1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Could ether hit 100k? on: February 22, 2021, 03:19:40 AM
Is it possible for ethereum to be worth 11 trillion in the future?

Yes, Ethereum will hit $100,000 sometime between 2025-2026. At that point Bitcoin will probably be near $1,000,000 USD. It obviously depends on Ethereum’s ability to innovate and beat out the growing defi competition, however with so much momentum behind them now, I think it’s inevitable.

If you think $100k Ethereum is a lot, wait till Bitcoin hits $10,000,000 a coin in 2029 Wink

Don’t listen to all these bears on here. I’d bet more than half of them buy the top and sell the bottom.

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is Anyone Mining with Halong Dragonmint B29/Innosillicon D9 DecredMaster? on: May 23, 2018, 03:46:03 AM
What kind of numbers are you seeing? Decred is pumping pretty hard recently and these are hard to find, but I've seen eye-popping numbers. Is anyone running one of these bad boys?

I have a B29 and earn about $100 worth of decred per day.

I am and selling mine for $7,000 if you're interested.  Smiley

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain Launches the New Antminer B3 Miner on: May 18, 2018, 01:46:55 PM
A GPU miner for Nvidia graphic cards is released http://uupool.cn/course/btm. What do you guys think?
-> doorstopper incoming

Wonderful...  has anyone tried it yet?  Is the software submitting the same amount of shares?

WTF is going on? All of my payments are still in "paying" still even with the bm address. I'm pissed beyond belief. WTF are you thinking Bitmain?? Get this shit figured out BEFORE you release the miner. OTHERWISE DON'T RELEASE IT UNTIL ITS FIGURED OUT ON SOME TESTNET!!

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain Launches the New Antminer B3 Miner on: May 16, 2018, 01:11:13 PM
Daily earning little bit over 26 BTM. Yeah sucks

Did you guys see this?

https://twitter.com/AntPoolofficial/status/996711294903443456

Does anyone have any experience with pointing Antpool to Bibox's BTM wallet address? I'm assuming it works but how do I tell for certain? I have not got a payout yet, it's still stuck in "paying".

Not sure what to do b/c I don't want to lose out on earnings but I don't know if it even works or not.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin making alts useless on: May 15, 2018, 02:31:28 AM
Instead Ethereum, NEO, LiteCoin and other top altcoins are far way better than Bitcoin especially in terms of transaction speed.
Bitcoin is just the first of its kind but it does not mean it would always be the only Crypto that could lead the crypto market.

I'm getting very bullish about decred.

I think this coin is an *actual* BTC competitor. Love to governance aspect to it and you have to love the dev team.

I'd be surprised if it didn't get close to $1,000 in the next few years.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: sia coin prediction at the end of 2018 on: May 15, 2018, 02:29:31 AM
Most likely the price of Siacoin will go to its stable value about 0.006 - 0.007$.
This value was stable for a long period in last year before sharp growth.

with it's crypto technology offering isn't that good enough because this time every altcoin will be based on the effectiveness and the demand of their crypto product.
SiaCoin had many competitors today, like Storj and Oyster as few to mention and that's why I invested more on Oyster Pearl over SiaCoin because Oyster has only less than hundred million supply so it's price value will increase rapidly.
SiaCoin will probably hit around $0.10 this year but I don't think it could be higher.

I'm hodling this coin till next year...hope it gets up to $.3 to $.5 per coin. I think it can if it gets its development together

9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain Launches the New Antminer B3 Miner on: May 14, 2018, 09:45:12 PM
has anyone tried standard PC case fans. Does it work or is there not enough static pressure to cool the chips? Thanks

Sorry if this has already been answered but is anyone elses Antpool earnings stuck in "Paying" status? How long does it take to for Antpool to release the funds?
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Forget About Mining SIACOIN because Difficulty is EXPLODED !!!!! on: May 14, 2018, 09:37:50 PM
Hu Guys,

Forget About Mining SIACOIN because the Difficulty is EXPLODED to the MOON !!!!!  Roll Eyes

Can somebody explain If the chinese Asics A3 are the reason that it is NOT interesting anymore to mine Siacoin !!!

