1  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Buy Reddit Upvotes - Upvotes.io on: January 19, 2019, 03:26:21 PM
I have a question for reddit users. Why don't my submissions show up on the New page? Is there some sort of filter or time frame when posts are shown?

They do have a spam filter designed to detect spam posts. However, legit posts can also be caught by the filter. If minutes go by and your post isn't showing up, it has probably been caught by the filter. This is most likely to occur if you post to a subreddit that you have not participated in before.

Free upvotes are offered for a limited time only. Looks like they are still offering it https://upvotes.io/free-reddit-upvotes/

What payment methods do you accept? I've got some BTC and Eth sitting in my wallet. Do you accept crypto? How does it work?
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is now a good time to invest in ICO? on: August 14, 2018, 05:32:22 PM
I think despite all the circumstances on the market, now is the time to invest and not only in the ICO. If you get to the facts of the market situation today, you will understand that the growth will be in the next six months.

That's great forward thinking.. I have Menlo One or WePower in mind.. I think both are great, but which ICO do you think has higher upside?
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs are a legit or Scam? on: August 05, 2018, 04:14:01 PM
ICO's are LEGIT. BUT there are some evil people who would like to raise money by putting up fake ICO. Unfortunately a lot still fall for it. too bad.

It's a good thing Menlo.one, an ICO marketplace is launching soon to help investors filter good projects faster and actually be able to invest with less fear of being scammed. I've read their white paper on https://www.menlo.one/ and did some checking on the team working behind this project and they seem legit without any links to previous scam projects..
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest in ICO or buy BTC? on: August 05, 2018, 04:07:37 PM
I prefer to invest in bitcoin because bitcoin is more promising and profitable. Because many ico are scam and many investors get loss invest in ico.  So it is more safe invest in bitcoin. Moreover, the price of bitcoin is now down, so it's good to invest now.

I agree that ICO investing is more risky than investing in BTC, but I think the gains are not as much in BTC either... Once Menlo One will launch, I will definitely get back to ICO investing.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's next good ICO? on: July 20, 2018, 11:44:56 AM
In my opinion EOT Protocol (Entertainment Open Network Protocol) looks quite promising. I like that they have strong team, detailed whitepaper and very serious partners.

I've been hearing a lot of EOT but seeing their whitepaper I'm not convinced to invest in them. I'm comparing these three ICO's right now, (VTOS, OPP, and Menlo) their concept is very promising and might wan't to invest on one of them once I'm done with my research.

Out of the 3 choices, I would definitely not think twice about investing in Menlo One. After reading these projects' white papers, I think this is the first time I've heard of Menlo One, an ICO marketplace being run with a decentralized system. With all the risks factored in, I believe that the rewards outweigh them in the long run, given that their project will inevitably gain mass investor attention through time.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Current ICO's rating systems. What do you think? on: July 20, 2018, 11:32:00 AM
What do you guys think of the current ICO's rating system? Are you satisfied/happy? Do you think it reflects the real projects value? Does it help you to find right ICO's to invest to? What do you think about experts (even very well known ones) who provide corrupted ratings?
There are way too many questions. Let's discuss)

They serve as a starting place for any investor, the problem is that people easily believe on things they see and didn't bother to do an extensive research and that's why they fail. All I know, rating sites are flawed, corrupted and should not be trusted. Anyway, have any of you came across with menlo.one? They plan to be a review platform with a guild community system.

I think Menlo One is one of the best ICOs this year. What I like about this project are their clean UI, decentralized system which stops corruption, and it also focuses on helping other legit projects that need funding. Future ICOs are very lucky that a project like Menlo has finally launched. Their whitepaper: https://www.menlo.one
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A Guild based system by an ICO???? on: June 25, 2018, 11:06:19 AM
Sound's interesting.. I heard Menlo One is the top pick among upcoming ICOs for various ICO groups here in Bitcointalk and in telegram.  Roll Eyes
10  Economy / Services / Re: Smartchain ICO Investment Pool Group on: June 25, 2018, 10:38:49 AM
Do you mean to say that Menlo One has the highest potential out of all other upcoming ICOs? Their project is indeed very interesting based on their whitepaper, and I was looking for someone else's opinion about their team.  Smiley
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ICO or buy later on exchange ? on: June 25, 2018, 10:29:33 AM
Yоu will еаrn mоrе if уоu pаrticipаtе in thе ICO prе-sаlе, bеcаusе уоu will bе аblе tо buу tоkеns up tо 20 - 50% chеаpеr аnd thеn sеll thеm аftеr thе ICO.

