5  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you ever trade at work? on: January 07, 2020, 08:29:37 AM
Do you ever trade at work or trade on your work computer? Any reason why you think this might be a terrible idea?
I've never try that and it's a terrible idea because it's not allowed at my work. My boss has a capability to monitor softwares and webites we visit thus we wouldn't be able to trade at work. On the other hand if so happens that I have a free time, I just tend to open my account through my mobile phones to check my open positions. Sometimes during at work time, it's good to exit my position.

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ICO WhitePaper Matter Most? on: January 04, 2020, 11:15:15 AM
I think it will matter if those project will have unique or have new idea and not just a copy right project. we encounter many scam projects in past years and non of them succeed even you read their white paper or they have great white paper they still fail at the end. so those whitepaper will matter if they are aiming to succeed and follow what is written there.
Well, it'a really difficult for them to come up with a new idea since there are already a lot of altcoins existed which has various platform and usability. Thus, this results suspected plagiarized whitepapers which disgusts the investors, causing a project to fail. For this reason, whitepaper really matters.
Mayroong gabay upang makapag-report on: January 02, 2020, 02:59:56 PM

- Patrol: This page help you to fastly have overview on real-time spam situation in the forum, on all boards.
- Report History
Quote
Only users who have reported a certain number of reports have access to this page
- Modlog:
- Seclog:
- Mga checker sa plagiarism: Edubirdie.com;
Grammarly; Small SEO tools .
- Karagdagang tools (userscripts):
[HACK] One-click mod report, not for the faint of heart, na iminumungkahi ko sa iyo na gamitin para sa pag-rereport.
[Userscript] Report to moderator on post history
[Userscript] Bitcointalk Post Filter
[Guide]How to detect rule-breakers.Techniques and tips.

Alinochka_bw_Py, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile ;u=2602925
Alinochka_bw_Py, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile ;u=2602925, Nuked!

Siyempre magagawa mo ito:
Alinochka_bw_Py.
Code:
[url=https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2602925]Alinochka_bw_Py[/url].

I just discovered interesting things on patrol page, so I updated the thread today.

Now, let me presenting what I discovered.

Beside the standard patrol page, that most of us know, at: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=recent;patrol (1)
There is another 'hidden' patrol page, in which posts made in bounty threads disabled by default, at: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=recent;patrol;nobounty (2). I knew about that page by @suchmoon or @Vod, and originally it was disclosed in Russian board.

Generally
  • The (1) page is overwhelming spam posts, and there is no reason to find spam posts in bounty threads, with abundant proof of authentication or weekly report posts
  • The (2) page is more helpful, but by default, there are still so many posts over many boards

So, what users can do if they want to limit posts in their interest boards, such as Altcoin Discussions?
There is solution, but users have to manually customize their patrol page. Here is a guide, given by @o_e_l_e_o
Patrol isn't really hidden. You can make a link to it appear at the top of each page immediately above the link to your Watchlist by going to Profile - Forum Profile Information - and checking the box titled "Show patrol link".

What is hidden is that you can customize the patrol link to view other recent posts. Patrol shows the last 200 posts by newbie accounts. If you delete ";patrol" from the link, so you are left with https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=recent, you will see the last 100 posts by all accounts. You can also customize this by adding ";boards=x,y,z" on to the end, where x, y, z (and so on) are the boards you are interested in. For example:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=recent;boards=1 will show the last 100 posts in Bitcoin Discussion
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=recent;boards=7,8,57 will show the last 100 posts in Economics, Speculation and Trading Discussion.

You can also chain this together together with patrol, so for example:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=recent;boards=1;patrol will show all the posts by newbies on Bitcoin Discussion out of the last several hundred newbies posts. I'm not sure exactly how many recent newbie posts the forum keeps on file to populate this list from, but it's not a huge number (in the region of several hundred) I think, and since the vast majority of newbie posts are spamming the altcoin boards with bounty reports, then usually this will only show you a small handful of posts.
What users have to do (if they want to customize patrol page) are:
- Having a list of interest boards/ sub-boards and their identifying figures of those boards/sub-boards
- Bookmarking the customized patrol page: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=recent;boards=X
- Changing the X-value to their interest boards/ sub-boards at specific timepoints when they want to check spam posts.
Notes:
Users can includes multiple boards/ sub-boards in the customized patrol page
I listed a few boards/ sub-boards and their identifying numbers
  • Meta: 24
  • Bitcoin Discussion: 1
  • Altcoin Discussion: 67
  • Trading Discusion: 8
  • Gambling Discussion: 228