The cost off eletricity with  is at the moment double off what you can mine in Siacoins !!!!!! So this is over and OUT i Think !!!!

Siamining has raised the diificulty lever the last months aproximatly 8-10 times like what it was in Januari/ Februari !!!!
and the prize  is only rised a bit from the Siacoin...  Cry

So if erverybody is quiting with Siamining they has to put the difficulty down..??

Is there already something else you can mine with a Antminer   Huh Huh Or is it only SIACOIN Huh

I wait for your reply..

Thanks

you must be new here

I remember when I was upset the difficulty was at 9,000,000. Now it's at 34,000,000.

I used to make 1,500 coins off one antminer, now you're lucky if you make 5,000 coins a day if you have 20 miners
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer B3 Bytom Mining First review on: May 11, 2018, 05:29:17 AM
Any body knows how to get Bytoms from Bytom Wallet to exchange? Or how to sell them from Bytom Wallet?
Please advise.

You will NOT be able to move BTM Tokens from the Bytom Wallet until they change from ERC20 token to a "Main net" type token.  Then the exchanges will have to list that new type of BTM token on their exchanges.  At that point in time you will be able to move to an exchange.  Until then you are in a HODL mode with the tokens in your Bytom wallet until Bytom makes that switch.

This is very similar to what is / going to happen with EOS in June.  If you have EOS tokens they are currently ERC20 tokens.  When they go to EOS "main net" then they are still EOS tokens but will be converted from an ERC20 type to a "main net" type.

Hope this makes sense and I'm using proper terminology.

Now if you are mining on AntPool - you CANNOT use the BTM wallet address that starts with "BM" because that is NOT an ERC20 BTM address.

So what d o you do? If you have any exchange account listed in below link - you can then get your BTM (ERC20) deposit / receive address and use it for the AntPool address in your subaccount.

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bytom/#markets

Finally, I just looked at my Antpool subaccount and I am currently getting a pay out of BTM to my ERC20 Exchange account!!!  Very cool!!!

Thank you very much for your clean explanation. Have your money cleared on exchange? I have still have 2 transaction pending on Antpool and nothing on exchange. Please advise.

I just looked Tuesday morning EST and my Antpool payment still says "Paying". So it has not gone to the exchange yet.  Wonder why its taking so long.

has this been resolved? I have the same issue. This miner is not worth anything if we're not earning coins. Payouts have been made succesfully with UUpool?

OK, so just so I'm 100% clear, I signed up for an exchange that has a BTM/ETH pair (I used Bibox). Got a receiver address for BTM in Bibox, put that address into my subaccount in Antpool, and then Antpool should pay me out in BTM to that Bibox address. Correct?

This is definitely more confusing than the other miners but if this is accurate, it's not so bad.

Also, I only have the option for PPS+...but it makes it seem like I could choose another option like PPLNS. Is that true or can I only use PPS+ on antpool for the B3?
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Cooling home mining farm, looking for advice on: May 10, 2018, 07:12:18 PM
You are making a classic mistake. You need to remove heat, not add fresh air. All the intakes in the world will do nothing if you dont get rid of the heat. What you want is active exhaust and a passive intake. The miners will pul lthe air in themselves if you do it properly. There are many guides and ideas on this site that will help you.

Fanatic, with respect you need to add any air you take out. Otherwise you’ll destroy your home with negativite pressure. I have over 27 miners and I have 6,000 cfms going in and out of my room in my home. Cheap gable fans work best. Keep costs low and make it simple. Most of my chip temps get into the the mid 80s when it’s 80+ degrees out. So I think your setup should be fine if you can get 4,000 cfms in and out. Check my previous post and look at my images.

