1  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ⚠️ WARNING: IeByte.com is a SCAM ⚠️ on: September 19, 2025, 07:24:39 PM
It’s clear that you were deceived by the fake reviews and ratings on Trustpilot. I found that the fraudulent platform IeByte received a 4.2/5 rating, and most of the reviews were likely purchased or written by the team behind this scam platform.

You should not rely solely on review platforms, as the reviews may be fake. Instead, you need to conduct your research extensively or ask the crypto community here about the legitimacy of the platform before using it and before depositing your money.

I believe that if you had done so, you wouldn’t have fallen victim to this scam.

My advice is to always keep this rule in mind to avoid scams: any platform that offers guaranteed, fixed, and high profits without risks is undoubtedly a fraudulent platform.
2  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Should I trade back again with Binance? on: September 18, 2025, 01:33:14 PM
You are right; it's been almost a year since I had the issues with Binance. In the meantime I have been using another exchange like Bybit. It's also been a smooth exchange so far from my experience. Binance was my first choice, to be honest, and I was quite disappointed due to restrictions. For security reasons I don't store funds in an exchange after the issue with Binance. So when I need to sell or buy coins, I like to move them on multiple exchanges. Because I really don't want to rely on the single exchange.

However, I have been using Binance again right now and don't have any issues yet. Hopefully they lifted my restrictions after a deep investigation. So there shouldn't be an issue with them unless I made mistakes again. The funds I have been dealing with are fully clean and come from Bybit. So there won't be an issue like a mixer or something else. I will be very careful when dealing with the CEX.
Bybit is the second largest CEX in the market, and it’s also my second choice after Binance, followed by OKX. Good choice, OP. You've learned your lesson well and will not accept payments directly from your clients on Binance. If the funds come from a mixer, casino, sanctioned countries, politically exposed persons, a fraudulent platform, or were obtained illegally, then they may cause you trouble until they release your funds.

If the restrictions have already been lifted, then you don’t need to worry. Always send your funds in batches without sending them all at once. You can continue using Bybit, as I don't see any reason to use Binance again unless you prefer their P2P option. Even if you use it again, what happened in the past has already been resolved, but you should be cautious because Binance deals with any activity that may be high-risk strictly as it is a regulated platform that complies with laws.
3  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [Searching] No KYC Trading Plattform like Kucoin on: September 18, 2025, 12:32:43 PM
Agreed, on both points! Both are indeed unregistered exchanges (despite whatever they write about being registered in seychelles or bahamas or xyzzy).

I don't know of any registered, official, licensed exchanges that function without KYC though. And even if they're without KYC right now, within the year they will likely switch to full KYC (as KuCoin is doing, by charging a fee for the absence of KYC)
If they claiming to be registered and they are not, this is a clear red flag.

Most of these unlicensed and unregulated exchanges may defraud their clients, and you won’t be able to go back to a licensed authority to file a complaint,,  nor is there any regulator to protect you since they operate without authorization. This is a high-risk matter, and I agree with what you mentioned : at any moment, if they want to comply, they may demand KYC from their customers.

Therefore,, we should not put our full trust in these centralized exchanges, especially the unpopular, unknown and newly launched ones. You might lose your deposits one way or another, and in the end, you’ll have no one to blame but yourself.
4  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] Phishing Email to look like real rewards on: September 18, 2025, 11:16:08 AM
Thank you for sharing this warning.

If you follow altcoin airdrops, you'll know that the Jupiter token airdrop has already been distributed and is over.

What the scammers did here was exploit a survey platform like (research.net) to create a phishing form.. They used a similar email address to lend credibility to recipients and relied on a public form to carry out the scam.

Now, with AI, scammers can create messages that look convincing. Therefore, we shouldn't rely on the appearance of the message alone.. We should double-check the sender's address, and we shouldn't blindly click on attached links to avoid falling into a scam that’s actually easy to spot.
5  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [Searching] No KYC Trading Plattform like Kucoin on: September 17, 2025, 12:35:34 PM
If its a large platform on the scale of Kucoin - without KYC - there might not really be any.

I came across these that work without KYC
- Nonkyc.io
- Bitunix.com

I've seen users trade on these within the past 4-6 weeks and withdraw without difficulty, ~4 figures USDT (disclaimer: not sure if this is true for all their users though) and I've used them for a bit but for tiny amounts.
I haven’t heard of these exchanges before, and I recommend that anyone who wants to use them conduct their own research.  Honestly, the platforms you mentioned do not have enough reputation to be compared with KuCoin, and for me, KuCoin is the best if you are considering using any of them..

First platform: Nonkyc
They have not provided a Proof of Reserves Audit.  Check [this].

