1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: America's oldest bank support bitcoin holding on: February 14, 2021, 08:38:04 AM
Not going to lie, it excites me but I know for a fact that this old bank supporting the bitcoin is up to something. I don't know what it is but I know that they want to get in because they are planning something in the market. They are a welcome but we have to be cautious because this bankers operate not on the interest of the people but their interest and the people that protect them. This is still the same as hodling your bitcoin on an exchange and attacks can happen.

When we talk about hidden interests in every action of large corporations / banks:

Bank of New York Mellon (BNY Mellon) is said to have played a role in the Ponzi $ 4 billion OneCoin scheme.

The class action lawsuit seeking compensation from OneCoin and its founder, Ruzha Ignatova, added the US bank to its list of parties involved.

The plaintiffs accused BNY Mellon of processing payments for OneCoin in 2016 and citing the project as a possible "Ponzi / pyramid scheme" stemming from an internal investigation.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Altcoin to invest on: February 14, 2021, 08:21:58 AM
I've been looking to invest in some rising altcoins for quite a while now. Any suggestions for temporary investment? Smiley

I think Algorand (ALGO) is a project that deserves attention this year! ALGO aims to develop a blockchain that is scalable, secure and decentralized.

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is facebook creating their own crypto? on: July 24, 2018, 05:00:16 PM
Heard a rumor that facebook  was thinking about launching their own crypto. What do you guys think about this?

Would also love your feedback on Algebraix. App that keeps your data private and pays you to watch ads. how do you think they will measure up to the advertising giants like facebook and google?

I have not personally heard this news. But I think it sounds pretty interesting. If the FB has made its own coin, then millions of people who have not been interested in the crypto world so far may be starting to do so. It also depends on what the purpose of the coin will be, but it still sounds interesting.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too many ICOs on: July 24, 2018, 04:51:20 PM
Hey,

with all these ICOs going on in parallel it seems impossible to stick out for a good one.

Reddit and this forum get flooded with announcements of new ICOs making it almost impossible to spot good ones.
Facebook blocked ICO advertising.
Google Adwords blocks use of word ICO in ads in certain countries already.
Twitter is drowning in ICO announcements.
Listing pages are popping up everywhere, too.

What are the ways you guys use to learn about new ICOs and how do you find out the good ones ?

If it was easy, everyone would be bounty hunters.  Grin
Indeed, finding a good ICO project is a difficult task. You just have to do a very long and thorough study of the projects. It takes more time but I still think we can find them.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your investment strategy? on: July 24, 2018, 04:41:29 PM
Hello all.

The current situation of the market is not so good. I believe that some of you are panic, some are giving up, some holding to die.  Cry

Could you please share with us your current investment strategy so that everybody can learn from your good practices and overcome this tough time?

Overall, my strategy is to hold certain coins for a maximum of one year. I think the big volatility of the crypto market is a very good premise if you find the right coins to make a good profit for a short time.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN is FUTURE !!! on: July 24, 2018, 04:26:58 PM

Need your opinions?

I totally agree with you about that BTC and blockchain technology are the future. But, in my opinion, this resistance to the people and institutions will go a little longer than you say. But definitely, one day everyone will use some crypto currency.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple will be great again on: July 23, 2018, 04:07:04 PM
On the macro side, there are a number of positive developments that have helped push the popularity of the cryptocurrency up.  Ripple has been working on a deal with the Bank of America, the latest institution to jump into the cryptocurrency market.

Ripple has a number of bank partnerships, including Santander and Master Card that have elevated the cryptocurrency in the minds of retail investors...

Ripple (XRP.X) price prediction: what to expect?

I believe Ripple will bull again!!!

It is quite probably to happen. In my opinion, Ripple's team is doing pretty well with finding partners. And if they continue in the same spirit, the coin can jump a lot against their current price.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advantages of altcoins ? on: July 23, 2018, 03:59:29 PM
What advantages do altcoins have that differs it from bitcoin ?

Overall, it depends on the purpose of the coins, but the main advantages that most altcoins have to BTC are related to transaction time, transaction fees, number of transactions, and so on. I think it's basically this.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any signature bounty campaign for newbies ?? on: July 23, 2018, 03:57:12 PM
I have heard abouty bounty campaigns and i searched and found that you have to be a member of bitcointalk and have a good rank...but i am just a newbie..are there any good bounty campaigns which are accepting newbies in their campaign

Unfortunately, all bounty campaigns I've seen do not accept newbies. But in general I have heard that there are some who do it. You'll just have to dig deeper and find one. Good luck.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which is best coin for long term hold? on: July 23, 2018, 03:54:36 PM
i need suggestion from you.you guy's can give me best info.
i want hold some crypto hold for long time.which can give good profit for long term?