14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain Launches the New Antminer B3 Miner on: May 03, 2018, 12:12:16 AM
Unless you just heard about Bitmain last week and/or this is your first miner, don't complain. A miner that has absolutely no ROI estimates is obviously a gamble and if you buy it, your are gambling. Even it Bitmain gives batch 3 away tomorrow, no one put a gun a to your head to make you buy the first batch.

Yes, Bitmain's interest is to make money (not for you BTW), but cast the first rock he who's not here for money.

Bitmain is more than welcome to do what they want - but they just lost a bunch of customers who will not buy early products now. So, bad business is like karma. It always comes back to bite you in the ass.

Actually it never does, not for Bitmain anyway. They've done this many times and still every time they release a new batch they have more suckers lining up than an Apple store.

Do you actually know this or you just speculating? Unless you have access to their sales data then....

One more hour until Bitmain opens up for the day and starts damage control.

I just wrote a scathing complaint.

WTF?! You don't treat early adopters like this!!

I will NEVER go out on a limb like this again in the future. F*ck Bitmain  Angry
17  Bitcoin / Mining support / Overclocking using Airflow into Mining Room? on: May 02, 2018, 02:17:54 PM
I have a 10 x 11 room where I have about 27 antminers. I've created a hot/cold aisle using a heavy duty tarp. I have (4) 3,000 cfm gable fans for intake and exhaust. 2 fans on the cold side and 2 on the exhaust side (along with a 450 cfm exhaust fan on the very top of the room for excess heat). I also have (2) 14,000 BTU AC units on the cold side too.

Are there downsides to having the (2) 3,000 cfm intake gable fans blowing directly onto miners from about 3-4 feet away? I've noticed the miners perform very well in this setup and temps are good. I'm afraid though that with all the air blowing onto the miner intake fans that it will burn them out or damage them, etc. I basically feel like I'm overclocking them with the air inflow but not sure.

Does anyone have any experience or thoughts on this?

18  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: PCB vs Chip Temps on: April 16, 2018, 07:09:05 PM
Your statement is contradictory Smiley Then you'll be paying MORE for electricity and generating MORE waste heat...

Removing waste heat is key.

I can vent the heat out from the AC units out through a hole in my room, it doesn't flow back behind the miners (it gets vented out with my dryer).

I'm also not paying for electricity Smiley

I would build a more permanent wall to separate hot and cold to eliminate any air "short circuiting", that'd probably help a lot. I'd also look at getting a bit more CFM on the exhaust side.

I don't want to spend a bunch more money on this - I think I might just double tarp it and get another AC unit for the summer months and blow it on the miners.
20  Bitcoin / Mining support / PCB vs Chip Temps on: April 16, 2018, 02:54:15 AM
Hi All,

I have 27 antminers in a 10x11 room on one 4 shelf rack (about 6 feet across on each shelf). See photos below. I have over 6,000 CFMs coming in and going out using (4) 3,000 CFM each gable fans. I also have (2) 14,000 BTU ACs. I've hung a tarp down the middle of the room and cut out rectangle sections where the miner's exhaust goes out (the exhaust end points towards the two 3,000 CFM fans I have that takes the air out). So the tarp is meant to create a cold/hot aisle effect. Some hot air is blowing back but I'm not sure how much.

The chip temps are all OK (mostly 60s and 70s, some 80s) but the PCB on some of the miners are in low/mid 60s. I'm confused why some of these PCB temperatures are still so high. It's not high right now, but when summer comes, I'm nervous that it will get too hot.

Here are some pics:

http://i68.tinypic.com/15nrm9j.jpg

http://i68.tinypic.com/687rmh.jpg

http://i67.tinypic.com/2qmlqn9.jpg

http://i65.tinypic.com/10hkgwl.jpg

I wondering if too much of the hot air is flowing back from the 'hot' side into the cool side. I'm wondering if I even have a tarp at all

Does anyone have any experience with this or suggestions on setup?

Also, I've noticed my hash rates on some of my miners have gone up a little since I've added these new intake and exhaust gable fans. The high CFMs won't hurt the miners, right?
