someone know what to do when the device told you cgminer not connected
i have tried so many things, check the cable, restart so many times. reset it nothing works
i ve also tried to contact bitmine, but there are no reply from them

any help?

thanks in advance

Try troubleshooting it one module at a time:

Hello, I have the same problem as Zelek Uther mentioned here before. The miner starts hashing and then slowly dies after a few minutes.
After rebooting I can start it again with the same result....after a few minutes it just stops hashing.
Any ideas ?
I still have this issue on one miner. I've tried different SDCards, different firmware (including Debian Desk from a forum user), I have even swapped out the RaspPi. Still have the same issue where cgminer fails with a segmentation fault. I see this by invoking cgminer from the command line.

What I'm trialling now is running just one module at a time. I unplugged the PCIe cable from every module except the first one, and it ran fine on one module for 24 hours. Power down, try the same with just module 2... and so on. I run each for at least 24 hours as a test. Still working through this. Then I'll try two modules... then three etc until I can run stable with as many as possible.
I've run each module by itself, then combinations of two, then three, and finally have it hashing stable on four modules.

So the result of my troubleshooting is that I have to leave one module unplugged (PCIe cable disconnected).

hashing at diff1 can cause a pool to stop working, so miner will not have more work and stops.

IT'S A BIG SCAM AND ALL EVIDENCE PROVES THIS.

you can always make a proposition for them to work it out:
-pay half now
-remaining part on fixed date (few months)

you understand that legal cases takes around 0.5-3 years, until finished?
 Shocked

seems more like I expected, they can help everyone with hardware,
but not with money (refunds) atm.

Short of liquid cash/coins, contract(s) with suppliers, ...

you can always make a proposition for them to work it out:
-pay half now
-remaining part on fixed date (few months)

Still have to say that in the beginning everybody was excited that a company
like Bitmine could offer business, by setting up all the suppliers etc.
Then shits begins to rumble on delivery dates (properbly out of hands of Bitmine),
and suddenly everyone wants a refund.

A company has obligations to supplier(s), which has to deal with huge amounts of money.
I am convinced that money is there, but if everyone is paid out immediately at once,
they could miss some obligations to supplier(s).

If people are refunded on the same scale as new orders arrive,
business will not be damaged.

And I dont see why this business has to be damaged.
It takes a lot of engineering to make this product,
and its a decent product that works well.

Am still happy with my desks.
 Cool

The design of heat sink is customized but it is compatible with the hashing board of S1.
Hence we will be able to provide all the S1 buyers an option of upgrade.

only see option to buy entire new S3, hows it being done with the upgrade?

Okay it's final:
I called them for the 10 times today...

What a scumbag company.

hmmm reading all your positive posts, I can imagine you're not a fun person to talk to.
Did you keep it friendly and polite on the phone?

And how exactly did you realize it melted? Did it stop running? Saw smoke coming out?

if you see CMD READ ERROR(s) in cgminer, 1 or more module(s) doesnt have power.
17  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: June 29, 2014, 02:27:13 PM
22 degrees.
Have thermal pipes attached to back of the desk,
for heat to go outside the window.

Well, if you use turbo then that is your own risk.
Maybe the unit wasn´t cooled enough?

nope, using advanced settings is own risk.
Desk cooled with 4 3000rpm fans, was running at 42 degrees.

Nice going Bitmine!

1 cable of the Antec 1000w PSU melted.
4 modules were running on turbo-moderated.

I don't have time to read through 170 pages of this topic. Could someone explain are you guys pissed at CoinCraft or a vendor??
I got a chance to buy a 1.1 TH/S new coincraft for $1200 shipped and was wondering if they were any good so I saw this thread now I am wondering WTF is going on here??? Is it worth buying promised from US vendor ships July 7th
guys let me know!

hardware is OK.
Only the process of getting them from Switzerland, is one hell of a mess.
With all the delays a lot of people want a refund, to make better profits.

Have 2 desks 800GH each, am quite happy with them.
Yes if I had more power in my room, I would order a new one again.