I can not say for sure if this is the best choice but for a long-term investment I think that a great chance to increase their price drastically have coins like Stratis, Qtum, BitShares, WAVES, Siacoin. I think at least one of these coins can bring great profits.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fear for empty balance in future.. on: July 23, 2018, 03:49:28 PM
I am very afraid for my crypto balance. At present I have some coin.I brought this coin previous december month. But at this time my balance to become very small. So I feel fear for see empty balance in future.Any one can advice me now what i am doing. Will I sell or hold my coins?

I think it depends on which coin you are talking about. But overall, since the beginning of this year, the market has been in a very poor condition, and it is yet to rise again. So I think you can see your balance again risen. I would advise you not to worry.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should buy and hold NEO? on: July 23, 2018, 03:46:25 PM

In my opinion, NEO is a very potential project, the current price is around $ 36 has dropped quite a lot compared to previously up to more than $ 160. NEO technology is very much appreciated. The project runs on this platform and NEO also has a strong ecosystem. Should we buy NEO and keep it in the long run?

Yes, I think NEO deserves to invest in it. Besides the fact that his technology is very good, I think his application is much higher than most other coins. I definitely think that NEO has potential for market development.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it better to have many altcoins or it is enough to have few? on: July 19, 2018, 03:39:12 PM
I know that there are many kinds of alternative coins existing today, but is it better to have that many coins instead of having just a few? What are the benefits and harm in having that many alternative coins?

It is definitely better to invest in more than one coin. But I think you should not over do it. I personally prefer to invest my money in three or four coins. So I will always have a chance for good results. But the excessive number of coins to invest according to me is not a good strategy.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it risky to buy not top 100 crypto currencies? on: July 19, 2018, 03:23:49 PM
Hey what do you think, is it risky to buy crypto currencies that are not top 100? I mean do you have a higher chance to lose your money or not?

In my opinion, this is not a decisive factor in the investment risk. There are coins that are not in the top 100 and still are some of the promising altcoins on the market. That is at least my opinion. I can give you examples like Vertcoin, Deepbrain Chain, DragonChain. Overall, I think there are a lot more coins that are out of the hundred and are worth it.
16  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price is back to surprise us on: July 18, 2018, 04:09:45 PM
i was away from internet for 24 hours, BTC price was ~$6.350
today i come back and surprised with new price, it's now $7.400 and appear to be increased.
that means $1,000 jump during last day, it's very good step to reach $30 k by the end of the year.

i'm very glad that Bitcoin and other currencies are growing again that quickly.

Yes, this is a very pleasant surprise. Especially when you've been working all day and you open up to check the market and see everything in green. Let's hope this is the beginning we waited for this year.  Smiley
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Uneducated people join Cryptocurrency? on: July 18, 2018, 04:03:07 PM
Can possible uneducated people join the Cryptocurrency?
Have one condition he have enough balance to trading. So what do you think guys?

If you mean, someone who is not familiar enough with the crypto world to start trading, the answer is yes. But the question is, is it worthwhile to put his money into something he does not understand? Because even if you have experience with trading in standard financial markets, the crypto market is different.

In my opinion, before someone decides to invest in something, he must be well aware of what he is doing, or he will just spend some time and eventually lose his money.
If I correctly understand the question, that's my opinion.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How should i invest in altcoins on: July 18, 2018, 03:56:06 PM
There has recently been a lot of hype about altcoins and how they will grow in the future, how is investing in them optimum for good results. Altcoins like humaniq, LALA World, Wala are my main targets for the portfolio.

Yes, some of these altcoins, in my opinion, will explode soon. But I think you should not overdo the number of coins to invest in. Better focus your investments on three or four (up to five) coins. Here are some more potent coins: Deepbrain Chain, Power Ledger.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bounty not an investment? on: July 18, 2018, 03:33:20 PM
I have seen a lot of threads here asking about whether people will invest in a coin or do bounty. Its high time we all understood that, investment is not only about money. To me, any effort put into something to make it a reality can be regarded as investment. People who buy coins invest with their monies whiles those who participate in bounties also invest with their time and energy. Money is a replaceable resource but time can never replaced. To me, bounty hunters are also investors. What do you think?

I fully agree with you and share your opinion. I do not know why people just do not appreciate their work and time and think that only when they give money can lose. In fact, they lose so much when they give away their time without any reward for it. In my opinion, everyone should know how much his own time is worth.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how much you can profit from altcoins on: July 17, 2018, 05:27:49 PM
I want to find out why everybody wants to invest in altcoins, what I want to ask is, how much money did you get from altcoins so far?

It depends on many things. Whether you trade them daily with them. Whether you invest in them for a long-term investment. There are different strategies that are differently profitable.
