You say 9k is a bad day. What did you say when it was 4k?

I'm surprised that the OP said "SCAM", not a bubble. Kind of logic as in the original post is common for people who think that crypto is a bubble.

Altcoin nowadays are listed on some exchange which has high fees. I tried to trade to increase my portfolio despite of this situation but still useless because of the amount of fee is when it comes withdrawal.!
Is this normal because of the current situation of market? Or a normal amount of fee especially if the exchange is not yet popular?
What fees are hight for you?

Thanks for the detailed list. Everyone says "due diligence" but no one says what that means.

people are losing millions from hacks...investors are scared to invest...the industry needs to move past this to gain investors trust. Most of the hacks happened on centralized exchange, so why keep using this platforms if they are prone to attacks. It would be best to choose decentralized exchanges when you want to invest into cryptocurrency to minimize attacks like hacking. I've heard that there are exchanges who successfully passed the Deloitte audit. Do you think it's secure enough?

How can you purchase IDK?You may purchase IDK through IDK’s Official Merchant Partners. More info can be found on IDK’s website at idkfoundation.org. What is IDK? IDK is a stablecoin pegged 1:1,000 IDR (Indonesian Rupiah), and is built on the Ethereum Network according to the ERC20 token standard. IDK seeks to drive the adoption of the digital asset in Indonesia, the largest economy in Southeast Asia. How does it work? For every 1,000 Rupiah that is deposited into the IDK Foundation’s appointed custodian, 1 IDK will be issued. For every 1,000 Rupiah that is withdrawn from the IDK Foundation’s appointed custodian, 1 IDK will be taken out from the circulation. Why use a stablecoin?A stablecoin is a crypto-asset which maintains a stable and predetermined value, allowing it to act as a global medium of exchange, a unit of account, and store of value with low volatility. Price stability is fundamental to drive mass adoption of cryptocurrencies, allowing them to be used daily. Stablecoins are able to derive a constant predetermined value by pegging their value to an existing asset, such as fiat currencies or another cryptocurrency, or through algorithmic means. IDK uses the fiat collateral model. Hence, IDK will always have its value pegged to the Indonesian Rupiah (IDR), such that 1 IDK equals 1,000 Rupiah (IDR). Personally I do prefer storing my keys offline to prevent third party Acess and also incase of computer hard disk breaking down.
One may ask, are paper wallets safe enough from relatives and friends?
My reply is that I have developed my own language whereby I represent the vowels in the alphabets in other to with some special characters which only myself, I mean no other person can interpret.
How do you save yours?
I use paper, my computer and cloud

That's true you can see many altcoins become $0 and looks dead because there's no development on the project. Bitconnect is only one of them, if you want to see you can look another dead coin you can find at https://deadcoins.com/. I wonder what holders of those coins did after their coin went to 0

By next year we shall see the result of the Libra development and if its going to be a successful launch, do you think one day we shall see a facebook login button on exchanges like binance? Would you login to it? I have seen this on websites like medium.com. Worse is taht not only binance but also kraken and bittrex That sounds SO unsafe. Especially if one store some money on such exchange and don't withdraw it frequently.

Why are people not getting it?its kinda annoying hearing from people that Facebook Libra coin will take over. The first question I would like to ask such people is why are they investing in crypto?majority of us on here wants to make profits apart from supporting the technology and that clears the fact that I'm only investing in bitcoin and altcoins because they aren't stable. People aren't getting it that if bitcoin becomes a stable currency today many investors will start using bitcoin just like they are using tether but what about those high gain?sorry guys investing 2000$ in stable coins will remains at 1999$-2000$ forever. Either bitcoin and altcoins bring loss or gains that's what makes them more interesting,Libra is a stable coin,no more no less and no matter how good it turns out to be its not an option for investment to me,I don't know about you guys. If Libra gets on exchanges I like using like binance yes I would gladly use it to back my crypto Worth's just like using tether or usdc, nothing more or less. Enough of libraphobia. I consider Libra as a way of payment and in this case, I don't see any threat to bitcoin. Because bitcoin is mostly used as a store of value and trading. Yes, it might reduce bitcoin usage as a way of payment but who cares? That's not what gives value to BTC so it won't affect the price IMO.

What valuable lesson(s) have you learnt from the crypto space in 2018 and how is it going to shape your involvement in the space going forward? Looking forward to your responses, hoping one or two persons learn a thing or two from them.
Lessons I learnt in 2018: 1. Be patient. 2. Admit your mistakes and learn from them. 3. Don't forget about stop loss! 4. Don't be afraid to lose money, it's an experience. 5. Due diligence is extremely important.

