Hey guys, any chance for Robinhood support? Zero trading fees would be awesome!

The .one Domain is not from us! Can you guys also notify the mods to take it down asap?
Don't touch it. We have nothing to do with that.

Trying to get it removed as well.

Reported to mod...hopefully will be removed soon.

WTF is this? ^
I think we need some clarification. I tried to download the linux and it gave me a bogus .exe with the wrong size.

Hey CT, don’t touch it. I think it may be a hijack site. Margin guys never said anything about a new website “Margin.one”. Not to mention the poster is a new member with 0 posts. Very suspect at this point. If you logged in on that site I recommend changing your margin.de password immediately!

Any idea when the ARM (raspberry pi) version of Margin will be available? Thanks

New patch released (margin 1.0.1)

  • fixed a possible buffer overflow issue, when erroneously entering an empty value in the login mask
  • fixed a bug that under some circumstances caused spot orders to enter an infinite place/cancel loop
  • fixed some issues for people who used an older CPU that doesn't support a set of advanced SIMD-instruction sets. This lead to an "illegal instruction" error. Please notify us if you you still encounter other "illegal instruction" errors!
  • re-enabled the ARM version

Hey guys,
The new version is coming up now on Raspberry Pi with one problem. Kraken is no longer an option on the login menu...

Hi,

you are correct. The Kraken market made it mistakenly not into the patch release in the ARM version. Will be fixed asap.
Thanks for you support!

  Rene

Thanks Rene. All else seems fine with the new version. Btw, anyone using Kraken, set your API nonce window to 5000. I was getting a lot of communication errors back and forth with the Kraken servers when I had the default (set to 0). All errors have virtually disappeared since I changed that setting.

as previous subscriber of leonardo do i have an free limited time subscription?

Yes, you get 6 months free if you bought 1 exchange license for Leo; 12 months free if you bought lifetime unlimited license...You also get 50% off subscription fees going forward after the free period ends if you decide to continue using Margin.

I got an email that directs me to  new margin software. It says "we no longer store your half API secrets in the binary so you will have to add them in the 'Manage Exchanges' section of your account area." Should I store there my full  API secret or only half of it?

Just half of the secret on the website; whole secret when logging into program...

Anyone get Margin to run successfully on Raspberry Pi 3 yet?

When I try to open in GUI nothing happens at all; When executing in command  prompt, this is the message:
____________________________________________________
pi@raspberrypi3:~ $ cd /home/pi/Downloads/margin-arm
pi@raspberrypi3:~/Downloads/margin-arm $ ./run-margin.sh
running on Raspbian; using system libraries
installing margin icon to user account
cp: cannot stat 'icons/margin.svg': No such file or directory
./run-margin.sh: line 56:  3072 Segmentation fault      ./margin.arm
pi@raspberrypi3:~/Downloads/margin-arm $

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Another bug i found..

If you have a (margin maker) bot running on a pair, the stop the bot and say yes to remove the open order but need to modify the order for whatever reason.

leonArdo _always_ crashes. It's reproducible on any version since 3.7.8 on ubuntu linux at least...

I can't reproduce this. Anyone else have this issue?

Jonathan

Hey Jonathan, I’ve noticed it only happens when I’m running Margin Maker bot on Kraken exchange (using Raspberry Pi 3). I don’t use MM anymore, just Bollinger (it works fine). With MM whenever a buy or sell threshold is met it will execute the order but it immediately stops the bot and then a pop-up window asks “are you sure you want to cancel the current order”. Almost as if it thinks the order is still there even though it already executed. I’ll search back and see if I still have some logs related to this.

So i'm not sure if it's FUD but the users who use Binance with the BOT, it seems there has been an API issue after their exchange has been hacked.

They are claiming the exchange was not hacked and all funds are safe, but some people using the API were affected. Could've been a bot scam or something.

Anyone else having no charts for TRX with Bittrex api? Mine is only showing the previous 25mins when I just turned it on for second time today. Wasn't like that earlier but the charts were screwed up when the coin first came on Bittrex.

Yep, same issue for me using TRX/ETH pair.  Haven't tried BTC.

It's weird cause all my other paired coins are fine. It is only TRX. And I would really like to run leo with it.
Has anyone sent support a note to let them know data collection is down for TRX/ETH?

Sounds like an exchange issue if everything else is running fine.

This is not about feature comparison.

This is about the fact that they did "lifetime license" their marketing promise and leverage. Lots of users invested in product based on that promise when the product was in early stage.

If all those users would compare the product with other more mature products subscription vs subscription they probably would not invested.
And then those users reported bugs and spread the world about the product, etc. And what did they get in return?

Again, you should understand those users who are upset arent upset about how margin will develop their business. They are upset about how developer treats them, current loyal users.

Switching the business model in NOT in question.

I DO NOT see any issue with future users paying subscription. It is fair because future users will make their buying decision based on NEW information.

It is about greediness to capitalize on past users who were fooled to pay a "Lifetime License".

They DID give you something. It's called FREE for 1 year and a lifetime 50% discount on subscription costs. What more do you want from them? I hear a lot of complaints with NO SOLUTIONS EVEN BEING SUGGESTED...WHAT DO YOU WANT??
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: leonArdo - Bitcoin Trading Bot: Binance, Bittrex, HitBTC, Poloniex, Bitfinex... on: March 02, 2018, 02:06:38 PM
Can’t wait for Margin! Super excited for what you guys have in store.  Grin

And for those complaining about subscription-based transition, if you can’t afford $12.50/mo for an awesome money-making trading software maybe you shouldn’t be using it in the first place. This is still the best deal out there, in my opinion.

For those that purchased a lifetime license just recently within the last few weeks maybe something extra can be done for you folks out of solidarity. I don’t know how many of you there are but maybe a 75% discount for your first year and then 50% for life after that. I don’t know, just throwing it out there.

What is a "Hero early adopter customers"? Is that all existing Leonardo customers?

Also, what is the subscription price for those who needs more than $3k limit? I can't seem to find any info on the new model on your website...

Thank you.

Go back to page 193 and scroll to the bottom (Announcement Post from Margin Team). You will see the new pricing model. Thanks.

I, for one, will continue to support Team Margin. I've been very pleased with the product and I think it will be well worth the extra money. These folks have been working their asses off to support us with limited resources and I think helping them scale up will be a benefit to everyone in the long run. I understand that this will upset some people but you have to decide if you think there's a better product/dev team at a cheaper price. IMO, no.

Hacky, I know you have a unique situation. I was mainly posting for regular “joe” user like myself. But I do hope you find a good solution for your issues. I feel like you are pulling Leo in an even more progressive and robust direction, which is great for all of us. Power users are constantly pushing the limits and capabilities of the software. In the long run this is a benefit for all. I hope you keep it up and don’t get too frustrated because it really is a service to everyone using the product. Thanks!
