1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [2018-09-19] Electroneum's Platform Is Faster Than Visa, AMEX and Mastercard on: September 28, 2018, 09:34:46 AM
Does Electroneum still exist?  Undecided I bought some during the ICO and hype last year but lost any hope of ever getting any profit from me hodling ETN. I was sold by the marketing moves of Richard Ells and youtubers (Crypto for the people). Hopefully this video revived some hope in Electroneum for me.

You have probably made back a good chunk of your money now. Depending on when you got in. If ICO then about 5x investment.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Electroneum mobile mining on: March 07, 2018, 11:20:17 AM
Guys, lots of people above saying it will damage the phone etc... or hot battery. Please read the other comments.

IT DOES NOT ACTUALLY USE YOUR PHONE TO MINE. It's all simulated, they did a big premine of ETN which will be handed out to simulated mobile miners. It's basically an airdrop that introduces people to the world of cryptocurrency.

I think that the average phone should be given around 10 ETN a month, which isn't substantial for people in first world countries, but imagine if you're in India, Africa or the Philippines? 1$ to them is a decent amount of money, some of these people get paid less than 100$ a month. So this will be hugely beneficial for them. It also gets more people involved in crypto which is good for everyone.

Just to reiterate a previous post.

Looks good.

I'm glad we have projects like Electroneum out there that want to create mass appeal to crypo currencies, it will benefit all of us in the long run.

I've come to the conclusion that no one actually reads any of the posts in threads and just posts based on the first message.

Electroneum released mobile mining App on Android and Apple. That's looks pretty cool. Have you tried that and what do you think about that?

Are you serious?! Stay away from using mining apps on your smartphone! Your battery will be destroyed slowly and the performance of your smartphone will be reduced at least 60%. It's worthless.

Jesus Christ. Have you actually read any of the posts? Its simulated mining!!!!

I do not know a lot about this mobile mining but if it is like mining on your pc it is not good. It can slow your phone or damage him. I believe it is something different which do not using your phone power

Expecting more from snr member, read before you post fud.

Do you think mobile mining is useful? I don't think so because it's wasting your data, battery and time. Mobile mining apps are not good for your phone.

Jesus, all of you need to fucking read. Read the above comments before posting
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Electroneum mobile mining on: March 06, 2018, 12:53:32 PM
But even the Electroneum can be mined on android and IOS clients, but I think it's hard to produce ETH, because the phone's processor is poor, and it can damage the phone.

fuck me really, read the above comments

Very excited about what the future holds for Electroneum, people above saying its a trash coin should really read into it and what they are trying to achieve. If they pull off mass adoption we will be looking at a price x10 of what it is now.

Onto the point about the mobile miner though, I know they have released the Android version, when will they release the Apple one? They have been promising it for months without update.

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin? on: February 20, 2018, 03:46:57 PM
Electroneum. Thank me later.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Electroneum a SCAM??? on: February 15, 2018, 10:22:07 AM
This token is garbage. but the price will go to $ 1 this year. I think in september-october the time has come. when this stupid app comes, even more people will buy this token. and if more advertising comes then the price goes up to $ 1.20

FYI not a token.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Girls in the world of crypto currency on: February 13, 2018, 02:17:48 PM
I do not have a girlfriend, but I met a girl from the forum.

You met a 'girl' from the forum..... Someone add that meme in showing the 'girl' from the internet...

girls do not show interest in these technological jobs like men Wink

Hmm not quite sure what you mean here, its the 21st century, think you're speaking for yourself on that one, I think the majority of guys with 'technological' jobs don't have an issue getting a girl.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much willl you invest in Electroneum? on: January 23, 2018, 04:11:00 PM
Guys what do you think about the price? I want to hold this coin until next year in the hope that the price will grow 10 times!

Me too...i invested a lot...as a target 10x that means the capitalization i will be 3bilion. For my point of view can be an easy target to reach.

10x the current market cap would be 7,247,952,070 (7 Billion) not sure where you got 3 billion from. This would make the price per ETN coin $1.22158. If it hits that price it would be a top 10 coin. Also beating Moneros current market cap (the coin it copied). I highly doubt it would surpass Monero as its literally a copy paste.

Realistically, if we push ahead with the simulated mining app (which they are being shady about (in regards to the IOS one), I'm starting to get the feeling Apple will not approve it) and get on board with major carriers, we are looking at x4 / x5 price increase. Which would be amazing.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SiaCoin (Sc)!! on: January 05, 2018, 12:26:29 PM

@Iamlucas i should of made the bet with you but i didn't want take your bits.
Would be ez money...but I've been generous lately Wink

Ha, I stand by my original comments and to be fair when I was warning people off this coin it went down spectacularly.

I would say the majority of the top 100 coins have gone up x2/x3 times in the last month(s), this is just people piling more and more funds into crypto.

I haven't read up on SiaCoin lately, are they doing anything new? Or is it still a glorified dropbox? If they haven't changed their plans this thing is still going to shit. If they have, will be worth a read.

19  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bittrex Account Hacked?! on: January 02, 2018, 05:35:34 PM
The only thing I can think of is if your email account is compromised.

The hacker could have deleted the Bittrex confirmation emails, have you checked the trash? (Pretty sure there's a delete forever button).

This is far fetched... but what could have happened...
Your laptop is compromised (either you used a public wifi not your home one or there is some dodgy spyware on your machine.
The hacker then could clone your Bittrex cookies (if you didn't log out) Thus duping Bittrex to thinking you are already logged in on the new machine (no need for 2FA).
The hacker then deleted the confirmation emails from your email account using the same cookie method above.

All of the above would be a lot of effort for 800$ but its definitely possible.

If I were you, I would:
1) Completely reformat your laptop.
2) Then login to your 2FA auth accounts and change the password to random generated ones, use KeePass or something to generate and store these.
3) Disable 2FA on all of your accounts (why? Wait for the next part)
4) Then wipe your phone.
5) Re-Enable 2FA on your accounts with your newly built phone firmware.

If you follow the steps above you should be good. (Also if you used a public wifi... don't do it again).

People will be saying the exact same thing this time next year. 'Oh why didn't I buy in January 2018'. Now is a good time to get in on BTC. Ride this gravy train to 100k!
