02:33:25 PM
I have and still am involved in pure community coins with no funding and development is excruciatingly slow. Which leads me to believe some form of funding helps progress along and you nor i are getting any younger. So the quicker the better imho.

You must be joking. Look at the commit logs of Monero, Aeon and Sumokoin:

Can you tell which coin is the least active?

Monero which is purely community funded without any scammy premine is making extremely rapid progresses every day non stop. This is simply because no open-source developers (myself included) are interested in Sumokoin which is to them clearly a scam. Granted that Aeon's activity is much smaller than Monero's, but this is reasonable given the current circumstance. Smooth (Aeon's core dev, also part of Monero Core Team) also recommends developers to contribute to Monero for now until the rebase is done. And even then, Aeon's developer base and activity are much bigger than Sumokoin.

By the way, Aeon has a huge development fund of 400k (roughly equivalent to $1M) which were all donated from the community unlike Sumokoin's scam premine.

Can you tell me which one is the youngest ? XMR is a great project with an old community. AEON is quite an old project with no communities and who is not experimenting any new stuff.
Our dev Bill made an EasyMiner for all Cryptonote coins, Sumo is 5 months old and you're comparing a 1M marketcap coin github, newly born, with the one of a billioncrypto like XMR super-old and known worldwide ? You sire, are the biggest dumbass I've seen on this website, you are currently at the same point as people creating wLTC and eXMR in my opinion.

A premine is scammy ? Not when locked in a wallet. This is a good thing that Smooth ask developers to contribute to Monero, Sumokoin devs wish also the same you know. AEON is two years older than Monero so yes, I hope that a 40M marketcpa coin, two years older, has a bigger github than Sumokoin  Huh

Why calling a premine scam if they funds are locked, devs have paid for new exchanges and also for a design team. You are just anxious that your AEON shitcoin may be replaced by a coin with a better community, better devs and better ideas. Shill the fuck out and get out, we do not need your FUD and your lies. Premine does not equal to scam you poor buffoon.

SUMO is a SCAM. Buy AEON instead.

Stop saying bullshit. Aeon is a ghost project.

A pump and dump altcoin. that's all. I will never invest in something so rotten.

Sumokoin is a real project, with a great development team, and a real community. It's just the beginning but it's already much more dynamic than AEON!

So if it's for bullshit, no need to come back here!

+1

+1

Sumokoin is a scam because of the premine. Period.

Worst scam ever then, because the premine is in escrowed wallets. But w/e, if you say so  Grin

That is such a disgrace to see a LEGENDARY account coming to a thread and telling LIES just to shill his coin, who is quite related to Sumokoin being an XMR fork too.
Very sad to see that even people rated 5 stars can say stuff like this with no shame on a coin they appear to know nothing. Maybe afraid of the competition ? You should not, competition enhances progress...  Cheesy
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [SUMO] SUMOKOIN - 🔏 Digital Cash For High-Confidential Transactions 🔏 on: October 05, 2017, 01:59:02 PM
SUMO is a SCAM. Buy AEON instead.

Not even close to being a scam.
AEON is a fork of XMR too, so it has a good basis for XMR is the best privacy coin around. But your coin has like no devs while we have four. It was inactive for a while, you only have the Bittrex listing at a time they were accepting almost any coins that would accept to be listed there. You are lucky for they would not have been close to be listing you right now. You were accepted among other coins with no work on them.

Our devs are merging sub-adresses right now. They are going to implement new stuff, we have a GUI Wallet and you don't, and Sumokoin is only some months old, AEON is quite an old coin and almost no progress was made. What would be the point of scamming when your premine is in escrowed wallets, lol..

So don't be too salty and stop spreading non-sense. Thanks in advance. Smiley

Seriously? "Fake wallet/password"? What kind of cockamamie, spaced-out/space cadet concept is that? Have the top cryptos implemented such absurdity?
This type of concept is used by Ledger, which is one of the most popular BTC hardware wallets:

So, I have an issue running the GUI wallet. It starts up, starts to sync and then the transparent window stating it may take a long time to sync NEVER closes even though the screens behind that one shows the sync is complete.

Any help would be appreciated.

Join Telegram, Bill Aue will help you as soon as he sees your message. Are you on Mac ? Maybe I could help, I never had a issue yet

I personnally like this idea a lot !

Emergency Withdrawal: The idea is to have a "fake" wallet password which, if you were to divulge it to someone and that person were to use the "fake" password to access your wallet, an Emergency Withdrawal would be triggered, automatically and instantly withdrawing all of your SUMO to a secondary safe wallet known only to you. Alternatively, instead of having a "fake" password for this, there could be some sort of simple puzzle (like mouse-clicking on 3 or 4 small images in a certain order) that only the wallet owner knows how to solve. You would be required to solve the puzzle before or after accessing the wallet with your password. If the puzzle is not solved correctly, even though the correct password is entered, the Emergency Withdrawal is triggered and all SUMO are transferred to the safe secondary wallet. (This would help against some keylogging attempts.)

And I am waiting to know how the devs are feeling about it..

And come join us on Telegram, we are now 103 members and growing.