I also found the following warning on BrokerChooser, which I’ll quote for you:
Quote
"nonkyc.io is not considered a trusted service provider by BrokerChooser based on publicly available regulatory information and the fact that it is not regulated by any top-tier regulatory authority, which might put your money at risk."
[Source]

-------------------------

Second platform: Bitunix
Check the following image:

[Source]

It’s clear that this company is using fake reviews to add credibility to themselves, and that is indeed an unethical practice. Also, check the latest recent reviews, they are all negative. [Talkimg]
6  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Kucoin to charge Dormancy Fees on Inactive Non-KYC and KYB Accounts on: September 17, 2025, 11:50:13 AM
That implementation is like they are trying to force those dormant user to comeback and trade on their exchange so that they won't get penalize or their account will totally get terminated. But I would choose to be terminated rather then being force to pay on a platform that I won't use again.

This is also an excuse so that they can get the remaining asset of their user that's why I really find this crazy. So maybe better for people to trade on other exchange so that they won't encounter the same issue as what Kucoin trying to implement to their users.
I don't see anything wrong on their part.. You, as a user, must agree to their terms and conditions and the decisions they set. Either close your account or don't create an account with them in the first place. They need to make a profit from your pocket and from the pockets of their clients; they didn’t open this exchange and offer all these features to you for free.

The fault lies with the users who leave their assets with them. They did not present themselves as a personal cryptocurrency wallet. I see that Binance has a dormant account policy among its rules of service.. Have you read it? Check clause 19.3 [here].

I believe all exchanges are like this, and everyone should be aware of their terms before using an exchange so that they don’t regret it later when they find their assets deducted or seized by the platform. Perhaps the difference is that Binance does not charge fees on inactive accounts.
7  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: HitBTC - Dogecoin withdrawals on: September 17, 2025, 11:08:07 AM
Hey guys, should we start a class action lawsuit against Hitbtc exchange? let's see how many people were scammed by Hitbtc...
If you are able to do that, go ahead, but I am curious to know which authorities you would report them to? If you want to see how many people have been scammed, you can't count them all; take a look at review sites, and you will be surprised by the large number of people who have fallen victim to this infamous exchange.

As for me, I've never been scammed by them because I always deal with the top CEXs in the market.. I see no reason to try this exchange at all. However, I believe those who have been scammed were likely attracted by scam coins listed on this exchange, created accounts hoping to trade them, and ended up losing their deposits.
8  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] amlchecks.vip is a spoofed site!!! on: September 17, 2025, 10:40:38 AM
Thank you OP for sharing this and for helping make the crypto community safer.

There are many beginners who, out of haste, might try the phishing site and connect their wallet, and if they do, their wallets will be completely drained of the assets inside.

I have already tagged the scammer’s account and supported the flag, submitted a report to NameSilo to take down the domain, reported the thread he posted on the forum, and submitted a report to Google Safe Browsing.

Any updates I will keep you informed in the thread.

10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin hard for people to understand? on: September 16, 2025, 02:35:16 PM
I agree that Bitcoin is an invention and a radical change, just like the Internet.. Many people in the early days of the Internet did not know how to use it, but with time and their passion for discovering it, they became skilled and learned everything. This also reflects how people view Bitcoin. They were not used to it and were accustomed to traditional banks and financial institutions. The fierce attacks on Bitcoin in its early years helped reinforce this difficulty and negativity in their minds until now.

Bitcoin allows you to control your money without the interference of governments and central bodies. This alone can cause fear for many people, since they don’t know anything about the simple mechanisms of storing Bitcoin and did not learn much about it. All they know is depositing their money in a central bank , which has full control.. That is why Bitcoin is still misunderstood but just like the Internet, people will eventually adapt to it and embrace it in the end.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Countries that still don’t like bitcoin. on: September 16, 2025, 12:58:15 PM
It doesn't matter whether the governments of these countries like Bitcoin or not, even the people of these countries still deal with Bitcoin smoothly. Perhaps one day they will change their position towards Bitcoin because it is the technology our time.. With proper regulation and legalization, its adoption can be a real gain for any country. With the presence of major countries adopting Bitcoin,, it’s only a matter of time before other countries reconsider their position..

We must highlight countries such as the United Arab Emirates, Germany, Portugal, Malta, Singapore, and the Hong Kong, as they are the best for Bitcoin and crypto investors to live and invest, as they provide clear regulations and offer tax exemptions or reductions. These countries do not necessarily mean that they like Bitcoin, but rather that they benefit from it economically. You can read the full article at this [source].
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dirty bitcoin risk? on: September 16, 2025, 12:26:59 PM
what do you think, just more fud to push people into regulated exchanges, or this is a real problem we need to worry about?
What I see as propaganda towards using centralized exchanges. If we assume that someone has dirty bitcoin, if they send it to any CEX, it will be frozen until they can prove it was not obtained through illegal means, and it could even be confiscated. Anyone can check the cleanliness of their coins through one of the platforms that offer AML checks without the need to use exchanges.

