Obviously im new to this, and live in NY.
I know Coinbase is common and probably the easiest but they have issues with freezing and delaying transactions which scares me.
I was considering using Localbitcoins.com, and if this is the most recommended method then so be it, but many sellers will not sell to NY residents due to recent laws and restrictions.
Im not buying much, maybe $1000 to start, storing it on a paper wallet and dont want to shell out a bunch of money in fees, nor do i want to jump through a bunch of hoops and meet people in dark alleys.
This seems like a lot to ask but im just not trying to lose much in getting into this.

I don't know if you can buy at coins.ph I never have an issue with it, maybe take a look if you can buy 100mbtc from that exchange. |

Beware this user has an active 0.01 loan with Taras that he has extended multiple times.
I will use the money to buy and sell smarthphone in my country to earn, sorry if I offend the member of this forum, however I have no funds because I join Soferox and Opporty, honestly I don't even have a computer and I am just renting my log in time in internet cafe, you can check back my posting history if I'm saying the truth or not, though I'm not here to scam others like some of members did. Are you using this to pay your loan? Because I can just send btc to the lender if I buy I'd like to but the consequence is unfavorable on my side. Unfortunately even if you direct the payment to the lender it is still not enough because of the compounding interest. I will use the money to earn offline I will buy and sell smartphone in my country. |

Not that I think you will default or anything, but for that particular reason I cannot accept it as valid collateral. The Google search results for "XGM token" had this thread on the first page. Understood I just thought if you were not going to sell my account, it will be a valid collateral as they are both unprofitable in case of defaulting my loan request. P.S If I have my account there's a slight chance that I can pay an amount of 0.01 BTC if I joined another campaign, but without help waiting for XGM or SFX to be listed in exchange site is highly unlikely to happen this year. |

Ask their support if they can transfer that amount into my account then I can lend this amount. Accounts can't be taken as collateral as there are various methods through which one can reclaim it. If anyone is able to help I really appreciate, in my case why I'm asking for a loan again?, I need to keep up from crypto-currency world, I need my account to post and get profit from it.
There is no campaign available to participate. There will be a campaign to join. P.S I think it is impossible to transfer my coins with you, this is laborious I'll just wait for XGMUnless your already in a signature campaign then your not going to be able to fulfill your promise and the collateral you are offering isn't enough and isn't valid.
I will just wait for the XGM to be distributed and pay for my account since no one will trust, I also edit my post that my soferox account is not a valid collateral. P.S Thanks for your opinion though. |

If SFX is transferable, Im sure someone would likely help you, but if not, your account isnt valid. I think it is transferable when you change the password and username, honestly this will be live on exchange when the hard fork is done. P.S I really hope that someone might understand and consider this account as a valid collateral, I'm not trying to scam people here like anyone does. EDIT: I've tried logging in to my account and see if my account could change its email, with no luck this account is not a valid collateral. |