1. No zero or low value, pointless or uninteresting posts or threads. [1][e]

2. No off-topic posts.

13. Bumps, "updates" are limited to once per 24 hours.[2]

21. Old bumps should be deleted. [2]

22. Advertising (this includes mining pools, gambling services, exchanges, shops, etc.) in others threads' is no longer allowed, including, but not limited to, in altcoin announcement threads. [8]

10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin adoption for better life in future . on: October 11, 2018, 01:04:49 AM
Yes, many people simply do not know that there is such a payment method as bitcoin. Already, in fact, there are a lot of people and companies that accept bitcoin as payment.I, just like you, want Bitcoin to become an international currency for payment. In my opinion, Bitcoin is really created to create the conditions for a good life. And these conditions will be realized with the help of this wonderful technology.
Yeah i agree with you. Its good to know we can have an opportunity to earn a currency which can help us stabliize our lives. Through quick transactions and reliable coins, this can really change the course of someone's life.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does crypto bring more risk than benefit? on: October 07, 2018, 04:21:17 PM
I think right now the negatives might outweigh the benefits since most cryptocurrencies currently have little to no use except as an investment which may end up as a loss.
Yeah I agree with you but that doesn't mean it's applicable to every event since everything here is ever changing. Its still very good to invest in.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Psychological fear dominates the market on: October 07, 2018, 04:19:58 PM
This psychological aspect prevents a lot of people, as they panic and commit rash acts and lose their coins. Therefore, each investor should be mentally prepared for various kinds of non-standard situations and be able to resist emotions.

Yeah i agree with you there and it results in a very bad event. Since the market is heavily dependent on the attitude of the people towards their business and earnings and the demand and supply curve, being disrupted will cause a change.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Airport accepting bitcoins for traveling tickets on: October 07, 2018, 04:18:25 PM
It will be great if large transport and travel companies will accept bitcoin and thus develop cryptocurrency. It seems to me that very soon it will become real. We only need a loyal attitude of the government to this.
Yeah i agree with you. That transaction is so easy and fast and it only needs transfer but i guess that would still be far. But its really possible and a good thing if that happens
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet hacking is it possible? on: October 07, 2018, 04:17:15 PM
It is possible to crack a wallet only because of your sluggishness and if you neglect security methods. do not blame the developers or anyone else for example if you did not put 2fa on the wallet
Yes it is. I agree with you there that's why we need to extra sexure it and never entrust it to anybody since people are very bad when it comes to money
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How long time will take to market rise ? on: October 07, 2018, 04:16:05 PM
It's complicated. The cryptocurrency market is unpredictable. Many investors hope that there will be growth soon.
Yeah i agreed and there's no telling when will everything be back to normal or rise again but i hope that will be sooner coz that is every investor's dream
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin will be the safest investment on: October 07, 2018, 04:14:04 PM
there is no drastic drop from bitcoin, now bitcoin is still one of the most potential coins of any coin. bitcoin will not be easy to become a dead coin, so that is why many people choose bitcoin to be used as a trusted investment asset.
Yeah i agree with you. So far anything here is very volatile but its not that bad. Maximizing it will bring out better opportunities for the industry and many more.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Target Market of Bitcoin on: October 07, 2018, 04:12:39 PM
These are all people who are interested in earnings and modern technologies. There is no specific age or social group of people for whom bitcoin is intended. It is for everyone who is interested.
Yeah i agree with you there. Those who are interested in investing are the ones who can get all the fruits they will sow here. No specifics in anything.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we continue to participate in aridrop projects? on: October 03, 2018, 11:32:47 PM
Inasmuch as the majority of airdrops turn out being scam I believe they are a few that are legit. But i don't think it's worth it when you will have to participate in 100 airdrops to find 1 that isn't scam or worthless.
Yeah i agree with you. Being scammed is very very very bad since you wont get what you're working for.  Airdrops are a very good way to earn free coins but the only problem is their authenticity
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Panic sellers, please head for the exit (and don't come back) on: October 03, 2018, 11:31:29 PM
I think that there will always be those who sell at a panic so there is nothing surprising in this. The more people who sell at a panic, the easier it is for the big players to collect their positions.
Yeah i agree with you but lets not hate them hehe lets teach them rather on how to work on that and it would be a very big help for them. We cant really blame someone for panicking since its a natural reaction, but we can minimize it.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is the best decision on: September 30, 2018, 03:45:52 PM
The best decision in the crypto currency is your own made decision
You need to make deep researches and find out information yourself

It aids your trading skill and makes you a lot confident too
Never underestimate your self made decision
I agree with you. All of you keep this in mind. In addition to this, remember when is the best time to buy and to sell so that it would help you maximize the opportunities given by this industry
