Whats not to like about its free to use, and no mining.
2  Economy / Economics / Re: How many people in the world know about bitcoin? on: March 19, 2018, 06:02:49 PM
I don't think its known around the world much at all, I'm from the UK and we are way behind the times when it comes to Bitcoin and crypto. People have heard of Bitcoin but just the name itself, they have no idea what it is.
It was just the other day i was talking with somebody at work and suggested he invest into Bitcoin, he had never heard of it so i tried to explain it as simple as possible, it went straight over his head. I told him to do some research.
The next day he come in and said no chance, not got a clue I've been reading about it all night and still none the wiser, what the heck is mining haha
It is only a matter of time tho, people keep hearing the name Bitcoin and it will grow and grow and become stronger.
People are ignorant and because they don't understand it they won't adopt it, but they will be sorry in the long run.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I need to double 4,000 USD in 2 weeks on: March 14, 2018, 06:17:31 PM
Don't think you will achieve this, especially the way the markets are right now.
Gamble red or black on a roulette wheel, although you could lose it all. I would research and invest in a good coin and hold for the future.
4  Other / Meta / Re: Feeling sad on: March 14, 2018, 06:00:58 PM
Ranking up is a bit like holding Bitcoin you just need to be patient, and eventually will be rewarded.
Don't be sad about it tho, just keep plugging away you will get there in the end.
5  Other / Off-topic / help settle a debate? on: March 14, 2018, 05:40:23 PM
Lets say both your parents are Irish, and you were born in England.
Are you Irish or English?
This question can apply to any country, just want to know what peoples views are might settle a debate I'm having.
6  Economy / Speculation / Re: panic or to be calm on: March 14, 2018, 05:35:47 PM
Dont panic, i may keep dropping or tomorrow it might just fly up.
Nobody can really predict it. Im sure it will rise again just play the long game.
Bitcoin has seen these drops in the past, just ride out the storm.

11  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think about this? on: March 08, 2018, 04:29:25 PM
Probably fake news, people panic selling, people selling for profit then buying back when price is low.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Btc and government, what does the future holds? on: March 07, 2018, 06:27:58 PM
I really don't see how they will go about banning it?
I believe the governments hate it, because they can't control us if we all used Bitcoin they can't control us.
They will have to allow so they can get a slice of the pie somehow, Bitcoin is the best thing to happen since the internet.
I hope it succeeds and we are no longer slaves to the government.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin also lead to corruption ? on: March 07, 2018, 06:22:25 PM
Of course it can but there is corruption everywhere.
The governments have been trying to slowly get rid of cash, because they can't control it or tax it. Cash is used for illegal activities and corruption since forever.
But now Bitcoin has been created and is growing and becoming more widely used, its back fired on them. A currency that we can all use, that they can't tax, but now that want to ban it in certain countries or regulate it and they blame it on illegal activities or corruption.
Its bullshit its because they can't control us, they control us through money through banks.
It doesn't matter what they do, there will always be corruption.

16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO is officially banned in China !!! on: March 07, 2018, 05:46:40 PM

17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin behavior during a recession on: March 07, 2018, 05:40:30 PM
Interesting one, who can defiantly say.
Its the governments and banks that cause recessions, if everyone was involved in crypto or Bitcoin there would be no recession.
You would have full control of your money, I'm going to say Bitcoin would do well in a recession.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: who created bitcoin? on: March 06, 2018, 07:36:06 PM
Satoshi nakamoto is believe to have created Bitcoin, but remains anonymous.
Hal finney was involved from the very early days, and actually received the first Bitcoin transaction.
Personally i believe it was Hal Finney who created it.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You have 1m dollars.. on: March 06, 2018, 07:01:59 PM
I would buy gold, Bitcoin a few altcoins, spread some into a few banks think that covers most of it
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I BUY GOLD OR BITCOIN? on: March 06, 2018, 06:36:37 PM
Gold is a safe bet, why can't you buy both. I would say bitcoin is a bit more risky but the rewards are bigger
