Some complexity is necessary to put 64 or 32?

what is the difference of 24 hours?
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NEMOSMINER multi algo profit switching NVIDIA miner on: February 10, 2018, 02:28:40 PM
We should not use 24 hour actuals in our profit switching script, that makes sense.
But current estimate has a high fluctuation.

Does anyone see a reason why we should not just use the average of both values? (as long as current estimate is not zero)
Or we could just check if current estimate is not zero and still use 24 hour actuals?

I use a customized version of Nemos which does some of this.
I'ts less switching than CurrentEstimate / more than Actual24hr. Works great for me since about 2 weeks.
Moreover with the current down trend. Following Actual 24hr is not great.
Made it available here: https://github.com/MrPlusGH/NemosMinerPlus-v2.4.2/releases. Have a go if you like.

Added functionality:

prerun feature

Ability to run a batch prior switching to a specific algo.
For example, can be used to set OC via nvidiaInspector
Simply create a file named <AlgoName>.bat in prerun folder
If <AlgoName>.bat does not exist, will try to launch prerun/default.bat

ahashpoolplus

  Added ahashpoolplus as a pool.
Simply use -PoolName ahashpoolplus in start.bat
Uses calculations based on 24hractual and currentestimate ahashpool prices to get more realistic estimate.
Includes some trust index based on past 1hr currentestimate variation from 24hr.
This shows less switching than following Current Estimate and more switching that following the 24hr Actual.
AND is NOT sensible to spikes.
  Better profitability on our rigs.
Test and share the results on yours.
Only for ahashpool. Working on expanding the feature to other pools.

Algo switching log

Added simple algo switching log in csv. switching.log file found in Logs folder.
Can be easily imported in excel as csv file.

Looks great, I am testing it on all my rigs now.  Thank you!
how did you test ahashpoolplus ?

Very interested in some information about this topic as well...  Also, single dedicated pools and managing them in AM vs multi-algo pools

There's no right or wrong answer here, only what your priorities are.  The Current setting will make AM check the current values at Whattomine, and the 24 hour setting will make AM check the 24 hour values at Whattomine.  AM is agnostic in this decision... it's yours to make.

Why would you choose one over the other?  Using the current values will attempt to keep you on the most profitable coin... at that point in time.  This can and will cause peaks and valleys in your overall profits because coins don't stay "most profitable" for very long.  The 24 hour values will help smooth out those peaks and valleys to keep you mining a "mostly" profitable coin longer.  I've written extensively about profit switching in this thread, I ask that you go back or search this thread for my musings and opinions on the matter.

Remember though, the Current and 24 hour setting would only apply to individual coins that you are mining, not to Online services like zpool, MPH, and the like.  If you setup a dozen of your favorite coins as individual pools and put them in a pool group then AM can profit switch on that pool group and will use the Whattomine statistics including your Current/24 setting to help AM decide when to switch.
why can't I use the zpool multialgorithmic, MPH for extraction in the present or 24 hours on these pools?

Where can we download and add to AM high performance miners like ccminer X17SPmod ?

if you go to http://www.zpool.ca/site/miners  on most popular algos, like X17 and order by percent of used mining software, you will see that X17SPmod has the best HashRate and is used by 65% of top miners. next one is alexis with just 15%.

For NeoScrypt algo the best performance is from ccminer/8.18-KlausT  and we can easily find it and integrate. Any idea why it is not included in AM ? Or how can we find and download all the other SP-mod ones, for the highest profit ?

Any ideea ?
you can give a link where you can download X17SPmod?

We all lost hours instead of having all coins and algos added in this paid software. If the developer is so busy and lazy pay an Indian to add the coins and to export the config files. It is being asked for weeks and developers do not care. Add all algos and coins.

For the past days persons that mined PHI made 30% more money and phi is the most mined and most profitable algo on all pools.

Today phi is most profitable and users are not able to add it or are unaware about money they lost and tomorrow will be another algo that is missing, all because the developers do not care or want to pay $100 to someone and create the conflig  files for all algos and coins.

We are all tired of lazy developers from the team that do not care when we all loose thousands of dollars every day.
You can answer me?

PHI isn't even remotely the most profitable. I'm pulling about $25 per day per 1080ti at the moment on other coins.

What do you do to get such a large income?

How did you set up?
you get only one coin lux at phi algorithm and put it in your purse and will save or you immediately convert to btc on the pool?
On what pool do it?
Can you show your settings?
What did she give you in return?