I'll probably never use Yobit again, not because I've personally had any issues with them, but a lot of other people have. Like, they're often de-listing coins and do not give you an option to withdraw them in time.
Another exchange I probably won't use again is crypto.com, their trade limits are just way too strict. Now I have a bit of fiat money on there that I can't even use for trading, because the buy limit of all coins on there is too high.
And what are you supposed to do with delisted coins then?

reporting fake volumes doesn't deceit either traders nor the coin owners! fake volumes is just a technique the exchanges use to stay on top of the ranking and attempt at competing with each other. besides, they all do that. nobody is monitoring them and their reported volumes so they can do whatever they like and there is no damage done so nobody cares.
I read a really good article about exchanges in general. Someone put a lot of effort into that research, compared a lot of exchanges and found their main mistakes. And regarding fake volume, there was a good tip on how to recognize it with volume patterns. If we're looking at the normal distribution or close to normal, most probably it's fake. No peaks - probably fake.

Hey! Any news about Blackmoon?

The latest altcoins news spreading on the internet now is altcoins investors will be disappointed ,popular crypto predictors are saying its time for people to start seeing bitcoin has the only lone wolf worth investing in and all altcoins will go nowhere.
My advice to all altcoins investors is not to panic ,these people as popular as they are can't predict the future, last bullrun of 2017 no one saw it coming and the last Almighty altcoins season of January 2018 no one ever think that will happened.
May be the news was right, all altcoin now depends on bitcoin price, even altcoin have nice progress like bnb with binance margin trading but when bitcoin bloody red than all altcoin have same thing The altcoin will follow bitcoin, and we see that is happening in many times. No matter how expensive the altcoin, when bitcoin price is down, that altcoin will go down too. But both bitcoin and altcoin will increase higher in the future, and that will give us a big profit too. We need to hold the altcoin at this moment because if we sell now, we are only making another lose. But we also have a chance to add more amount for any altcoin we have because now, we can buy at a low price. Then why didn't ETH follow bitcoin this year? If you compare it to last year, the value of ETH decreased dramatically. Especially ETH/BTC. It's really tempting to give up and sell it.

Not all altcoins are same and not all altcoins owner would be profiting and not all altcoin owners has had loss against bitcoin. Most of the so called altcoins (any coin except bitcoin) are either scam, useless or are dead in advancement are only living in speculation and twitts. Investors investing on those coins won't make a profit.
Do you think ETH is a scam, useless or dead?

I read the news about Ethereum 2.0 will be launched at the beginning of next year (January 2020). What if buying ethereum for now, is the right time? If there might be good advice from you, let's take time for this. Thank you.
I bought ETH last year and so far it lost 100% value. I really hope it'll change. Vitalik, do something, please

There are some tokens in my ethereum wallet that have lost value to the extent I don't think they can ever recover even if the bull market starts tomorrow due to the level of competition in the altcoin market. I also bought some coins but can't remember the password or name of exchange i bought them on (thinking it was cryptopia) I didn't bother transferring it off the exchange and most of them were bought around 1satoshi.
Back to my ethereum wallet, each time I see those worthless token I just laugh and continue with what I login my wallet to do. If you ask me why I'm still holding does tokens in my wallet I can't give a reply. Why are you still holding those shitcoins sorry altcoin
Because I don't want to believe I wasted money on that sh*t. I want to believe it'll go up one day.

I am interested in trading in Latoken, a few weeks ago I was invited by friends to trade in Latoken, so far I have gained new experiences with a few coins and got a little profit. I want to share my experiences here and make sure that Latoken is safe, is my decision right?
My experience was bad. My withdrawal got stuck for ages! I missed a very good investment opportunity because of that! Will never trade there again.

Well, when you reach a certain rank you have the possibility to add a signature under every post. Some projects are willing to pay for to advertise them in your signature space, like I do with ChipMixer. Then you have a certain amount of posts you have to do each week in order to get paid which is logical, because the project want to have some exposure (this does not apply for ChipMixer). You have to follow the forum rules and not spam the forum with bullshit. The better reputation you have the better campaigns you can join. You can check the Service section for campaigns paying in Bitcoin. There are also bounties for the social medias. See the Bounty Section. That sounds interesting, nice idea. Never seen such a system before. Try to focus on Communication.. and learning before that, many tried to come only for the money and ended up banned - here the ban is personal and forever.
I was joking