Regarding good ICOs, has anyone heard about menlo.one? They're an ICO review platform and marketplace launching their token sale this July. Do you think this project has potential? Their white papers seems interesting to me https://www.menlo.one/
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I do not believe ico anymore on: June 18, 2018, 03:14:40 PM
I don't blame you for your doubts since a lot of ICOs end up not delivering what they had promised. On the other hand, there's this ICO marketplace project that I'm will to try as a last resort. It's called Menlo One and they will be launching their token sale this July. Their white paper explains a lot of unique and brilliant stuff that brings a small ray of hope for future ICOs. Does anyone know about this project as well as the background of the team behind it? Their sire is Menlo.one
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the future prospect of cryptocurrency? on: June 13, 2018, 08:29:25 AM
In about 100 projects, probably 5 or more of them turn out to be scams or just end up being bad investment choices. Menlo One has an algorithm called "proof of reputation" wherein it compensates people for their attention and communication depending on their reputation and community feedback. I don't know how their point system works exactly, but I'm very excited to see known personalities help us make wise investment decisions based on their honest reviews.

They actually pay well known figures in crypto space for just viewing and honestly reviewing ICOs??

IMO, this incentive method is extremely unique especially since it helps us recognize great projects more easily separating them from the ones intended only for scam.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we make this world economically better? on: May 29, 2018, 11:07:32 AM
The society is divided into haves and haves not, poor people are getting more poorer and rich people are getting more richer, Value of money is decreasing and inflation is increasing, Many people around the globe suffer death mostly Africa and asia because hunger and unable to fulfill basic human needs.
What actions should governments need to take and how individuals can contribute?

Japan today is using cryptocurrency in order to improve their own economy and if all the country has just the same idea then everyone will be very rich in their own country because most of the people really prefer to use bitcoins for faster transactions.

I think the main reason why Cryptos aren't accepted in most countries is because it can't be taxed(regulated). What I don't get is, how come payment gateways like Paybear or Bitpay are able to calculate fees while govts can't learn from them and base their tax deductions on these gateways? That way we would be able to integrate crypto payments in a lot of businesses.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to really judge the potential of an ICO on: May 07, 2018, 02:30:19 PM
To see how experienced the team is, how much you estimate the usefulness of the project, where it can be used, find the information of experts on the project and ultimately make its conclusion
How can you accurately estimate the usefulness of a project ?

It's indeed not easy to tell the difference especially since a lot of projects promise the same things. I would rather look at the team behind the coin and trace their previous records for reference.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Will Kill Cash ? Is this True on: May 07, 2018, 02:20:35 PM
Many Say Cryptocurrency Will Kill  Fiat Currency and Creating FUD all around the Internet, According to me if this statement is correct then CR.CARD Dr, Card has done this Long back, Cryptocurrency will be used by Smart people in future and many businesses will opt this for fast transaction

It's not easy to kill cash because still many people don't know and understand cryptocurrency and they will keep using Cash.

Whats your view about this

Yes, actually I already saw a company advertising that they will use crypto to help make their project possible. I think that's a bright idea since transactions in crypto are way easier and faster. Yes, I still do think that cash is still hard to throw out of the picture because some countries aren't still approved to this kind of system and that will make transactions to these countries harder if cash will be killed. But in my opinion, crypto will be a great innovation in the future if it'll be improved and understood better by many. I hope they will see the advantages it would bring.

I think you will need cash to buy Crypto so they both somehow work together. Also, crypto value is also based off of fiat. So it may take a while before cryptos completely eclipse fiat in my opinion.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ate you going to spend or save you bitcoin? on: April 10, 2018, 03:47:12 PM
I don't it's practical to spend Bitcoin at its current low price. It won't buy you much especially if you've bought it above $5,000.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency is a bubble? on: April 09, 2018, 08:58:08 AM
I think that yes it's a bubble. But there's nothing wrong with them, you can make big money on them if you do it right

I think that most crypto's price appreciation was a bubble built around hype and greed, but the technology they were built from is definitely legit.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market is GREEN - Do you trust it on: April 03, 2018, 05:27:58 PM
I don't trust it.. Not unless Bitcoin gets a good "and valid" morale boost through the news. Otherwise, I would rather assume that it's a normal market move which will inevitably die out due to the lack of buying pressure/demand.
20  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Have you used Lightning yet? How did it go? on: April 02, 2018, 02:58:34 PM
From my understanding you need to run a bitcoin node while running lightning?
Yes, I believe so. The difference is that the node will account for the transaction but not submit it to the blockchain until it can do so with a bunch of other transactions, that way the fee is much cheaper.

So does this mean that it still uses the same 'batching' method as some exchanges are already doing? Not complaining but I thought transactions get instantly confirmed with lightning.