What I see as a real problem for those who obtained bitcoin through illegal means, such as money laundering, terrorism, theft, fraud, etc., and for those who obtained such assets unknowingly,, as mentioned in the article, there are legal ways to seek compensation.. However, for people in countries where Bitcoin is banned, legal remedies would be useless, so they must only deal with legitimate parties and avoid engaging with unknown individuals.
13  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do not have high amount of money on an online device. on: September 15, 2025, 02:44:34 PM
IPhone 17 is around $1700 to one device, those that mean I can keep $1600 on my iPhone and feel safe? This analogy doesn't make too much sense. I think if we are having funds that we are not going to move from one wallet to another often like deposit to exchange and withdraw, it's better the money remain idle on offline wallet until the coin is ready to be spent.
Honestly, I am an iPhone fan, but I feel its price is extremely exaggerated. There are other phones brands that offer more efficiency at a lower cost. It is nice to find the MIE feature in the iPhone 17, but for those who want to buy this phone at this price, why not buy a hardware wallet for less than $100 that can actually keep your funds safe? You don’t need to spend $1700 on an iPhone.

Although Apple provides a more secure environment than Android, this does not prevent the existence of vulnerabilities, as OP mentioned, that scammers , scammers can still exploit them. There are no system is ever 100% secure. Attackers always find a way to hack these systems, so I agree that offline storage (cold storage) is the best option, and it doesn’t cost much at all.
14  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Malware stealing crypto on: September 15, 2025, 02:06:09 PM
The more outdated the tactics used by scammers are, the more they will attempt to develop their tactics and techniques.. With the emergence of artificial intelligence, they may misuse it to make their scam operations more sophisticated and precise. That is why privacy is essential in this field,, as all financial sectors are targeted by scammers with every tactic they can use.

In reality, any beginner can easily avoid most of these attacks by following simple practices by keeping their assets in a hardware wallet. They should also refrain from downloading cracked software, since it is a common source of malware. In addition to that, installing a strong antivirus on the device for added protection. Also, they should also refrain from clicking random links, not trusting strangers who might lure them into phishing websites or scam exchanges and never connecting their wallet to unknown platforms.
15  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Phishing link of Uniswap on Google site. on: September 15, 2025, 12:59:19 PM
I have already reported this phishing site that impersonates the Uniswap trademark.. It is clear that the site has now been taken down. These sites are easy to create and easy to promote and they do not cost the scammers anything.. That’s why one should be very cautious when clicking on any links in search engines, especially those promoted through Google Ads or on social media.

There are many fraudulent and impersonated domains whose domain names that look very similar to official ones, sometimes with just one letter changed, the use of a non-Latin character (homograph attacks), or a template that closely mimics the original. Therefore, you should avoid connecting your wallet to any of these sites and refrain from entering seed phrases on any of them.
16  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: List of users promoting the BetPanda.io scam casino on: September 15, 2025, 12:20:25 PM
🚨 NEW BETPANDA SHILL EVERYONE!! 🚨

11. nutildah
I hope you stop pointing fingers at the members who have this casino’s signature.. If you have an issue with Betpanda ,you should contact their customer support so they can help you. If they don’t respond, you can escalate the complaint through other platforms.

The promoters here are not responsible for your personal experience with the casino. They are not partners in it, they are simply doing their job and getting paid for advertising. Whether you decide to play or not is entirely your own choice you have to understand that.,, and any problems you face remain between you and the casino.

18  Economy / Services / Re: WTB google review on: September 11, 2025, 03:12:57 PM
These reviews violate Google's policies and can easily be removed.

This is also unethical, as you are misleading people and encouraging members to write positive reviews for an unknown business they've never dealt with before, and which may be a scam.

Why don't you promote your business honestly instead of using these deceptive methods?

May I ask what type of business you are running?
19  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] wallet-rewind.com - Crypto recovery scam on: September 11, 2025, 02:55:24 PM
Update:

The phishing site I reported has already been taken down, and I received this message in my email from the domain registrar NameSilo:

Quote
Hello,
The domain has been deactivated.
Kind Regards,
NameSilo Abuse

The report only took 5 minutes, so no member should hesitate to file a report with the domain registrar.. Such actions are highly appreciated and will protect many people from falling victim to scams.

You can identify the registrar of a domain through Who.is, then go to the registrar’s abuse page and fill out the form or send the report via their dedicated abuse email.
20  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: RatOn trojan with function for account takeover of crypto wallets on: September 11, 2025, 02:47:16 PM
It would be foolish to install these cracked apps on a phone that contains crypto wallets, a banking app, and seed phrases.

These apps are not safe, and by granting them these sensitive permissions, they can take complete control of the phone.

The best solution is to purchase a hardware wallet for cold storage or use a separate phone as a testing field.

RatOn has many high-risk functionalities that it can execute on the device, so one must be very cautious not to get infected with such malware. Beginners should take all necessary security measures .