Hello, is there a way to add PHI algo? Espicially the Lux coin? Could it be added in next version?

http://www.awesomeminer.com/help.aspx (Yes...be surprised Awesome Miner's official site has a comprehensive Help / FAQ page)

Contains everything you need to know about how to add custom algo/coins/pools/softwares to get LUX mining going

Hi thanks for your help! Smiley I actually have tried to add it, but I have some problems getting it to work properly, I cant get it to show current profitability, and therefor it is not usable in an profit miner for me. I have setup it up to manually target Luxcoin at the moment, but I would like it to be in a profit miner.

I guess I should have made it more like an request than a question, I do have paid for this software and would expect coins and algoes to be updated. I am still learning though, so I might be doing something very wrong, could anybody give a step to step guide for how to add phi and Lux coin if it is so easy? I am trying to use the help page, and I do not succeed.

Happy to help as a AM community, just don't expect everything handed on a silver plate, if Patrike is to maintain coins/pools/algos every so often, he'll have to charge a hefty subscription fee for his ongoing efforts or hire someone to do it. Right now he didn't and his priority would be on expand core functionality and bugs rather than housekeeping of pools/coins that pops out of the blue and vanishes every now and then.

Ppl can go and read crackfoo's (zpool op) rant about ppl chasing after most profitable coin just today, he ain't got time for that kind of thing, and I'm sure Patrike who isn't even a pool op, should not need to either. It is as Crack said, if one is going after those, go ahead and do it themselves, AM has the ability to do it, but isn't the AM dev's job to baby sitting one's mining operation options.

AM is NOT NiceHack nor is it WinMiner, they have software that mines to their own pools and if they don't have a particular algo, it's in THEIR control and feel free to rant to them, AM the SW itself is not affiliating with any particular pools and hence unfair if you reckon you're being ripped off just because an algo is not present (but can be setup and customized to your likings once you get the know how)

To setup, this is what I did:

1: Setup Algo

2: Make sure if not predefined coin, point to statistics provider, in this case whattomine json

3: Setup online services for whom has a pool, if using custom pool, set it up in the pools section

4: Check your Online Services Tab (Update if needed)

5: Check your Coins Tab (Update if needed)

6: Check Predefined Coins, you can see LUX is now in predefined list

7: Make sure you setup your software to enable mining of the said algo too (in this case, built-in CCMiner 2.2.4)

Lastly, step 5, 6 might now show up after first setup, sometimes restarting AM seems to have it working for me.

Cheers,

Why is bitstamp?
what you have is the time of the update rate of the coins?

Who can suggest how you can add a coin LUX, the algorithm phi I have already added.

Who uses which settings for maximum efficiency in mining coins. Interested in the statistics section, the current or 24 hours, setting time switching algorithms 5 minute, 1 minute, 1 hour?
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: January 20, 2018, 12:06:33 AM
I noticed PHI1612 algo with LUX coin is very profitable almost all the time and better than most of the coins and also if you notice on aHashPool almost half of the pool is mining PHI algo, but AwesomeMiner does not include LUX coin and PHI1612 algorithm that will give at least 20% more profit if being used instead of the best other coins from AM.

Can you add the missing coins and mining algorithms for the next release, patrike ?
There are plenty of coins more profitable that AM ignores and are not added by default.

I added PHI1612 and LUX coin manually in many areas for pool and coin configs and it works. There is a bug that was noticed by a previous user, when you save initially the custom pool service for PHI,
AM removes the .com  from field "URL base" and the process won't start. I edited, added.com and saved again and it worked, the same as a previous user did and notified a few days ago.

It would be great to see the missing algorithms from AM that have hundreds of users on aHashPool and MinigPoolHub and add them to AM's new release. This will increase the daily revenue by at least 30% as it happened to me, but I had to add manually some missing and very profitable algo and coins.

I bet the users of AM will be very happy to see they are earning 30% more just because important algos like PHI are missing from AM, do you all agree ?
Hi, can you help, show screenshots of your configuration missing coins PHI1612 algo coin LUX?
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: January 19, 2018, 05:47:36 AM
Tell me why, in the algorithm equihash right in the Info section the value 0,26305 and BTC/GH/day 278,21?

And another that would have properly accrued in Nash, in section ststistic option is correct to choose the current average or 24 hours?
Because exchange rates can change quickly and make the calculation for 24 hours not very well, and you can lose money?
