Almost all people know about bitcoin. even the elementary student know the word bitcoin. problem is they dont know the value and how to earn bitcoin. But in the future they learn a lot about  bitcoin.

i dont know exactly how many but i think only a small percentage of people know about bitcoin. but as of now, the number of people that engages on bitcoin-related activity and actually gets interested on it increases.

Bitcoin is continuously gaining global popularity. There is no certain number to give on how many people in the world know about bitcoin. However, since bitcoin is done mostly on the internet, perhaps, everyone who uses the internet, social media, television and other mass media medium are not new with this technology. But, how many people are engage and doing bitcoin operation in the world? Nobody knows, even survey can not give you a certain answer, but what is sure, is we are continuously growing in number.

I think that the percentage of the people who are aware to what is bitcoin is very small. If we want the bitcoin to become popular, we should do a way where we can inform other people on how important the bitcoin in our society.

I think that in the mostly countries people know about that, but not everywhere and information given us on TV/media are inaccurate, so we need to look for some information alone.

There are many people( 4 out of 10) who know about the crypto currency. As from that only 2 will be willing to invest and work under crypto currency but other 2 are afraid to invest in it after knowing the risk related to it.

I don't think its known around the world much at all, I'm from the UK and we are way behind the times when it comes to Bitcoin and crypto. People have heard of Bitcoin but just the name itself, they have no idea what it is.
It was just the other day i was talking with somebody at work and suggested he invest into Bitcoin, he had never heard of it so i tried to explain it as simple as possible, it went straight over his head. I told him to do some research.
The next day he come in and said no chance, not got a clue I've been reading about it all night and still none the wiser, what the heck is mining haha
It is only a matter of time tho, people keep hearing the name Bitcoin and it will grow and grow and become stronger.
People are ignorant and because they don't understand it they won't adopt it, but they will be sorry in the long run.

possibility in my country about 20% -30%. in saying so because people in the villages have started many who know and join in bitcoin. used to be only part of urban people who know.

Many people knows bitcoin day by day, but i think in the whole world 40% of population knows what bitcoin, bitcoin will become stronger and popular cryptocurrency in the future when all of people what is bitcoin and how its works in near future, not more than 50% of the population in the world who knows about bitcoin and cryptocurrency because the demand is still not scattered and many still do not believe in bitcoin. No one can give you exact data about this but let us see some stats:

1) I think that the number of people becoming aware about bitcoins must have went 10 times last year. Bitcoin received a lot of media coverage last year when it crossed huge levels like $10000, $15000 and even touched $20000.

2) In my country less than 1% of the total population is investing in bitcoins but I am sure that more than 20-30% of people here have heard about bitcoins. This is because it was covered in both TV news channels and print media recently.

Media in the case of bitcoin is playing very much double game, it gives away the negative news about the crypto currency but at the same time the negative propaganda also advertise this, because if you ask me I also heard the name of the bitcoin through the same way in the media and then I started to research about it using internet and different blogs. I was lucky to have a circle of people who knew something and they gave me the direction as well. But now a lot of people know a lot about the bitcoin, so this implies that a lot will be knowing from them and this process will continue.

Even people will know about bitcoin, there will still be government and politicians who are going to create black propaganda in order to reduce the popularity of cryptocurrency and because of that, they are revealing their true nature on how they want people to go on poverty.

More than millions of people know bitcoin.I don't know if anyone knows the exact amount of people who use bitcoin.But I think the amount is huge people who use bitcoin.Due some countries have banned bitcoin but mose of the countries people use bitcoin regularly.I think in Asia, bitcoin user numbers is huge than any other.

I suppose in my country probably over 25% know about Bitcoin, but if we are talking about the world the percentage of them will be lower  - 10% or less.

I think it's actually difficult to accurately determine the number of bitcoin users around the world. Nonetheless, there is data that can give you a rough estimate of how many individual bitcoin users there actually are.
Currently, there are almost 28.5 million bitcoin wallets that hold more than 0.001 BTC according to data compiled by Bitinfocharts.com. However, most bitcoin users have several bitcoin wallets and use multiple wallet addresses to increase their financial privacy when transacting in bitcoin. Hence, the number of bitcoin users is likely less than 28.5 million in my opinion.

It is just unbelievable that most of the people of this world already have known about bitcoin. Bitcoin have started their way just some years ago and most of the people have started to deal with this. Bitcoin gives the most amount of profit to the people so that almost all the people want to join this coin.
They talks about this coin with different type of people so that this name has spread all over the world with a very short time. Almost all country have some poor and illiterate people who doesnt even know how to control a smart phone. We can not expect positive review from them about bitcoin but if you see to the literate people who have some idea about current world and internet then you will see that most of them are notified about bitcoin and they wants to join with this coin.

Most people around the world keep working only for fiat currencies, and trust the banks which keep fighting BTC. Also Media in its majority keep spreading false and wrong news about digital currencies.

20% of the world's total population - This is a huge percentage for computing people who know about Bitcoin. Apparently no more than 10% have ever heard what it is, And our community Perhaps even less than 1%.

If you're asking the percentage of people in the world who know what a cryptocurrency is, I would estimate: below 1%.There are 7 billion people in the world, give or take. 1% of that is 70,000,000.Now, more than 1% of people may have heard of Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies, but there's a vast difference between having heard of something and knowing what it is.

Day by day its increasing. Every year we could see a large crowd pitching into crypto either to invest or to earn from this community. As there are lots of doors opened to earn and benefit one self, more and more are moving towards crypto, it include governments as well. Countries started adapting bitcoin and launching its own new coins as well which will certainly increase the wealth of the respective nations.

Many people have an access to internet. And because of social media adds and news, I think 70% of the population of the world heard of bitcoin, and only 30% know about it but some of them aren't interested about it.
