Can you answer two very basic questions please:
1. What does reefcoin have to do with coral reefs, i.e. what purpose is intended for that coin and how does it do anything for coral reefs?

Borró el servidor de Discord y hubiese tenido éxito borrando el código depositado en Github de no haber sido por la rápida acción de varios miembros de la comunidad. En minutos, @AT-sONK había abierto un nuevo servidor de Discord, la mayoría de la comunidad encontró la forma de incorporarse en pocas horas y en los días siguientes se reclutaron más voluntarios para salvar el proyecto; con el objetivo inicial de establecer una re-proposición del proyecto conducida por la comunidad. ¿Y qué es REDEN?REDEN es la continuación directa de la moneda una vez conocida como EDEN. El cuatro de abril, el desarrollador de EDEN, iodev, huyó con casi 16 bitcoins (cerca de 128.000$) del dinero invertido para ser empleado en intercambios, listados y desarrollo. A día de hoy, la respuesta de a ese terrible incidente has sido el nacimiento de una nueva moneda: REDEN. Algo switching is complicated, really complicated as it is affected by many factors from including individual blockchain networks' stability and accuracy, statistic gathering site's accuracy (such as WTM), Pools profit reporting accuracy (Yiimp, MPOS), Pool Luck, number of miners mining the coin/algo, TTF block, pray you didn't mine on the wrong chain on a chain split....etc. and a lot more.
Most are truly out of AMs control but some you can alleviating by carefully selecting your own pools, IMHO, AM's true potential doesn't lie with Profit Switching with its own Predefined Online Services, it's mere an introduction or a workaround for ppl who are looking at ease of use tools like NiceHash, NEMO, MPM (quote need verification, I never used NEMO, MPM) where your variability in profit are less pronounced as they limit themselves to only a few set of pools. The beauty of AM is that you can already turn ANY combination of pools, coins/algos that's available in the cryptoworld today (mineable ones of course) into its Profit Switcher!
Like I suggested before, Switch Away from predefined Online Services and find your own pools for your coins, Stay away from auto exchanging Yiimps too if you are a true profit switcher. The former is flooded by too many users, the latter interferes with real coins' profit statistics. Also, a profit switcher tries to stay away from PPLNS, PPLNT pools (which can be a painful time consuming job to find) especially if the PPLNS, PPLNT window is < pools block time...you will waste time mining there (luckily most Yiimps are PROP but most Equi and Ethash pools aren't), also use @soothaa's coin plugin for starters and switch away from WTM...use WTM only for more established blockchains, the less established ones can get overlooked and not accurate at all, when problem occurs, they can take days to get fixed, if fixed at all. Also, true profit switcher uses "Current" statistics rather than 24 hour avg, this is suggested by Ahashpool, I find it hard to believe in the first place but starting to understand why.

One big question:
I have set up several yiimp style pools, with some custom coins
Is it possible for Awesome miner to read API's from theese pools to switch between custom coins? Like I suppose it does with zergpool or zpool
I want the program to switch based on difficulty, better than estimated profit.
As there are coins wich difficulty changes each block, manual input makes no sense...

PS, if you have no ASICs or ASICs for certain ASIC algos, I suggest you disable most of the ASIC algos since no point mining them with GPUs/CPUs, disable via 1) ....above.
Is there a way, or a list, to know wich ones are ASIC algos? |

HELP!! lol I am using SMOS and I can only get one of my rigs on this pool. I am using Suprminer-ccminer-v1.6 and I keep getting this error. Anyone?? UGH!!! Thanks for the link. But I don't like closed sources... I've just donwloaded both Ravencoin Miner and Zealot/Enemy and only this one made nod32 pop up. Both being a zip with a miner inside... |

So how would you determine what the best coin to mine is? (Not saying your wrong I'm just trying to understand what method you would use).
You do your research on a variety of coins and pick one to mine that you think has a bright future. If you are using profit calculators to chase minute by minute profits you will end up losing out badly in the long run. Chasing profitability day to day like that is how you determine if someone is experienced/educated in this space. People that chase daily profits just have no clue about how to do this long term. Yeah, something like that is what I've found (and I'm still a newbie) It's not only about mining. You have to know how market works and lots of new concepts besides rig, miner and pool. |
