I have recently peeled 2 1BTC coins to redeem them. I didn't want to do it but I needed to.
I m going to need 2 peel more soon but I would rather they were sold for their value, also not peeling a piece of history. It just seems that finding a safe way to sell and handover the coins isn't worth the risk and maybe just selling the peeled coins afterwards makes more sense.
What could I expect for a standard 1BTC coin right now? How about a peeled coin?

Can someone please explain the best way to convert from mini private key to one that can be imported by blockchain.
Everything I’m finding online is command based complicated stuff. Surely there is an easy way.

Been looking more and more at the idea of using a service like this with a portion of my coin. In the past always been a “not your keys, not your coin”, kind of guy but I have been interested in returns on long stored coins that can still gain interest in BTC.
Would love to hear opinions good or bad if you have any.

My internet will be cut tomorrow.
The phone company is from January first no longer using the copper wires (land line) and I have land line ADSL
internet.
I have ordered fiber but it may take 6 to 12 months before they can get their asses out here and dig a cable to my house, on the other hand I only had to pay 9900 SEK for it. My neighbors who got cable when it was first installed some years ago in the area had to pay 32000 sek.
So I will be mostly using my laptop and free wifi spots in town to go online. I will try to use my phone as a wifi hot spot, but I don't know how well that will work.
The phone company tried to install a solution using a antenna and the mobile phone masts, but they couldn't get a strong enough signal.
So, I'll be on here more sporadically for a while i think, depending on how well the phone wifi solution works.
I would think things in Sweden would be better than that... Keeping you offline for up to a year is unacceptable in this day and age... Incidentally, Malmö is (IIRC) the model name of my bed, bought in IKEA! Also, yesterday I started watching a Swedish horror movie called Knackningar (2021). Haven't finished watching it. Will do tonight (from the beginning, for a proper watch). What a messy post I've made, jumping from topic to topic like a bee... Sorry... I reckon you’re thinking of Malm. Also, opsec. Can’t be too many people with that bed……probably. |

75% of my stash goes nowhere this cycle. I have sold some at $60,000 & at $65,000. I even panic sold some at $57,xxx & $56,xxx recently. I have extracted a large amount of cash already & have some corn on an exchange which will be sold this year too. I’m waiting for hopefully better prices before the bull run ends on them though. I can guarantee 75% of my stash isn’t touched this cycle. Some I’ve sold already though & that will total 25% before Christmas. I won’t regret it either. I will be retired at 35 with a new home without a mortgage, no debt, a lump sum of fiat to get me through to the next cycle. Probably look to invest in some stonks & maybe a small apartment or two to rent out also. 75% going nowhere though. 25% partially sold & will all be sold by New Year. No regrets, after buying & HODLING since 2014 this is the first time I’ve extracted significant funds from bitcoin. I think I deserve it, less pressure & panic watching charts. Peace of mind is something important I think. I think we’re on similar pages. All about being completely chilled and comfortable while still retaining skin in the game. If it goes mental In the next cycle you’re not going to regret living life to the max for the next four years. |
