Hello, I have written a small python script that sends a system notification whenever a new block was found on slush's pool. You can check it out here => https://github.com/stylesuxx/slush-block-notificationYou only need your API token from the pools account page and you are ready to go. This *should* work cross platform, although I have not tested it on win and mac. So if anyone does, let me know if it works. Feedback is appreciated. Also I take feature requests.

Ah, sehr gut. Danke für die Info.

Attackers never really get anything out of their efforts in the end.
Mhhh,... the only ones to know what they got are the attackers, I guess. To say that they did not get anything is just speculation.

Is the website offline right now?
I can access it.

Looks interesting. I will give it a try in the evening :-) I wonder though if this is still maintained since the last commits are a couple of months old.

I don't really understand your question. Can you maybe rephrase your question?

Hey, I don't think that you will get happy with that setup. If you check the ddwrt wiki => http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Asus_WL-520GU they state that the USB support is not that good. I am also wondering why you had problems with the network settings. Last time flashing a router with *WRT, i think it was ddwrt or maybe tomato, this all worked out of the box including a webUI. Have you considered trying ddwrt? Maybe you could post a link to the guide you followed and tell which step did not work for you.

Holy cow 14h with ~57TH/s for one block. I'd really be interested if someone maintains a negative "Highscore" list for cases like that :-D

Is it a good performance to hash at 1900 MHs/s for a total consumption of 750 Watts ?
Hmm I don't think so. You can get 1900MH/s with ~ 6 Block Erupters each consuming 2.5W totaling in 15W. This would be the same hashing power at 1/50 of the energy cost. You must know something I don't, mining litecoin with those Oh, sorry I overread the litecoin part *blush*

Basically yes, IF you install some kind of mining software like cgminer.

Nice setup. Can you tell me which fans and fan control you use there?

Hello, I started mining a couple of days and since it is always more fun to do things in groups I joined slush's pool.
Now I could observe that whenever the Luck goes up the cluster performance goes up to. So I guess there are people watching the pools luck and joining the pool that is most lucky. In fact I don't think that they physical are watching the luck but rather that a script is choosing the pool with the best luck for the next block.
I would be interested which scripts are used for luck hopping and if it really increases the reward. I mean, just because the pool had good luck the last couple of hours does not mean that the next block will also be solved that fast - otherwise it would not be called luck,....
So yeah basically I am interested in luck hopping scripts and the percental more gain you can get from hopping.
Cheers, Chris
